Re: Mundus Originibus - The WC Discussion Thread

weren't going to do any more transfers with cska as i was happy with my squad and didn't think i'd have enough funds to makes any major changes,

but due to my match against zenit having a huge ticket sales it allowed me to change one more player out,

so swapped nabakin, who was only a backup and who i couldn't really see going much higher than 87ov for a youngster from lille who i thinks got the potential to surpass him shortly in ratings and possibly go much higher

so out went nabakin and in came sidibe currently only an 85ov but getting a bit more game time now and looks like hes going to be the long term replacement for debuchy.

Re: Mundus Originibus - The WC Discussion Thread

All a bit quiet on the Milan front at present.

No major transfers to talk of, other than our GK situation has been kinda sorted out, bringing in Adler and Mignolet.

AC Milan 0-1 Barca

Our first game of the season saw Milan lose a tight match to Barca. The visitors took all 3pts courtesy of a 5th minute Xavi goal.

Good footwork by Lionel MESSI.

He finds some space to play a high ball into the box.

XAVI leaps in front of the defender and manages to direct it towards goal.

It has ADLER scrambling across his goal.

GOAL!! - He just can't get there in time.

Upon reflection, i guess a 1-0 loss to Barca isn't too bad.

This league makes me have sleepless nights, well as the saying goes anyway. Next up we travel to play Bayern Munich.

Well, atleast we are not bottom........sorry Man City. ;)

Joniesta joins United

302341_1.jpg

Manchester United have brought in some very good young players and the latest is one the manager is very excited about, Jon Williams whose known as 'Joniesta' for his liking to Barcelona ace Iniesta has signed for just over 4 million on a 2 year contract. Even though Williams won't feature straight away he's one the manager feels will grow into the statue portrayed by most.

Reinartz was also on the scoresheet for his side.

Was a tough game and I was perhaps lucky to come out of it with all 3 pts. Specially with Diego sent off in the 55th minute.

I've had one player sent off in both games I've played lol

Re: Mundus Originibus - The WC Discussion Thread

Won the first game with France when I played South Korea away in the SMFA World Cup Qualifiers Group 4.

Won 3-1 with goals from Ben Arfa (2) and Toulalan, very pleased with winning the first game, but I think I got lucky scoring on all shots on target.

4-2-3-1 might not be the perfect fit for my side afterall.

Edit: 5000 posts! :P
