Could be more to it than that, but only United/Mourinho knows

Unlikely! The Monaco players will be off on their holidays probably. Perhaps if Ed Woodward was there it might seem interesting. He'll be the man doing the business.

Accordingly Mourinho wants 4 players - Mourinho gave his list to Woodward, Don't like that idea

Hope De Gea stays, I think he will, But Donnarumma could be next keeper. Still don't like Fellaini or Rojo and get frustrated at Lingard

Been linked with CB's like Marquinhos, Linedof, Keane, Van Dijk - Accordingly Lingard is on Holiday in Dubai with Keane but I don't think Keane an improved in CB area - 1 CB who impressed me is Sanchez from Ajax

Been linked with Fwd/wingers like Bale, Lukaku, Greizman, Neymar, Belotti, Hernandez, Douglas Costa, Lucas Moura, Mbappe, Perisic

Mourinho in Monaco atm, Does that mean something?

Looking forward to see Carrick Testimonial on 4th

I think Woodward and Mourinho have worked well together. None of Mourinhos signings for United have flopped so far and Woodward has seemed to get good fees for our players in spite of them leaving something that never happened under Ferguson and Gill.

Fellaini was vital to our European success this season and practically won us the final. Without him in the squad Mourinho's tactical approach would have to have been completely different so actually unpopular though it may be I feel he is worthy of a squad place.

Rojo has been outstanding this season at CB and is a huge loss due to his injury. Him and Bailly were forming a formidable partnership!

Lingard is frustrating but he is tactically astute and a local lad so I think we can cut him some slack.

Keane is a solid back up CB for the PL and I wouldn't fancy Sanchez. He fouled his way through the final and doesn't have the technical ability to compliment Bailly.

The only forward I am confident of us securing is Griezmann his interviews in France and Paul Pogba's lack of subtlety have for me given away his desires.

Lingard is good friends with Keane so don't think that matters. Should go for Lindelof- I feel Lindelof-Bailly has the makings of a Rio-Vidic partnership. But Keane would be decent back-up.

I shall plug this again. http://www.just-football.com/2017/01/victor-lindelof-benfica-manchester-united-scouting-profile/

I'm fine with Lingard.

Griezmann looks very likely to come which is great.

Bale gets injured too often, Lukaku would be good but don't see him joining, Neymar isn't worth it, Belotti is inexperienced, Hernandez isn't what we need, not too keen on Costa or Moura.

City and Madrid bidding 130M for Mbappe, terrific talent but I rather we stay clear.

And loads of links to Perisic, I like him but he's too old for me. Wouldn't mind but rather we go for someone else. Inter want as much as what City paid for Bernardo, shouldn't pay that.

Regarding Mou he went for the qualifying but not the race? Pretty weird, hoping he went for Fabinho.

So realistically who are we bringing in this summer?

My money is on at least 4 signings:

ST - Lukaku/Belotti/Hernandez

ST/Wing - Griezmann/Perisic

CDM - Fabinho/Dier/Bakayoko/Matuidi

CB -Keane

I think if we aren't keeping Zlatan another striker will be inbound along with a wide left player.

As well as this with Carrick on one year left and having sold Schneiderlin I'd be surprised if we don't recruit a DM.

Keane imo is almost certainly coming back to United.

Lindelof, Fabinho, Griezmann and Lukaku are my dream four. And we stick with Shaw.

Keane seems certain however Lindelof and Manolas are also plausible.

IMO Keane isn't an improvement in the CB area, He did ok at Burnley when they were at home, but away games is questionable. Ik It not only his fault in away games.

De Gea situation needs sorting once and for all. If he goes Donnarumma situation at Milan seems interesting or try and get Oblak(30% likely) but another name rumoured was Kasper Schmeichel

United need CDM to sit and let Herrera and Pogba do their thing. All them names except Dier is like 60-70% likely.

ST/Wing - Griezmann needs to make his mind up, 1 minute its 6 out of 10 to join then he says he has unfinished business in Madrid. Perisic, I haven't watched much of him. Bale saga rumbling on, waiting to see if he starts in the CL final - Main point is and I've been saying this for ages is United need a right winger who sticks to the right.

ST- Lukaku will need step up his game, he kinda got the attributes like Ibra with more pace but haven't proven himself at higher level. Belotti and Chicharito knows where the goal is. Idk on Ibra, I like he to stay as he a great role model for Rashford etc

United or Shaw needs to hire a specialist on Shaw, there is something up with him. He could be United's LB with Darmain(accordingly staying) as back up

United should sell Rooney, bad boy Varela, Johnstone, Januzaj, Wilson, Blind, Young

Loan out CBJ(club that will play him) Harrop(maybe), Pereira(gk), Andreas (can't see 1st team football)

Not too keen on Schmeichel. Would have loved Ederson but shame we can't.

Agreed on Keane.

Not too keen on Bale either.

Ibra should leave IMO, no point in paying him high wages when he'll be out for a bit. They'll take their time till June 30th on this IMO.

Keep Blind.

Rahul...i see u like lindelof a lot...but..he still didnt prove nothing (Benfica players are to expensive for no aparent reason. Ederson for example...51 M???? For me another Claudio Bravo but lets see.)

Fabinho, Griezmann and Bonucci :) and United are good to go

Partly because of the article I wrote on him!

Ederson will do great IMO.

Bonucci...not really, too much spent in that case, think we will compromise on the CB signing and hence Keane.

Also not keen on Schmeichel. Don't think he's quite good enough. Oblak would be a decent replacement but De Gea staying would be best. I thought Ibra wasn't getting paid after his 1 year contract was up? I think the idea was that United would help him get back to fitness with their staff but not sign him on for another year? I'm personally not keen on Lukaku really. Don't think he's quite got what it takes just yet. Not the right type of player maybe.

No need of a new keeper IMO even if de gea goes away...Romero is top and Joel as a brilliant future and made a fantastic half season in Beleneneses (really impressed me...very similar to Courtois)...maybe a third one with 30+ years

Shaw can go. He's shown absolutely no desire to get/stay fit and contribute to the team.

Bit part footballer cum animatronic Jones should be shown the door as well - sick of him lunging like an ape into challenges, only to injure himself time and again. Had a lot of potential once upon a time, but at the age of 24, it is time to find a new home.

Smalling is another one I want to see gone - Daley Blind made him look like a world beater last season, but next to anyone else he's complete pants. He's been responsible for quite a few lost points this season, and if United are restocking and promoting in the defense, I see no reason as to why he should stay.

Wouldn't mind seeing Young stay for another season, as he's so versatile. Same applies for Varela, who could serve as useful back-up for any of the full-back positions. I'm expecting to see Darmian and Valencia as the starters on the left and right respectively, with Blind, Rojo, Young, Varela (and Bailly?) being back-ups if needed.

Januzaj, Wilson (injuries) and Johnstone (who probably won't get a chance) can also leave.

And last but not least, Rooney out, unless of course he is willing to take a 250k/w pay cut.

So basically, all the peripheral Englishmen + Januzaj out.

And on that note, realistically I'd expect to see a line up like this:

De Gea (Romero)

Valencia (Varela)              Bailly (Keane)           Rojo (Blind)               Darmian (Young)

Fellaini (Blind / Fabinho?)           Pogba (Carrick)

Mkhitaryan (Lingard)                    Herrera (Mata/Pereira)                      Griezmann (Martial)

Ibrahimovic / Belotti? (Rashford)

Obviously, this is assuming that De Gea doesn't go Real, and Ibrahimovic doesn't leave too. I don't think Griezmann is the guy to lead the line by himself, since he lacks a bit of bulk.

Not expecting Fabinho to sign, since he's already expressed interest in playing for City, and I would definitely label Belotti as an unlikely signing too, even if he's hands down the best option for United (if Zlatan leaves that is).

City are reportedly not interested in Fabinho, if they were there would have been some movement already. I'm optimistic on that one.

Don't want us to pay the quoted money for Belotti.

Smalling and Jones should go, still hope we keep Shaw, Darmian isn't good enough and may leave.

Varela isn't good enough and his attitude is not good too. See the tattoo incident at Frankfurt.

Rooney leave.

United still have development youngster coming through/playing like Rashford, frustrating Lingard, Mensah, Tuanzebe, J.Pereira, never know Harrop, McTominey, Mitchell and Gomes might get game time in cups next year.

Where is the Liverpool lot

Liverpool have Woodburn, Brewster, Alexander-Arnold, Ejaria, Ojo + Wilson and Kent. This argument is pretty baseless.

Besides, Pereira and TFM aren't British.
