Re: WC 837!!!

Barca lie 4 points behind leaders B.Juniors after drawing two and winning one of their matches.

Mehran said he is not worried about this shaky start, but said his team will have to win at least more than two or three consecutive matches to gather some momentum and make up ground for 1st Place.

They play Bayern next, and then Ross' Valencia-Which will be a match to remember as both managers will go all out for the win.

Re: WC 837!!!

A fantastic opening day win for Valencia ;)

They started the match with two upfront, David Villa and Fernando Morientes. David Villa scored on 23 minutes, curling a shot past Victor Valdes. Into the second half and Valencia's other striker Fernando Morientes made it 2-0 to the home side. The spaniards goal from the rebound on 63 minutes, sealed the game for Valencia.

Another win for the Spanish giants, away at title contenders Roma :)

Midfielder Joaquin opened the scoring on 3 minutes for the Spanish outfit, settling the team. Then Roma defender Mexes got them back on track with a goal on the half-hour mark. Into the second half and enter youngster David Silva. The 21 year-old scored on 55 minutes after having a quiet first half. He added another 10 minutes from time which settled a fantastic away victory for Philp's side.

A very poor Valencia performance against a strong Liverpool side at Anfield :(

Liverpool defender Daniel Agger scored on 7 minutes to set Liverpool on their way to a good home win. His strike was followed up by Peter Crouch's header on the stroke of half-time to make it 2-0 to Liverpool. With only 4 minutes to go, defender Jamie Carragher added a late goal to make the scoreline 3-0, which was a bit harsh on Valencia, as Liverpool had only 3 shots on target which resulted in 3 goals for them.
