The captain Kompany said :

We really worked hard to achieve this goal , during these 2years in te past we was in 3rd division , lost our manager , and we got a new manager and we really worked hard to get these results ...i'm really exciting to play in the first division with biggest team, and to try to win the 1st division

The manager Sala DIOUF said :

you know if you have a team , and to try to know all teir qualities , we will work well even if it's hard ... that is what i found with city, reason wy we are promoted in 2nd division , and the 1st one ... we will continu to work because the 1st division will be very very hard ... but our objective still be the same : to win the TITLE

Benfica Welcome Back ex Manager -

After leaving Benfica a few years ago Manchester United manager Mattuie Beckett has been a big part of the English sides growth but today the Portugal club have welcomed back there ex manager on a long term contract after talks with the coach went well, on the clubs website this was said:

We all here at Benfica would like to welcome back young English coach Mattuie Beckett, he has a proven track record and we would like to wish him the best of luck on his second spell at the club.

Manchester United who now go on the hunt of a new coach have said it is a sad loss but there was nothing they could do in keeping the coach from heading back to a club he once loved so much and led to Div 1 football.

Beckett will be aiming for a quick return to Div 1 and will need back to back promotion but United who signed him after doing this in his first spell have said they would like this coach back one day but for now wish him the best of luck in his quest with Benfica.

Re: European Championship 5000 Discussion Thread

220px-Manchester_United_FC_crest.svg.png After an amazing run of 148 games in charge of FC SCHALKE English manager Dougie House has returned home, taking over the hot seat at Old Trafford.

Despite never achieving promotion, SCHALKE came close - losing twice in the play offs - and House is seen as a long term option, with United having seen too many managers come and go in recent seasons. The squad at United needs a major overhaul, and House is seen as the right man for this job, having transformed the squad at SCHALKE, securing the services of the likes of DE ROSSI, CAVANI, MODRIC, NAVAS and others in his time - all on a very tight budget

The first task at the Red Devils is to overhaul the defence - and a deal has quickly been reached that will see RIO FERDINAND leave Old Trafford and head to BENFICA for £9million. The 91 rated CB leaves a big hole in the United defence and suitable replacements are being sought - with a number of targets being scouted, and offers believed to have been made....

ANDERSON will be joining Ferdinand in Portugal, as House sends him on loan - the young Brazilian is believed to have one more chance to save his United career, and impressing at BENFICA will do him no harm

In addition to FERDINAND, veteran LB PATRICE EVRA will also be allowed to leave for cash. The Frenchman has been unsettled in recent times and it has been agreed that it is time for him to move on

And in a move that has shocked fans House has made star men VAN PERSIE & RIBERY available for part exchange

Make a bid or PM for these players

MARKO MARIN & FABIO are also available for CASH...If anyone's interested....

How tight game we witnessed tonight between this English derby beautiful, I admit that this match was very difficult for us, already known by chelsea aggressiveness and ability to manage the ball. but I think the difference was at the attack because we were attacking tonight and at the end, we managed to score the goal of the victorie. 1-0

next cup match with Barcelona, every game is a great game, but we will always be ready to face all the big teams.
