Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread

After dominating possession for lengthy spells it was not enough to win the game against Newcastle' date=' having to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Spurs win comfortably so 2nd place is perhaps the best I can hope for. [/font']

At least you didn't lost 3-1 to West Ham at home ;):P

Assistant was fired tonight.

I wouldn't settle for 2nd just yet mate. 4 of my last 6 are Liverpool, Chelsea, City and you so who knows..

Still, happy to be 9 pts clear with 6 games to go - hoping it will be enough of a buffer to help me through!

currently 14points clear at the top but not counting

anything til its over

a semi and a final defeat in both cup tournaments

has already put that cliche to the test;)

I have signed a few players as we begin the revolution at Cambridge ;

In comes my old legend Chevanton as my marquee signing, I use to watch him back when he played for Monaco, grabbed him off the free agent, has signed for QPR in real life.

Here are the ins, mostly p/e deals:

GEYER, Thomas

DONNARUMMA, Daniele

MCBEAN, Jack

CHEVANTÓN, Javier

My Barnet side are 10 points clear with nine games to go. hoping my large squad for a division five team should see me through the three games a week run in.

New Cambridge manager doing some good business adding to what was already a good division five squad could be a real threat in the playoffs hopefully I will hold on to top spot and avoid the lottery.

Agree Cambridge are a mighty fine squad but too far behind to bother Barnet. I'd be more worried about Aldershot , which I am as will certainly have to face Aldershot or Cambridge at some point . My own team which was built on air compared to those two has little realistic chance this season despite being 3rd as the play off's are just random chance.

Defeat to Luton [2-0] was half expected after making so many new changes, pleased that we got Piniero Rafeal in, decent improvement on Diogo in the goal with an 84 replacing the 80 rated player, Rafael getting decent minutes in Serie A this season. We also added youngsters Sangalli and N'doye.

15 signings in and 14 players out have given the Cambridge a much better look and value, we will make another couple of signings in a few days when Ferri's sold after his TB is up, he will leave and 2 will come in for him.

Dan Martin steered Wolverhampton Wanderers to victory against Gillingham.

Wolverhampton Wanderers hammered Gillingham 7 - 2 in their Division 3 fixture.

Adriano was impressive and scored a hat-trick, later being voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Van Der Wiel and Biglia were also amongst the goalscorers.

win comes at a price though, lost moisander for the rest of the season

hopefully with a bit of jiggling it won't be too damaging

Good away result this evening:

Benjo Benjo (Forum) steered Wigan Athletic to victory against Huddersfield Town.

Wigan Athletic beat Huddersfield Town 2 - 1 in their Division 2 fixture.

Boerrigter scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Maloney was also on the scoresheet for his side.

Hitting a great end of season form just like the start;

Out of our last 7 league games, we have lost 1, drawn 1 and won 5.

Confident of making the play offs now.

:)

Tobias Armiri takes control of Queens Park Rangers.

This season your Chairman expects you to gain promotion.

Queens Park Rangers were founded in 1882 and play their home games at Loftus Road in London. The club is also known as The Rs. They have a rivalry with Chelsea and Fulham.

I will do my best not to disappoint Harry Redknapp although it's going to be really hard. We have a balance of £-7,000,000 what means that it will be almost impossible for us to do any transfers for the moment so we will be fighting for promotion with this squad unless some of you can loan us 2 or 3 players.
