Besides Jorge Jesus continue to be the coach (he was able to fully exploit the capabilities of football Coentrao and the bonds of friendship that unite the defender took the coach to invite to your wedding), fans have embodied it as a hero, as one of their own as a benfiquista flesh and blood, that vibrates with the victories and the defeats suffered with eagle (someone forgot the air of suffering captured by television cameras from a Coentrao who attended the tribune of the Jamor defeat of Benfica in the final of the Cup of Portugal to Guimaraes?).

Alan Kardec and Felipe Menezes look set to sign for Palmeiras

Not too pleased by this as I would have liked to see Kardec sign for a better club, or at least a first division team. But hope we get some cash for the deals at least. :)

The Future of Nemanja Matic

Nemanja-Matic-008.jpg

Currently PSG, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Monaco are all interested in the player. Real have proposed a deal that involves Real will withdraw their rights for a future transfer of Garay and include Coentrao plus money in the deal. I would be tempted by this deal for sure, and hopefully means we can keep Garay for at least one more season.

Real Madrid entered the fight by hiring Nemanja Matic, joining Chelsea, PSG and Monaco. But it is an entry into force by the emblem merengue, willing to submit a financial proposal attractive to incarnate, to negotiate the rights it holds on a future transfer of Ezequiel Garay and also consider the return of Fabio Coentrao to the Light Will the Real Madrid contract Matic can thus be reflected in SAD incarnate. Firstly, there is the awareness among incarnate, that will be very hard to resist an offer considerable in this case always higher than 40 million. On the other hand, can provide the realization of two wishes - the possible return of Fabio Coentrao and negotiation rights over a future transfer of Garay. lateral The Portuguese, 25, has informed Real Madrid, with whom he has a contract until 2017 , you want to leave - as THE BALL forward on the issue of June 17, the Portuguese international is available for download salary and ignore offers from Chelsea and Monaco if the real possibility of continuing his career at Benfica and under the orders of coach Jorge Jesus who lived the best moments of his career. Benfica can still enjoy any talks with Real Madrid to negotiate all the rights of a future transfer of Garay. BALL revealed on 15 June that the embodied want to stay with the central defender renew her contract and increase the termination clause which is now 20 million. For this to happen, however, the meringues have to relinquish 50 per cent of entitlement on a future sale. This can therefore be an opportunity to reconcile the interests of both clubs.

Portuguese newspaper O Jogo has learned that Sporting Lisbon are on the verge of signing Colombian forward Fredy Montero from Seattle Sounders.

According to the same source, the Lions have agreed to pay €2.5 million for the 25-year-old, although the fee could rise to €4 million depending on various performance related bonuses.

Fredy Montero will sign a five-year deal at Estadio Jose Alvalade subject to passing a medical, although he is not expected in Portugal until next week.

The Colombia international began his career at Deportivo Cali and he enjoyed loan spells with Academia and Atletico Hulia before joining Seattle.

He had a good season at Moreirense' date=' but I think we can only tell once he plays in EU and gets more competitive games. Looks good so far but Ive only seen him play twice

Id say most will be rotated with their current players. Maybe players like Ghilas, Pereira or Quintero will be a starter towards the end of the season. Try eos for more opinions

Re: Portuguese Football

The preseason friendlies have been quite good so far for most Portuguese sides. Some big wins for Sporting over Sociedad and Benfica. Rio Ave over Newcastle and Pacos drawing to Castle as well. Porto destroying Marseille.

Hopefully the standard of Portuguese footy will increase this coming season.

Re: Portuguese Football

Quintero has really impressed me today. :) He was good for Pescara but now with much better quality teammates (no disrespect to Pescara), He can really show the world what He's made of.

I love how he took the #10 of Rodriquez too :P.
