I have some ideas to make the game more realistic,competitive and difficult :

(1) The introduction of transfer window at the beginning of a new season and at the middle of the season....which will look more realistic and prevent excess transfers.

(2) In order to make it more difficult and to prevent unmanaged teams to become weaker,managers should not be able to do cash deals with unmanaged teams...but they should be able to do player exchange deals based on the condition that both players should have the same rating or your player may have a lesser raing but should not be more than the player from unmanaged teams.No restrictions on transfers from external clubs.

(3) Managers who finish bottom 3 in each division should be sacked.These managers should remain in the league and they may take control unmanaged teams in a lower division (if manager of div 1 sacked,then should manage team in div 2,3 or 4 but should not be able to manage his previous team again).Now for e.g if team Arsenal has sacked his manager,then a message should be sent to all managers of the league inviting them to apply for the job.The invitation should be open during a period of 1 week,after that period,the manager (among the applicants)with highest game points in that league should be offered the job.Managers who are in the bottom 3 after suppose each 10 games should received message from their chairman puting pressure on the manager to deliver.

Hello guys,   I have been playing Soccer Manager for 7 years and I always see many managers buy young players under the age of 21, in many game worlds everyone tries to full his U21 squad with

It would be a small update, and to be honest, I can think of dozens of more important things that need sorting! But SM don't read any of this so it's pointless talking about it really.

I would like to suggest that someone at SM contacts whoever runs Soccerwiki and politely suggests that they need to get there act together.

The current system of upgrading/downgrading ratings has fallen well below a standard that's acceptable. So many player's who have deserved an increase have been neglected for going on years now.

Now its certainly not the case that people are not voting on said players, you can see evidence on these forums. I regularly vote and leave posts on SW myself but it would appear that either no ones home or they just don't care.

Its almost become a joke with certain players, you see the same names mentioned time and time again. How can this be allowed to happen?

Anyway i love SM and i'm just disappointed that a system that worked very efficiently has now become a bloody mess.

Any explanation regarding this or any changes in the pipeline to make improvements for the future?

dear SM, please change it immediately :

1, in custom game worlds, make external clubs could bid loan to managed clubs

2, made advanced rules for limitation players in one club, bigger club just invest young player and keep them in the youth squad, its not fair

3, please do a review in bigger league(premier, serie a, bundes etc) three times in year, its just to slow,

4, soccerwiki is useless, could u please remove those attributes, it could make us understanding

5, random match engine & random match engine, when will it change?

There will be no action taken. The game has died. Soccerwiki relies on the input of many. Too many football followers have abandoned ship. The plan cannot work anymore. RIP soccer manager.

Soccerwiki doesn't work because whoever the mysterious people who run it have buggered off on a very long vacation. It was never a good idea in the first place but the way it is at the moment is beyond a joke.

SM, i have spend over 100 pounds on your product, it would be nice if you attempted to fix the major part of your service that no longer works as it should.

If you hope to make further profit from myself and countless others, then fix your player rating system.

The match engine was meant to be worked on, has this happened? I lost 7 out of my 12 matches tonight, all times I had the stronger team with more possession, shots on target but guess what? My keeper received 5 or less each time, with their keeper receiving motm. Each time their total shots on target resulted in a goal each time. Pathetic sm. I can accept one or two results lik this out if 12 but 7 out of 12. Unacceptable. :mad::mad::mad:

I'm not sure if i'm 100% correct but i believe that the new match engine will either be in action once the single player mode is completed in a few months or when the next stage of testing takes place, which should be any day now. Perhaps someone could confirm that?

Yeah it's the single biggest frustration regarding the match engine, i have cursed myself silly many a time at the superhuman efforts of opposition goalkeepers, whereas my Goalkeeper seems barely able to stop a bloody shot.

Yes My GK is NEUER 95 rated & opposition keepers at much lower get Man of Match while Neuer is obviously chewing on a sandwich as every single shot whistles past his nose into the net :eek:

haha he sure loves those midgame sandwiches :)

I could understand it more if perhaps i was playing overly attacking and reckless style of play but that's just not the case.

There's that dreaded feeling when you concede from your opponents first shot and you know your keeper is going to play a 4 or 5 and , happens all to frequently.

Love to play this game but sometimes I've no idea what's going during the match.

F.e. One of my last matches I played 5-3-2, very defensive style, counter attack, man behind ball ........... against a team playing 4-4-2 normal style.

So I expected to play on my own half most of the time, but my team was 75% of the time on the opponent's half. Screaming "go back !" didn't help :rolleyes:

I will be delight if there is a function to multiple renew players contract.

Is there possible to add one more players to become 3 players for maximum exchange of 1 player.

For player search filter, it will be better if "external club" box is added, maybe "unmanage club" box is good idea too.

Other suggestion for player search filter is "out of transfer ban".

I would like to see more features added to custom Game Worlds for those like myself who enjoy creating them. Some suggestions I have are the following:

Transfer Budget - I would like to see a far more specific budget option. Rather than going up in increments of 10 million up to 300 million, have a drop down menu so you can choose a budget from 1 million up to 300 million in increments of 1 million.

No buying players over the age of - Lowered a little, it is set at 21 but I believe it would make for a fascinating set up if you could only by teenage starlets for a couple of seasons perhaps. So maybe lower it to 18.

Cannot do cash transfers over - Again reduced, currently set at 1 million but would make things more interesting if it were halved to 500k.

More Formats - I firmly believe this could revolutionise the way custom set ups can be created. Some of the biggest competitions in the world would be far better if they could be created via the custom format rather than as an addition to standard Game Worlds where more often than not you would play against unmanaged clubs.

So being able to set up a custom game world as a knock out format for domestic and international competitions (including qualifying stages) for both as a main custom feature and as an extension to an idea the creator may have would really freshen up the custom format.

Granted I know this latter idea would create some work but it is certainly food for thought.

Vote cheat system - some dubious deal can be raised by one manager, then other managers vote is that a clear cheat. (since overworkload for SMFA)

Top scorer/top performance/top assist price money - little extra income to the club, no need to be many, maybe 500k for a award.

Kick the dirt out system - some ridiculous manager that destroy the gameworld, like always use weak squad to play (without reasonable reason), always use silly tactic, always do silly transfer (in not very competitive gameworld use 10M buy a 4M player from unmanage club/external gameworld), seldom log in (once or twice per month)... a manager can raise and other manager vote to keep or kick.

Pay specialist - pay some cash to specialist to make those player recover from injury faster (eg.4 weeks injury become 2 weeks after 500k medical fee) better player need to pay more.

Vote for best match of the turn - after each turn, manager can vote the best match for the turn within 12 hours. Winner will be notify by post.

Vote for best manager of the turn - after each turn, manager can vote the best match for the turn within 12 hours. Winner will have their profile pic posted on wall until next match.

Manager of the season - after a season, the best average point manager will win and have their profile pic posted on wall until season close, also recorded in history.

I like the BOLD ideas especially loan to buy i think this would be a great idea except not for the reason you stated.

lol i smile everytime i read this thread and imagine NEUER leaning on the post eating a Tuna mayo sandwich as an FC Koln level side put 5 past him..

I don't know what they did with the player concerns system but they need to correct it ASAP. Suddenly I have players that have played far more than half of my games in the season complaining about NOT GETTING ENOUGH PLAYING TIME. What am I supposed to do, that's just absurd.

I've had players rise from no concern to Level 2 since December, Marquinhos rose to 90 and became concerned almost immediately today he's reached level 2. Good job he's now a starter due to transfers or I'd stand little chance of lowering it.

I believe this has always been the case, certainly experienced it for a few years now. Concerns appear to be calculated on current rating, so when a player rises and the concerns are run, they instantly become unhappy, just don't know if concerns have been toughened up recently (there's a lot we don't know about and can't find out).

As you point out, it makes it difficult to keep that player who was scouted as the next big thing when he was low rated, and then rises close to your first team squad rating. You can't loan him out, as clubs do in real life, because he gets concerns that way.

Force pay for investigation - pay for compulsory investigation for cheating include illegal transfer, fix match, multiple accounts.

Pay for disable automatic SMFA investigation (enable real person investigate) - As everyone know, fix match report, multiple accounts report, illegal transfer report, mostly being rejected by the auto system, making no chance for "justice". Since SMFA are so incomplete, maybe people should pay them a bit to motivate them. Once the report manager paid, SMFA MUST invest the report personally instead of using auto old system. The personal must give a written feedback for the investigation, and if the investigation not enough evident, then MUST inform the report manager what sort of extra evident needed (NOT copy and paste answer!). That is call real communication.

Base on experience, guessing 99% of multiple accounts report are being rejected, 90% of fix match report being rejected, and 80% illegal transfer report being rejected. Some of them are actually not enough evident but most of them is having sufficient evident or almost sufficient evident. Just need a little bit more... why don't give chance to the manager to rewrite the report or add something on report instead of just reject the report and stop the manager reporting again. "already investigated" and "Not sufficient evident" should not be the final solution. Seeing not only happen in normal gameworld, but in the Gold Championship as well (just GOLD member getting respond a bit faster, IF report being processed instead of filtered ).
