Cookiemonster steered Zalaegerszegi TE to victory against Muangthong United.Zalaegerszegi TE beat Muangthong United 6 - 5 in a thrilling Division 2 encounter.

Tallo scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Mathys and Alzate were also amongst the goalscorers.

[MOVE]With that win, I think, gives us newer higher loftier highs of Div 1[/MOVE]

Monkeyshuffl steered Liverpool de Montevideo to victory against UD Logroñés.

Liverpool de Montevideo beat UD Logroñés 2 - 0 in their Division 1 fixture.

Cartabia scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Gazinskiy was also on the scoresheet for his side.

After the balls up of last game we get back to what we were doing well. Winning games and not conceding. Really gutted that we lost the game before as we have such a small chance now of winning the title and will be relying on results elsewhere whilst getting the 3 points against Wrexham. We have won 4 of the last 5 meetings against them, losing one and with the form they are in I fancy our chances of doing our side of things.

We were in credit a few weeks ago but now find ourselves 10.8m in debt and likely nothing to show for it at the end of the season :(

Re: 87+

Over the moon after securing our first trophy. Just hope at the 4th time of asking we can stay in league one and not come straight back down.

Congrats on winning Div 2 :)

Now can you lose the Yoyo tag! :P;)

Ashley Westwoods reaction on hearing the News

LOL

On hearing this Monkeyshuffl had this to say...

Lets just wait until we play each other next season to see who has the last laugh...oh wait :P:D;)

Re: 87+

Well well well its that time of the season again when stuff gets decided :)

Today's the last day of the regular season so here's a run down of whats up for grabs and what prizes you could have won :o

Div 1

Strangely this season all 4 relegated teams have been decided already so current Division 1 Champions Guaratingueta, NK Varazdin, Jahn Regensburg and UD Logrones can all look forward to second tier football next season as they plot to make a swift return.

At the other end of the table the title is still up for grabs. Rayo Vallecano go into the last round of games as heavy favourites to win their first ever Division 1 title. Due to their superior goal difference they probably only need a draw away from home at Stade Brestois. Should they mess up however FC Nordsjaeland are waiting in the wings to cause a huge upset and land their first ever silverware in the 87+ GW so will need a win away against relegated NK Varazdin. Should both of Rayo and Nords balls up peoples champions Liverpool de Montevideo could also snatch their first ever division title by beating the free falling Wrexham away from home. Either way a new Division 1 champion will be crowned tonight.

Spare a thought for Wrexham who after a flying start to the season looked like it was going to be a procession to them winning the title again only for them to capitulate in one of the most spectacular displays we have seen so far. After winning their first seven games of the season (setting a club record) in all competitions they could only then manage 2 more wins from their last 12

Div 2

The Champions have already been decided but should Rochdale win their last game they will equal the GW record amount of points for winning a division set by Como in season 1 of 38 points.

Willem II have secured promotion due to Furth and Zalaegersegi TE facing each other tonight therefore making it mathamaticaly impossible for Willem to be overtaken by both. Furth must win to get automatic promotion but ZTE can settle for the draw to clinch it.

The last playoff place will be contested by 5 clubs going into the last round of games stretching all the way down to 9th place in the league. Four of the teams are playing each other which adds extra spice to the equation.

The only team with didly squat to play for is Barcelona B who will look to put a disasterous season in which they have only registered 8pts from 17 games so far as well as losing their manager part way through the season behind them. With minimal room for things to get any worse for them a good season surely awaits them next time :)

Good luck folks!!

Nominations for the Hall of Fame will start soon so after tonight's games get checking to see if you might have anyone worthy of making the lists. Thanks :)

Re: 87+

Well, when Calcio Como thought they had no hope of reaching the Promotion Playoffs, we ended up winning our last 2 games, including one against the League Champions Rochdale, to surpass 4 sides, who all dropped crucial points, and pipped Siena by goal differential (take that Noisy!) to somehow reach the Promotion Play-off round against Zalagerasi!

Re: 87+

Monkeyshuffl earned a draw with Liverpool de Montevideo against Wrexham.

The match ended 1 - 1 between Liverpool de Montevideo and Wrexham in their Division 1 fixture.

Pavoletti scored the only goal for Liverpool de Montevideo and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Liverpool de Montevideo have finished Second in Division 1.

Liverpool de Montevideo have been awarded £448,369 in prize money.

And so another season draws to a close and still no division title for me :(

Rayo deservedly one it in the end to win their first ever title under manager chridecp1/chR Ristos. Congratulations ;):)

Rochdale where unable to get the 3 points to equal the points record and ended up losing to Como who managed to nick the last playoff place on goal difference to the despair of Doncaster Rovers who where in the playoff places until yesterdays game where they lost to AC Siena who became the unlucky bunch to miss out on goal difference. Mean while in the battle for the last automatic promotion place between Furth and Zalaegersegi TE, Furth smashed ZTE 4-0 away from home to leap frog them for guaranteed promotion whilst ZTE will face a tense playoff final against Como.

Re: 87+

Hall of fame additions.

Ricardo Centurion - Apps - 144

Troy Deeney - Assists - 41

Troy Deeney - Goals - 46

Saido berahino - AvP - 7.43

Cheers

Added (apart from Centurian who hasn't played enough to get on the list - sub apps count too)

I have updated most of the HOF and am ready for more nominations please :)

The best player in the GW at the moment is probably Dennis Cheryshev of newly manager less Crewe who lies second on the all time leading goal scorers list on 58 goals and first on the all time assist list with 58 assists. Strangely though his overall match rating isn't good enough to get on the all time best average performance list

Its been some time since a transfer has gone on to the top ten record transfers of all time due to the devaluation of players nowadays in relation the the better squads that now exist. Will we ever see a record transfer again?

This season has seen the 4th highest number of transfers done in a season since the GW started 10 seasons ago. It is the 3rd highest amount spent in total and the 3rd highest average transaction yet only the 8th highest when looking at the highest single transfer in a season. Pretty good stats which show its been a busy season in the transfer market this season. With the big league reviews likely only weeks away now next season could see a lot of mandatory sales which could eclipse this seasons transfer dealings.

Calcio Como attempt to return to Division 1 via the Play-Off Final against Zalaegerszegi as the club look to return to the holy land in their second attempt since being relegated in the 8th Season.

Allan has said in his pre-match conference that he is using a new tactic that he hopes will pave his club to victory over his counterpart, Phil Cook.

Re: 87+

I am pleased to welcome new Crewe manager Xavier Fernandez/Nikidinho to the GW.

Its a club that that has fallen hard in recent times after winning the Div 1 title in season 6 and now find themselves in the depths of division 2 trying to rebuild again to bring the glory days back again.

Good luck with your new club! ;)

All I can see is Lugano's (soon to be sold no doubt :() GK Adrian with 153 appearances might just sneak in when countings finished?

Welcome new Crewe manager Xavier Fernandez/Nikidinho (wow that'll take some remembering in the after match "Boardroom wine tasting" was it a sending off or not de-brief!)

It will take me a bit of time to get acquainted with the squad, but we'll be back up there soon enough.

Oh well not a bad season for me and another season in Div 1 on the horizon.

Only addition I can see for HOF is

VICO' date=' Fede Apps - 142 Assists - 39[/quote']

Calcio Como lose at the final hurdle to Zalagaerasi (whatever) from penalties

:( after a 1-1 draw at regulation

For the Hall of Fame' date='

I nominate Ishak Belfodil for joint-10th in goals (45)

[/font']

Thanks guys I have updated the HOF :)

Congratulations to Zalaegerszegi TE on gaining promotion back to the big time and commiserations to Como on narrowly missing out this season.

Re: 87+

For the hall of fame:

All time league apps

Nicola Leali 176

added thanks :)

I have updated the Best Game World Mangers of All time list and reordered it this season by way of Avg pts being the more weighted consideration.

BEST GAME WORLD MANAGERS OF ALL TIME (Updated at the end of each season) (* denotes former manager of) The consideration of order is as follows' date=' avg pts first but total pts as a secondary consideration for qualification so that a manager can't just play a few games and be on the list.

Pos...Manager Name..........Pts...Avg Pts...Games...Club

1......David Garvock.........398....2.31.......172.........FC Nordsjaelland

2......Tony Baldo*............425....2.24.......190.........Como

3......Christopher Riley......368....2.23.......165..........Guaratingueta

4......fred ziko.................464....2.22.......209.........Wrexham

5......Monkeyshuffl...........458....2.15.......213.........Liverpool de Montevideo

6......David Scriven..........445....2.06.......216.........FC Lugano

7......bruno pinto*...........411....2.04.......201.........Jahn Regensburg

8......Adam Whitworth......361....1.83.......197.........Rochdale

9......Ian Donegan...........337....1.82.......185..........Stade Brestois

10....DB.........................356....1.80.......198.........Muathong United

This table shows more how well managers are doing with the strength of team they have compared to the strength of others. Despite David Garvock having one of the weaker side in Div 1 he is managing to pull off great results against higher rated clubs and as such this way of organising the table gives recognition to this achievement rather than rewarding those who have just played more games to get more points.

However if we were to look at it from a silverware success view point then Christopher Riley would have to be the manager who has achieved the most success up to now having won the Div 1 title twice the Div 2 title twice the 87+ cup once and the Charity Shield once. A pretty impressive haul especially when you consider Rilo wasn't one of the original managers
