New Thread & Posting Guidelines

Recommended Posts

The Soccer Manager Devs read many threads and posts within the Suggestions and Improvements section of the Forum as your ideas help to drive the game forward but we also read other threads within the other boards. Even if we don't respond to them we value all feedback. However, in order for your feedback not to get lost amongst the many posts and threads within the Suggestions and Improvements board we would ask that you take the time to read the following guidelines:

Creating a New Thread:

  • The thread title should represent the content of the post and not misleading.
  • Please ensure that the content of your post is either a suggestion or improvement in relation to the game.
  • Use the search tool before posting to make sure someone has not already done a thread similar to yours. If there is already a similar thread please post in there.

Posting Within an Existing Thread:

  • Keep your post constructive.
  • Stay on topic.
  • Avoid flaming, trolling, name calling etc.

The above guidelines are taken from the General Forum Rules and Guidelines and don't just apply to this area of the Forum but all of it. They are there so that your valuable feedback does not to get lost amongst name calling, flaming, trolling etc. Therefore we kindly ask that if anyone would like to create either a new thread or post within an existing one within Suggestions and Improvements they follow these rules and guidelines and that way we will be able to read your constructive feedback, react to any good ideas / feedback and it will also allow others to join in the debate without their posts getting lost.

It is also worth remembering that we have a team at Soccer Manager and we have different developers working on different improvements. This means that it's not a choice of either improving the user interface or the match engine for example, as they are both happening at the same time.
