Thought i'd give the Spanish league ratings a go, first time doing predictions so dont expect 100% accuracy The ratings are probably around a month away so i'll update nearer the time if theres any

SM has become more concerned about new games and profits than quality. It's been a long time since the good ole' days.

Re: Liga BBVA Ratings 2012/2013

These are the facts:

Higuain in 2012/2013 season

23 matches in Primera with 13 goals and 5 assist/ 1432 minutes played

9 games in CL with 1 goal and 2 assists/ 477 minutes played

4 games in Copa del Rey with 0 goals and 2 assists / 143 minutes

with these stats he isn't even what you would call a starter.

Last season Mario Gomez was topscorer in the Bundesliga with 26 goals and guess what he stayed at 93.

Re: Liga BBVA Ratings 2012/2013

Can anyone tell me how Abdelaziz Barrada is doing? How he could progress in the future?

Remember a year or so ago he was touted as a very good up and coming midfielder' date=' also seen Arsenal and Spurs are watching him.[/quote']

Obviously got lost with all the outrage with Higuain rise.

Anyone?

Re: Liga BBVA Ratings 2012/2013

Higuain is the most prolific striker in the world (goals to minutes ratio)

No he's not.

.........: Games-Goals-Minutes-Minute per Goal

Higuain: 40- 16-2343-146

Falcao: 37-32-3154-99

Lewandowski: 53-37-4472-121

14 of Higain's 40 appearances this season came from the bench so I really don't understand his rise cause he's not the most prolific neither is he a starter for either club or country

I can't find the link now :P he was around 85 minutes i think... that is due to the bolded part of your statement, and he is always taken off when he does start but always manages to score, that's why his ratio is so good.

Dunno mate, he's played 2343 minutes this season (in all competitions) and scored only 16 times resulting in a min/goal ratio of over 146. His record is better in La Liga though (understandably too :P) where he's scored 13 times in 23 matches (1432 minutes) giving him a min/goal ratio of 110. It's still worse than Lewandowski's (101), Falcao's (98) and Mandzukic's (105) domestic min/goal record all of whom are rated lower than him.

still not enough imo to warrant a +1 to 95, especially on a winningless season...

I didn't see him score against Dortmund did u? If Higuian leaves Real i will bet big money that he won't score more than 10 goals a season that's how overrated he is.

Re: Liga BBVA Ratings 2012/2013

I hope Higuian rating is changed back ASAP. As otherwise this just highlights that SM will be bias to clubs depending on how much revenue they gain via Gold setups.

The longer people are paying to have the likes of Barca/Madrid the more SM will have an biased view point over players and their future ratings, as why bite the hand that feeds you.

Re: Liga BBVA Ratings 2012/2013

Higuain 95...

Müller 93

Lewandowski 92

Falcao 94

Reus 92

Cavani 93

As can be Özil only 94? Higuain spent a long time on the bench for Benzema...

I do not get it either of risers, but even I can tell that the increase Higuain is not compatible either with players from other teams, as the Real Madrid's own.
