Schalke & Porto provide thriller

The match ended 3-3 and as the scoreline suggest, it is a thriller. Both sides provided great football entertainment as they churned out over 20 shots altogether and were closely matched.

The away side FC Porto were 2 goals behind shortly after halftime, but they quickly rallied back with 2 goals in 2 minutes through Moutinho and Kleber.

Both sides featured newly signed star names, and it was almost certain that one will steal the show. FC Schalke's Givanildo Hulk who scored a goal was the man of the match.

Season Previews Division 1 Part 1

The division 1 of the UNICEF World Peace tournament provides nothing but action action and action. Packed with worlds best talents the divison 1 makes the title challenge unpredictable.

AS Roma

Manager - Rooney_Persie_RIP

logo-as-roma.png

Waving the Italian flag in division one Roma has the perfect balance of authenticity and talent. Roma has retained club legends De Rossi and Totti which itself states the class of the team. Not the strongest team of the lot but has a equally well defense, midfield and attack. Well the managers decision to make Stekelenburg as captain must be questioned when likes of Rossi and Totti are in the tip. Good depth in squad thus are one of the favruoites for title challenge as well as potential Cup Winners.

X-Factor - De Rossi is the X-Factor as a player who can provide with midfield and defensive stability.

Turning point - Turning point of Roma is their defense. The defense which can win matches as well as loose for them. Need to select the right formation to suit Silva and Agger as the hardcore of the defense.

SL Benfica

Manager - Vendetta

Benfica come into the league after loosing the first game which was quite a surprise for the team of such quality. Not a very happy time for Benfica in the transfer rounds but surely put up a decent team. Ozil surely the center of the team. His pace can turn on and off the attack. The high scoring first game though showed flaws in the defense. All the main midfielders and winger did not provide any assist and well substitutes had to the job for them.

X-Factor - Ozil, the man needs to play in the right position for better results.

Turning Point - Turning point for Benfica is winning Midfield battle. Alba can get forward from the wings too must Benfica must win Midfield battles to succeed.

Marseille

Manager - Maxcher

Olympique_de_Marseille-logo-5BFC7B20E8-seeklogo.com.gif

The name good enough to beat any team. The team has perfect balance of old and young players. Pick of the rounds was of Javi Martinez for them.

Very god team. But well defense look naive and weak. No stream defender apart from Puyol which may force the manager to play Martinez at back. Must get their heads up after getting beaten by Atletico Madrid.

X- Factor - Robert Lewandowski will have the key to Marseille's attack.

Turning Point - Puyol and co at defense may be the turning point. Injury and suspension to defense player will prove very very costly.

Newcastle United

Manager - iAwesome

newcastle_united_logo.jpg

Bad day at transfer rounds for them as the team lacks depth. Well the team does have their game changer in Pastore and Cisse. First lost would have pained for a good team. The team must choose their mentality right and may attack more with defensive stability by Lahm and Coloccini. But its a team vulnerable to counters.

X-Factor - Pastore can set tune to the team.

Turning Point - Injuries to main players may leave the team in the woods.

Galatasaray SK

Manager - Abu Dhabi

Galatasaray_SK-logo-9175CC93B8-seeklogo.com.gif

The Turkish giants are the most fast team in the division with Santi, Rooney, Vidal and Rues upfront. An attack to put your money on. They showed the class in the first game with Santi bagging a hat-trick to remember. I will expect more goals from them.

X- Factor – Rooney will the man to watch as he provides the manager with a choice to keep him as main attacker or provide assists as a attacking midfielder.

Turning Point – Defense needs to be on their toes as no big names there.

Season Preview Division 1 Part 2

SC Internacional

Manager - albert13

Sport_Club_Internacional-logo-B34CD3972C-seeklogo.com.gif

The Brazilian side shows lot of promise for the Division title. The squad is studded with the names of Silva, Bale and Yaya Toure with the Brazilian bend of Pato and Damiao. FC Internacional has the perfect composure in the team as displayed in the first match of the league were the defense was able to keep a clean sheet.

X-Factor - David Silva and Bale on the wings are nothing but just fearsome!

Turning Point - Can not afford injuries in the team and Yaya Toure must click in midfield for them.

Atlético Madrid

Manager - Prince88

atletico-madrid-logo-vector.gif

Looking at the squad of Atletico Madrid I can say though having great talents but they still might lack that depth in the team. Still the team will depend on the new formed partnership between Gotze and Falcao to keep the goalscoring floodgates open.Defense also looks good with Vidic and Baines.

X-Factor - Falcao can tear defenses apart.

Turning Point - Willl be interesting to see the defensive pair of Vidic and Godin shape up at back. Can make or break the games for Atletico.

Bayer Leverkusen

Manager - Venkrontrueblue11

Bayer_Leverkusen.gif

Bayer are the team have great depth in it. Best attacking team in the league with Ballotelli, Schurrle, Muller, Torres and Sanchez. This team can destroy and bring other team's defenses burned down to ground. Well the talking point will be the defense. Its virtually an open defense as Bayer has no option but to play 3 defenders at the back. Very very vulnerable to counter attacks.

X-Factor - Can Fernando Torres provide goals for Bayer??

Talking Point - The talking point will be the ability of Bayer to compete in all forms with the defensive issues.

Rubin Kazan

Manager - Ghora

FK_Rubin_Kazan.gif

The Russian side has put a very decent squad and a team not to be underestimated. Rubin still lacks depth but the quality of Villa and Podolski to score can't be questioned. Well not a squad that can thrash an opponent but a right formation and mentality can give them a nice and decent runs of wins.

X-Factor - They need Villa and Podolski to click in attack.

Turning Point - With just four 90+ players the depth in the team is poor.

Dynamo Kyiv

Manager - R0drigo

FC_Dynamo_Kyiv-logo-474DD21D9C-seeklogo.com.gif

Much of a cup side rather and Dynamo lacks its game changers. Dynamo has built a great defensive and Midfield unit but non to be feared of in the attacking front. Dynamo does not have a experienced player in the goalkeeping position with Ter Stegen still naive.

X-Factor - Can Ter Stegen handle the pressure at the post??

Turning Point - Dynamo must entirely depend on counter attacks to provide them with goals.

Re: ||Unicef World Peace||

Well, with all honesty, I'm not enjoying this setup. My team sucks and I can't agree with the decision to don't do all promissed pots (until all managers have 30 players). Furthermore, put Carlos Fierro in the same pot than Yaya Toure is simply a joke. Of course I was unlucky to take Fierro, but if the idea of the Game World is to be balanced and avoid the bid wars, that shouldn't be done. Really disappointed with this GW .
