Hull City's website jump the gun with Di Natale deal.

Hull City fans are in dreamland as rumours of Di Natale joining the Tigers look closer to reality than initially thought. Hull's website accidentally released an article which claims that Di Natale has joined the club but it was immediately removed. The image was luckily print-screened before it's deletion and Hull have confirmed it's authenticity on their Twitter account but stressed the deal is subject to personal terms and Di Natale IS NOT a Hull City player just yet. Exciting times.

Friendly # 2

A tale of 2 halves for Saints - we tried a 5-4-1 for the first half and went in to the break 5:1 up.

So I ambitiously went 3-5-2 in the second half looking for a record goalfest and almost lost the game as Lincoln rang rings around us.

Lacazette seemed to settle quickly - very pleased to have landed him from Lyon.

Alfreton Town beat Dagenham & Redbridge 2 - 0 in their Friendly fixture.

Keane had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match.

Protić and Carlsson were amongst the goalscorers.

Impressive performance, could have scored way more than just the 2. Very happy at how this Alfreton squad is shaping up.

Bristol City 12 - 1 Barrow AFC - Someone contact the doping agency!

Hancock a Busy Man as Liverpool Sign 5 More Stars!

Liverpool Boss Hancock has had a very busy past few days as The Reds have made no less than 10 signings since Hancock was appointed as Liverpool manager less than a week ago!

It was confirmed today morning that 5 new players had signed for the club and all of these players were household names. David Alaba, Arda Turan, Erik Lamela, Lucas Moura and Antoine Griezmann were the latest signings made by Hancock.

The biggest name has to be 21 year old LB David Alaba who was heavily linked with a no. of teams including Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion but the Austrian decided to sign for Liverpool. With Alaba's arrival, the Liverpool defence is now complete and it is without a doubt an amazing defence. Handanovic-Howedes-Subotic-Bonucci-Alaba, there isn't a team in the league who wouldn't be delighted with that defence.

Completes a very intimidating defence

Turan, Lamela and Lucas are expected to be the 3 attacking midfielders for Liverpool who will play behind lone striker Luis Suarez but this is only speculation, only Hancock knows exactly how his team will be lining up. Suarez is expected to get the goals for Liverpool and it will be very surprising if he didn't find the back of the net consistently especially with players like Turan, Lucas, Busquets and Lamela feeding him the passes.

As for the signing of Antoine Griezmann, the 22 year old is likely to rotate with one of Lucas/Lamela in the first team. Hancock is a known admirer of Griezmann and it isn't surprising to see him being signed by Liverpool. Griezmann is one of the most talented players around and he joins Liverpool on the back of an amazing season with Real Sociedad in the La Liga.

The Liverpool squad is almost complete but The Reds are expected to make 1 or 2 more signings before the season opener on Sunday as they are being heavily linked with 2 players in particular who will remain unnamed for now. Reporters managed to catch up with Liverpool boss Hancock and this is what Hancock said when asked about his new signings:

One thing I can't understand is why so many people are surprised at the players we're signing, all of them are stars, superstars and we are a great club so it's not a surprise they want to sign for Liverpool. I'm delighted with my latest signings, especially with the signing of Alaba. I had focused on getting a very strong defence and with the arrival of Alaba I have now succeeded as our defence is now complete. Both Lamela and

Lucas at 21 and 20 years of age respectively are already amazing players and they have the potential to become even better players in the near future. Turan has had an amazing season with Atletico Madrid, people always talk about Falcao but Turan was amazing for Atletico as well last season. As for Griezmann, it's not a secret that I rate him very very highly and I'm delighted that we've succeeded in signing him, he'll prove to be a very important player for us not only this season but in future seasons as well.

Several reporters questioned Hancock about claims that he was the

'next best thing to Superman' especially after several eye-witnesses state that they saw him 'diverting a train away from a car', this is what he had to say when asked about these claims:

Err...I'm...I..Um...I...have no idea what you're talking about! I don't entertain such silly and stupid questions, now stop pestering me!

After this defensive statement Hancock left in a hurry. After this incident several eye-witnesses state that the moment Hancock turned a street corner, he lifted himself off the ground and flew into the sunlight.

Sebastian Giovinco took time out from his Confederation Cup heroics to sign a 3 year deal with Premier League Southampton.

He will be joined at St Mary's by promising German keeper Oliver Baumann - who became Saints' 9th signing in a frenetic transfer window

"Financial Fair Play is a load of cobblers. Now, who else can I buy"

The Butcher has been previously involved in ruining a number of clubs and is sometimes known as "Hampshire's Peter Risdale"

United continue to buy

IN: Emboaba Oscar OUT: 4,000,000+Shinji Kagawa

Oscar in trainings for United

Oscar been at Chelsea in his first season in Premier League and was quite decent. We brought him because we believe that we can get him to next level. He has played 34 games and scored 4 goals for Chelsea and also established himself as an important name on Brazil team where he is now a regular. For Brazil he played around 21 games and scored 6 goals. He's been quite impressing and simply impressed with his vision, technique and a few beauties. He's definetly a guy to watch in the new season at United.Keep an eye on him.

IN: Marco Reus OUT: 3,400,000+Luis Nani+Ashley Young

Reus at his presentation for United

Marco Reus is without doubt one of the best footballers in the world at the moment. In Raz mind he's probably the best and the #1 target at every club he would manage.Reus is a Dortmund boy, born in Dortmund who left the youth team to get some gametime.Firstly he left for Rot Weiss Ahlen where he's been impressive and carried the team to 2.Bundesliga on his own. After 3 impressive years there Gladbach decided to get him. He's been in Gladbach for another 3 years untill Dortmund and Bayern came after him.Of course he wanted to go home and he turned down the bavarians for his club,Borussia Dortmund.Well he played at Dortmund for a season because Raz and United came after him and consider him one of the main lads for United rebuild. The winger/striker/attacking midfielder played 32 games for Borussia, netted 14 goals and around 14 assists. That's very impressing for a lad who used to play as SS at Gladbach and been played as a winger for Dortmund.Raz is over the moon to have Reus here and he's definetly a contender for captain spot in future or even now.Reus is definetly one to watch for the new season in Premier League.

IN: Jordi Alba OUT: 7,200,000+Danny Welbeck+Patrice Evra

Alba in Barca shirt

Jordi Alba been impressing at LB over the last few seasons at Valencia and now at Barca. He's considered the best LB in the world along with Alaba at the moment.Quite impressing for a 24 years old.Alba is a 100% Valencia product and we all know what top players they have produced over the years...Mata and David Villa and David Silva are just a few examples.Alba is now the Spain regular LB aswell. He's pretty much untouchable there. He only had a full season with Barca because United hunted him and they got him of course. He's one to watch in defence for the next season.

More to come....

Clarke - 'Di Natale will be the top dog at Hull City for years to come.

At 35 a few may have laughed, a few may have questioned, and a few may have labelled it a waste of money. But Antonio Di Natale is a Hull City player and Clarke has insisted he has no regrets. Amassing almost 300 appearances for Udinese and scoring 158 goals there is no doubt about the quality that the Italian possesses. However his age is a factor that might have put other suitors off buying him. Here is what Ryan Clarke had to say at the unveiling today.

People may have laughed, but they won't be when they see him in action. Despite his age I am convinced Antonio will be a force for us for years to come, he wants to see out the rest of his career with Hull City, I am delighted to have him here.

Menez, Weidenfeller, Abate and Torosidis all sign for Brighton

After an exciting season first season for Menez, big things were expected for the French national. However the arrival of Lucas Moura sent Menez down the pecking order at PSG and demanded to leave the club even though Moura has recently been sold. Menez comes in for a fee of 600k along with David Lopez and Mackail-Smith heading the other way

Weidnefeller is currently seen as one of the worlds best goalkeepers. He has been in great form for Borussia Dortmund these last few years winning two league titles and reaching the champions league final. Its no wonder he was top of L G's transfer list

The 26 year old is set to become one of L G's key players next season. Abate has blistering pace and will be a threat down the right hand side. Abate comes in for a fee of 1.6m with Lewis Dunk and Adam El-Adb signing for Milan

Torosidis will be at the core of L G's midfield next season and is seen as a crucial signing. His versatility is one of the main reasons Brighton have signed him as he offers cover in defence as well.

Chelsea manager Hazr stages all night party in London nightclub after forgetting about game the next day.

Chelsea manager Hazr will have a lot to answer for today as he manages his team with half of them supposedly nursing hangovers. Hazr was so impressed with his teams 9-0 win over Southport that he rented out an entire nightclub for the squad to party in until the early hours of the morning. At around 2:00 AM the party was stopped after it emerged that Hazr had forgotten about the friendly with Liverpool the next day. Ashley Cole was pictured leaving, bleary eyed and unable to acknowledge the press in front of him. The manager himself had stayed away from the booze according to the Nightclubs owner but that hadn't stopped a few players drinking a bit more than they should a few days before the season. All eyes will now be on Chelsea's performance against Liverpool, should they get hammered Hazr will probably have to explain his conduct to the board, and should they hammer Liverpool maybe Hazr can arrange more nights out for his squad.

This is 100% not serious.

Llorente excited by QPR project.

Llorente QPR's latest signing!

Fernando Llorente has turned down the opportunity to compete in the Uefa champions league by leaving Italian side Juventus. The Spanish forward who only agreed to join the Italian champions last season has agreed to move to N Power Championship side Queens Park Rangers for a fee believed to be Loic Remy and £2,000,000.

The Spanish International joins the likes of Sven Bender and Gokhan Inler by signing for the recently relegated QPR. Despite their recent relegation Llorente is said to be excited by the prospect of signing for the division 2 side and hopes to help the R's back into the top flight of English football. Llorente also went on to say the transfer of many of Europe and the worlds best players to the premier league and below this season was key in encouraging him to join up with QPR.

I'm excited to be sat here next to Maurico and Tony and to be apart of this fantastic project at QPR. Seeing the likes of Messi and Ronaldo along with many others join the clubs here in England encouraged me to come here to. QPR are going to be a top 5 club in this country very soon and with my goals i hope to be key to that rise to the top. Tony and Maurico have promised me the set-up of coaches and quality of playing staff are only going to get better so being here right now and for a long time in the future is exciting to me. Working with legends like the Neville brothers , Beckham , Shearer , Le Tiss and Bullard was also fundamental to me coming here , they were all fantastic players alongside Maurico and i'm confident they can take my game to the next level. Lastly i'd like to say a massive thank you to the fans for the support and welcomes over twitter , alot of the other fans across the country as well as other managers have been equally fantastic and praise-full so i'm happy to be sat here and happy to start a new career in England!

Bournemouth Secure The Services Of Maxim Lestienne.

Bournemouth Manager Ciaran McEvoy has leaked news in an press conference earlier about the possible signing of a Belgium Talent, the words of McEvoy where as follows :

" Names won't be mentioned until the deal has been fully completed but a little tip of about the player is he's a very young highly rated Belgium Attacking Midfielder/Striker who has picked up over 25 goals in 87 appearances for his club and attracted my interest, a winger who can score goals is what we need at this club, we need someone who can produce and get goals for Bournemouth, he has a reputation for being a team player and should fit in nicely at Bournemouth and has a big future ahead of him."

Research was done by the Sky Sports team and were tip off's Lestienne was spotted in the Bournemouth region so it was obvious McEvoy secured his services.

"Maxim played his last game for our club today and was greeted with a big farewell by fans for his tremendous displays over the last few seasons, he was a key player for us in our success, we do not know where Lestienne will be going but all we know for sure is that he will be playing in England's Division 2 next season club is unknown to us just between Player/Players Agent and the Club involved in the deal, We wish Maxim the best of luck in England and thank you for your services. We are certain here in Belgium that Maxim will take Division 2 by storm."

Friendly #3

Braintree 1 Southampton 3

Southampton going about their business with a perfect friendly record - two defeats of lower division teams and a nice win at Spurs.

It means nothing, I know, but a nice way to lead into Sunday's match at Swansea.

Chelsea team almost complete!

Mario GOMEZ has completed his move to Chelsea from Bayern München for £1,500,000 plus Frank LAMPARD and Fernando TORRES

Mario has been signed to lead the Chelsea attack for the season. It is a move that has been doubted by many, as Mario suffered a injury-filled season at Bayern Munich season. However, Chelsea manager Hazr Poland see's Mario as one of the worlds most talented strikers, and firmly believes that he will fire Chelsea to glory this season!

Marek HAMSIK has completed his move to Chelsea from SSC Napoli for £5,000,000 plus Marko MARIN and Demba BA

Immensely talented playmaker Marek Hamsik signed for the Blues today. When questioned about this signing, manager Hazr Poland said:

Every great team must have a player that looks like a donkey's cumface

Fábio COENTRÃO has completed his move to Chelsea from Real Madrid in a swap deal for Ashley COLE

This was a hard transfer for me. Ashley Cole is one of my favourite left backs in the world, but he is getting old. Fabio is a quality player, and will be so for many years, and so he will be a welcome addition to Chelski for years to come!

Many youths have left the club for smaller sides so far as well, including:

  • Milan Lalkovic
  • Jeffrey Bruma
  • Adam Phillip
  • Patrick Van Aanholt
  • Oliveira Wallace
  • Billy Clifford
  • Amin Affane

All to help out the lower league sides :D

Just two more signings planned for Chelsea, then my team shall be complete. Bring on this season :D

Re: English Championship 28697 - Match Reports,Transfer news etc.

Another Boateng Signs? We're Going Bezruk.

So the mystery has been solved. After days of inactivity, Seth Lark, sporting a new chestnut-colored mustache, was unveiled as...

... Chester FC manager.

The move was out of left field, as previous manager Neil Young had led the Blues to three successive promotions. Unsurprisingly, the appointment was met with resentment.

Typical Chester FC Fan:

I'm having a right laugh now. Seth Lark is not the man to lead our beloved Chester FC, he claims to be a master of small clubs (Fulham, Stoke, Hull City, Brighton) but those clubs are like Manchester United compared to us. He thinks he can lead us to the Premier League with a 17-year-old and a couple young ones. Absolute rubbish! Now excuse me, I need to get home. Kate Upton's on tonight.

Bloody hell, could you cut that out?

Despite the disgruntlement, Lark has proceeded to revamp the team, with the trio of Ryan Williams, Bismarck-Adjei Boateng and "17-year-old" Vajebah Sakor strengthening the midfield greatly. After this first round of transfers, it was apparent Chester were still a work in progress. They slumped to a 2-1 defeat to Shrewsbury, the youth heavy team paying the price for their inexperience. Against Leyton Orient the Chester youth were much improved, but 38-year-old Tim Ryan was the scorer in a 1-1 draw.

Enter B-Squared. Seth moved to get Daniel Boateng, the Arsenal youth prospect for a bargain fee. The Englishman plays as both a center back and defensive midfielder. Further versatility was added on loan, with Santiago Bezruk. Helped by the Argentinean's pun-filled name, fans quickly considered this loan move from Hull City berserk. In actuality, the player will be extremely useful for a suspect defense, equally comfortable on both flanks.

Without a doubt, these transfers won't appease the Chester fans, hungover from three successive promotions. Some cynics have even suggested that Bismarck and Daniel might cause another conflict, similar to the enmity between Kevin-Prince and Jerome Boateng. However, the man that has caused "Seth's Mustache" to trend on Twitter might just gain Chester FC their fourth promotion in as many seasons.

Rochdale are happy to announce the signing of more players at Rochdale. This Rochdale team looks like a bomb of young players that is ready to explode. The most important thing is that the Club has acquired enough players to provide backup and have enough quality to challenge for the title next season

I am really happy with the Depth we have,I am not worried regarding any injury that we have as there would be players of equal players to jump into the team

Asamoah & Godin Sign to Complete Starting XI!

Liverpool FC have announced the signing of 24 year old Kwadwo Asamoah and 27 year old Diego Godin and with the signing of these, the Liverpool Starting XI is complete.

Manager Hancock was said to be looking for a quality CM who would command a starting spot as he did not want to rely too much on 21 year old Kevin De Bruyne and he has got his man as Asamoah has signed from Italian Giants Juventus. Going the other way to Italy is 23 year old Daniel Sturridge along with an additional cash fee of £2m. Asamoah had an impressive season at Juventus as his team won their second consecutive Serie A title. The Ghanaian born midfielder is only 24 years of age and perfectly matches the criteria Hancock has been using for his transfers as he is still young and already has a lot of experience and will continue improving as a player. Asamoah is expected to partner Sergio Busquets in the center of the park for The Reds. This is what Hancock had to say about Asamoah:

"I'm delighted to bring in a player of Asamoah's ability and he is a very good addition to our squad. I was looking for a midfielder to partner Sergio (Busquets) in midfield as I didn't want to create an over-dependence on De Bruyne as he's still only 21. Asamoah is a top-class midfielder and he's still very young at 24 and has a lot of his career ahead of him. Another quality of his which attracted me was his versatility. He's a very versatile player as he can play down the left flank, in the center of midfield and also as an attacking midfielder so if we do have any injuries or suspensions he can always be used in one of those positions if we're lacking there. I'm confident that Asamoah will adapt immediately and will prove to be a very valuable player for us in this upcoming season."

The second player to join Liverpool was Uruguayan defender Diego Godin who came in from Atletico Madird in a deal which say Steward Downing, Andrew Wisdom and an additional £3.3m be paid to the Spanish side. Atletico had a very impressive season and a lot of credit must be given to Godin who was an absolute rock in their defence throughout the season. Hancock is known to be a big fan of the 27 year old who he rates very highly. The 27 year old will be delighted to join Liverpool especially since he is reunited with one of his team-mates from Atletico - Arda Turan who joined Liverpool a few days ago. Godin is expected to rotate with Subotic/Bonucci in defence this season and will have a very important role to play as this Liverpool squad lacks depth and has very few defenders as well. This is what manager Hancock had to say about Godin:

"Godin is an absolutely amazing defender who has been outstanding for Atletico for the past couple of seasons. I rate him very highly and he's a massive addition to the team. We'd already signed Turan from Atletico and this made the Liverpool move even more attractive for Godin after I had a discussion with him about my plans for the club and he was delighted to join. He's a top-class defender without a doubt. I was in search of one more defender who would rotate with Subotic/Bonucci in the team as well as fill in when needed in the case of injuries and suspensions. Our defence looks rock-solid as have some amazing defenders in our squad and I'm certain that Godin will be amazing for Liverpool."

Liverpool have also announced that one more player will be joining the club very soon and it is 18 year old striker Aleksandr Mitrovic of FK Partizan. With Luis Alberto leaving on a season-long loan spell to Portsmouth, Liverpool were reportedly looking for a very talented young striker who would develop at the club, who in the case of emergencies i.e suspensions and injuries can play in the team. Mitrovic is one of the most talented young players around and at just 18 has already shown that he has immense potential.

The Reds have agreed a fee for the 18 year old which is reported to be around the £5m mark and the Serbian Forward is currently under-going a medical at Anfield and is reportedly going to be unveiled very soon. Some might say that £5m for an 18 year old is too much but this 'investment' will undoubtedly pay off in the future as Mitrovic has the potential to become a star.

Hull complete deals for 7 new players; more players are still set to join.

Hull City today carried on from where they left off yesterday with Di Natale by announcing another 7 deals as they fight to get the club in shape for the Premier League. The deals have seen a lot of players head in the opposite direction and Hull's squad is very thin. Ryan Clarke has taken a gamble on Hull not picking up many injuries or suspensions or his team could well be finished. The deals are listed below -

Nicolas Isimat Mirin of Valenciennes - 340k and James Chester and Jack Hobbs.

Andreas Cornelius of FC København - 650k and Jay Simpson and Alex Bruce.

Jucilei of Anzhi - 680k and Nick Proschwitz.

Marcos Rojo of Sporting Lisbon - Abdoulaye Faye and Matty Fryatt.

Isaac Cuenca of Barcelona - George Boyd and Aaron Mclean.

Steven Defour of FC Porto -370k and David Meyler and Paul McShane.

Christian Trasch of Wolfsburg - 1.5M and Robert Koren.

With these deals now done and coupled in with the signings of Di Natale, Zieler, Boateng and Arbeloa Hull now have reason to believe they can stay up, even if they have one of the smallest squads in the league.
