Ashley Holtom steered Lisburn Distillery to victory against Rhyl.

Lisburn Distillery beat Rhyl 3 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture.

Milik scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Leo and Liggett were also amongst the goalscorers.

Milik scores after his lovely rise :)

Re: Battle Of The Tribes M/R Transfer News & Banter Thread

Sorry for being relatively inactive here. I had my exams and whatever time I had I put 80% of it in my new custom GW. Although my team are really cool having lost their first match to Livingston we have now won 2 on the trot. Both 1-0 victories over Rhyl and Dagenham & Redbridge. Mansfield sitting 3rd in Division 2. Pretty happy with the events tbh.

Tribes Turn 3 Results

Division 2

Livingston 4-3 TNS

Livingston made hard work of what should of been a routine win. After going up 2-0 after 10 miniutes unmanaged TNS clawed there way back into the game and made it 2-2 but Scougall grabbed his 2nd and made it 3-2 on the 48th miniute only to be pegged back to 3-3 before a late winner from Morton gave Garry's Livi's all 3 points.

Dagenham and Redbridge 0-1 Mansfield

Hd's manfield pulled off a great victory agaisn't Noisys much fancied Dag and redbridge. Despite having 70% possesion in the game Mansfield only shot on target ended up being the only goal of the match which was struck by Howell on the 22nd miniute. Dagenham has plenty of chances but failed to get past a stubbon Mansfield defence.

Airdrie 2-2 UCD

Airdrie carried on there not so proud name of draw kings of division 2 after drawing there third game in a row agaisnt a strong UCD side. The game didn't spring to life untill the second half when Jeffery Burma was sent off for UCD which should of given Airdrie the advantage but it didn't and UCD took the lead from Belhout only to be pegged back miniutes later by Airdries David Lilley. With the game looking like a 1-1 draw UCD scored in the 81st miniute thanks to Benson only to again be pegged back by Airdrie Adam Moffat which made the game 2-2 and thats how it finished.

Derry 3-2 Longford

Two of the unbeaten sides in division two clashed and it was Kev's Derry who came out on top of a tight affair. Northan Irelands Rory patterson gave Derry a two nil lead after 20 miniutes and Kevs Derry looked home and dry that early but as in every game in Tribes it wasn't over and Destro pulled one back on the 44th min for longford to give them hope going into half time. Mbaye Niang levled things up just before 70th miniutes and the game looked to end a draw before Patterson won it for Derry on 88 miniutes.

Brechin 0-0 Portadown

Although this game was 0-0 there was a massive 34 shots in this game but neather side could break the deadlock. The best chance of the match fell to Tony Watt on the 71st miniute but his volley was well saved by Portadowns keeper.

Linfield 4-1 Alfreton Town

IAwesomes Linfield pulled off a routine victory against unmanaged Alfreton. Stephen El Shaarway got them off to a good start when he scored a penalty after just 2 minutes. Taylor then got things back on level terms for Alfreton but Shaarway fired Linfield back infront just before half time. Local lad Damien Curren scored in the 87th and 88th miniute to add some gloss to the scoreline but Olivar Norwood was sent off in the 89th miniute for taking a poo on the pitch.

Division 1

Lisburn Distillery 3-1 Rhyl

Ash's Distillery grabbed there second win of the season after beating unmanaged Rhyl 3-1. John Leah gave Rhyl a shock lead 10 miniutes before half time but Gary Ligget fired home on 43 miniutes to take the sides in level. In the second half Leo and Milk both shot home for Distillery to fire Ash's side 2nd.

Cork 1-0 Stirling Albion

Kevs Cork proved to strong but Gozzy's sturn Stirling in a tight affair. David Kavanagh scored the only goal of the game just before the half hour mark and despite a good amount of shots Stirling only managed to get two on target and couldn't muster a reply to the goal.

Forest Green Rovers 2-1 Glentoran

Adam got the better of Elohim in a very tight match with both sides having 19 shots a peice and a penalty apeice. Rovers struck first after young striker Watt fired home on 43 miniutes to give Forest Green a half time lead. Mcguigen then leveld for Glentoran with a penalty but Rovers struck back with one of there own Furstner chipping home Forest Greens penalty. Despite many more shots in the game it ended 2-1 and forest green take home all 3 points.

Stockport 2-2 Grimsby

Stockport managed to let a 2 goal lead slip to the hands of there English counterparts Grimsby. Alessandrini gave Port an early lead which was added to just after half time by will Hughes which gave Stockport a solid 2 nil lead. However Mr Dhabis Grimsby shocked all and former Arsenal youngster Yennaris scored a double one just after the hour mark and another just before the end to give Grimsby a valuble away point.

Bohemians 2-4 Drogheda

Jose Nowinhos Drogs carry on there great start and live upto the pre season favorites tag with a strong win agaisnt unmanaged Bohemians. Spanish star Christian Tello grabbed a brace as well as the first agaisnt Bohemians with Shane Long also getting two for the Drogs who now sit top of Division 1 and will take alot to be removed.

Dumbarton 1-1 Crusaders

Dumbarton and Crusaders played out a good but all to familer tight affair in this division 1 match. Both sides have made a decent start and both struck early with Dumbarton taking the lead on the not so unlucky 13th miniute after new signing Scott Allan fired home. Dumbarton fans wern't singing for long if they sing at all after Rainy rained (Im here all night ;)) on there paraide. The game had plenty of shots but neather side could get a winner and both had to settle with a well earned point.
