Patella

Skull = Cranium

Shoulder blade = Scapula

collar bone - clavicle

thigh bone = Femur

lower arm bones - Radius and ulna

Lower leg - Tibia and fibula !

Jaw = Mandible

Upper arm - humerous

hand bones - meter carpels

toe bones - metatarsals

fingers/toes - flanges i think

breast plate - sternum

Really hard question any one willing to help

To achieve the maximum benefit for

the heart when exercising, your heart rate (in beats per

minute) should be in the target heart rate zone. The lower

limit of this zone is found by taking 70% of the difference

between 220 and your age. The upper limit is found by

using 85%.‡

a. Find formulas for the upper and lower limits (u and l) as

linear equations involving the age x.

b. What is the target heart rate zone for a 20-year-old?

c. What is the target heart rate zone for a 40-year-old?

d. Two women in an aerobics class stop to take their pulse,

and are surprised to find that they have the same pulse.

One woman is 36 years older than the other and is working

at the upper limit of her target heart rate zone. The

younger woman is working at the lower limit of her target

heart rate zone. What are the ages of the two women,

and what is their pulse?

e. Run for 10 minutes, take your pulse, and see if it is in

your target heart rate zone. (After all, this is listed as an

exercise!)

B) 154 (lower bound)

set 2 for maths, english, science. only top set i am in is core PE ;)

reg,im guessing your homework is/was always late as he posted yesterday that his homework was in for today,and unless he goes to nightschool that would mean the deadline has passed ! detention for reg!:D

Im in Year 7 (started school on Monday) and so I have to wait until Half-Term to find out which set Im in.

How long do I have to wait to disect a frog????

You will do this in year 9 , but I think it's illegal now :confused:

I thought it was class lol and I done the answers by myself :D (copied off my mate) and it worked out fine :rolleyes:

In P.S.E today we learned how to put a condom on a condom device although other wise known as a plastic penis :) I got volunteered to put on one and I split it :o I had lubricant over my hands and that was greasy and slippery :confused:

More news next wednesday!

But on a lighter note, disecting animals is now illegal. I did my first disection a A level Biology, i disected a pigs heart and lungs ! i then went on to do an eye ball:confused:

a. Calculate the total number of guests staying for each individual 'number of guests' value.

b. Add all these together to find the total number of guests that stayed in the hotel.

c. Calculate the mean of the data.

d. Find the median of the date.
