Suarez Shines as Liverpool Thrash Arsenal

Liverpools-Luis-Suarez-ce-007.jpg

Suarez is in fine form - this is his second consecutive brace

Liverpool Captain Luis Suarez was the star of the show yet again as he led The Reds to a comprehensive 3-0 win over Arsenal at Anfield. This match was expected to be a very close one with both Liverpool and Arsenal having very good teams and both teams being contenders for the title but the Liverpool players and manager Hancock obviously thought different and have surprised everyone with this huge win.

It took less than a minute for the scoring to be opened as Liverpool found the back of the net in the 1st minute. Maxwell made a poor challenge on Lamela in an advanced position and Liverpool Captain Suarez stepped up to take the free-kick and he scored a beautiful free-kick goal, giving Ter Stegen absolutely no chance of saving it. Liverpool made it 2-0 in the 28th minute and the key-man was yet again Luis Suarez who laid the ball of to Kevin De Bruyne who curled it into the net, making it 2-0 to the hosts.

Luis-Suarez-008.jpg

Suarez opened the scoring in the very first minute of the match - his third set-piece goal in as many matches

Shortly after the match restarted after the half-time break, Liverpool made it 3-0, Suarez getting his second goal of the match from a Lucas Moura assist. Arsenal had a good amount of chances but they just weren't clinical enough and Liverpool keeper Handanovic had a great game, making a total of 11 saves on the night, getting his second consecutive clean sheet in just 3 matches.

This is Liverpool's 3rd win on the trot and they are now at the top of the table, one of only 3 teams to have won all 3 of their matches so far. The Reds currently have an impressive goal difference of 7, having scored 8 goals so far and only conceded 1. Liverpool Captain Luis Suarez is in fine form as he currently tops the goalscorers list with 4 goals from 3 matches and the Uruguayan has also set-up 2 goals for his team-mates. Next up for Liverpool is a tough match away to Stoke.

Boro stop Latic's Winning Streak

jeremie_aliadiere_1003914c.jpg

(Amalfitano celebrates his 1st goal (ok, it's Aliadiere smarty pants))

Middlesbrough 3 - 1 Wigan Athletic

3 straight wins for Wigan Athletic and it seemed that they would make it 4, particularly in the eyes of the media, fans and bookmakers, who were offering odds of 1/5 for the Wigan win when they made the trip to Middlesbrough.

Pre match conference, newly installed manager Roman Carlos was seemingly confident ahead of his sides trip to the Riverside to face Rick James's Boro.

His confidence was repaid when his side took the lead on 27 minutes courtesy of a Shaun Maloney goal, linking on to a Neymar assist.

Wigan went in at half time full of confidence and looking good value to make it 4 out of 4.

However this wasn't to be as it was if both clubs had swapped colours at the break and despite Wigan's many efforts at goal, they had already scored their solitary goal for the match and it was time for Middlesbrough to take over.

Boro made it 1-1 on 49 minutes through Ayew, before a brace from Amalfitano (61 & 77 minutes) to shut the door firmly in the face of The Latics and take their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory.

Carlos was seen to be quite clearly in disbelief as to what he felt was a game that they should have won.

Only time will tell throughout the course of the campaign whether or not these missed points will prove vital for their hopes of promotion back to the big time.

Welcome, To Dartford Football Club

Dartford, most famous for its crossing from new Boss Nick Justice's local area Essex into Kent, however in Dartford there is a local Blue Square Premier League side, of which is named Dartford FC ironically! And just one day ago Justice was appointed as head coach at the club in order to try and obtain league football for the part time minnows. Justice takes over the side after the previous manager couldnt handle the challenge and gave up rather sharply. He left the club in a little bit of a state, having brought in players and given them rather illustrious contracts for a club of the magnitude of Dartford, They are literally draining the clubs funds. Which means Justice will have to keep them untill they are able to part with the club when the next window of transfers arises. Untill then Justice may not be able to put his own twist on the club, and will have to settle for that already available to him at the club. He has stated that when possible he will try his best to improve the squad anyway he can to help achieve the best possible outcome for the club. Justice well renounced for taking the approach of signing young talent and then working for the future, has admitted he may take a slightly different approach when it comes to his new Dartford side as experience could be vital for any chance at obtaining league status. The task ahead of him will not be easy by any means, it will be a very lengthy process into the football league, and Justice hopes the locals and fans will be patient with him and the task he has ahead of him. Justice admits it will take him untill around September/October of this year untill he will be able to really put his mark on Dartford, but he looks forward to when that opportunity. Currently the balance in transfer funds at Dartford is thought to be around £24k, which isnt an awful lot in modern football terms, so the club cant be expecting any world class signings quite yet. Justice has set himself a realistic target of trying to obtain a league position 15th or above in the current season, before they can even look at the chance of play-off positions Justice admits a lot of changes will have to be made.

Dartford's: Like Brazil?

Arthur to shine at Dartford?

Meet Dartford's Brazilian star Arthur Caíque do Nascimento Cruz aka Arthur!, the Brazilian forward. 21 years old and could be the key man in Dartford's Season claims boss Nick Justice. He admits he doesnt know how the previous manager was able to lure such a talents player to join a lower division club, however he has spoke with the striker about his career, and un surprisingly the player said he'd one day love to play back in Brazil as well as maybe somewhere abroad, And Justice may be forced to let him go, however for now he is a Dartford player. And everything about him shows talent and Justice admits he could be the key to his season, despite reports linking him with a switch to Sao Paulo and Corinthians this September, having impressed the two sides whilst in Brazil previously. but the ranked striker of 79, could will prove to be an absolute beast in the Conference Premier and Justice hopes he can cause havoc for the opponents defence.

In a five goal thriller, Dartford Football Club beat AFC Telford United 3-2, it was a thrilling encounter for the locla fans to come and see. Justice taking his place in the dug out for the first time, and much to the delight of the fans who turned up in their numbers to see the new boss and what he had to offer. He certainly did not disappoint the spectators. As they encountered a thrilling game of football, as an end to end game ended with the scoreline of 3-2 as Dartford proved to be too much for the home side. The opening goal was scored just 14 minutes into the game as defender Svenningsen volleying in from range, offering the best possible start for Justice at Dartford. then just 5 minutes later the defender was at it again this time from close range, and just 19 minutes into Justice's first game he found his side 2 goals to the good. The party was brought slightly down to earth for the new boss when the home side put the ball in the net just minutes before half time. With his side now just one goal up Justice had to motivate his side as his team took to the field for the second half. it was just before the 60th minute mark when Svenningsen's game went form hero to zero as he was to go for an early bath after receiving a red card for a stupid tackle. Just two minutes after the incident Dartford found themselves level at 2-2, however they did not stop battling and then they hit what would end up being the winner just under 30 minutes from time with South African out time Mark Arber heading home. to round up a very happy start for new boss Justice.

Six of the best from Di Santo and co.

Franco_Di_Santo-ma_2195179c.jpg

(Di Santo celebrates his 2nd goal of the evening)

Ipswich Town 1 - 6 Wigan Athletic

Still reeling from his sides 1st defeat of the season, away to Middlesbrough on Sunday evening, Carlos sent his side out to face Ipswich Town with one objective, to take all 3pts.

Having again made the now familiar 10 man change as he continues to rotate his squad every match, it wasn't expected to be an easy game against a struggling Ipswich side, still looking for their first win of the season.

It was to be the eventual hat trick hero Franco Di Santo who opened the scoring after 19 minutes with a close range tap in following a square ball from fellow striker Adam Szalai. 6 minutes later, Boerrigter headed in a corner from McManaman on 25 minutes to put The Latics 2-0 up before the break.

Ipswich Town must have been given a serious talking to at half time as it took them only 1 minute into the 2nd half to pull one back courtesy of Acquafresca (46). This only appeared to cause a back lash from the visitors who doubled their efforts and put the wheel in motion for a thrashing.

On 65 minutes, Manuel Torres tucked the ball in to the bottom corner before Di Santo grabbed his 2nd of the night immediately after on 66 minutes to make it 4-1 to Wigan Athletic.

Then on the 74th minute, Callum McManaman was brought down by Edwards, some 30 yards from goal. Di Santo stood over the ball, with the intention and body language of a man that had one thought in his head, which was to have a crack at goal. Di Santo cheekily drilled it under the jumping wall to find the net and to seal an impressive display and hat trick.

Finally on the 76th minute, Crusat rounded the scoring off to make it 6-1 to Carlos's boys.

This was without doubt the sort of response the manager had hoped to see in his side.

The win now puts The Latics 1 point off of 1st place in 3rd on 12 points.

Hull City 2-1 Southampton.

Lacazette 82'

Hull City win against in-form Southampton.

cornelius-7-3-13.jpg?itok=OiYObyRX

Southampton came to the KC Stadium full of confidence as they sat in 2nd place in the table, this was swiftly removed when Hull City caught them napping after 8 minutes. New signing Andreas Cornelius got his first goal in Hull City colours, his shot was slow and rolled past the Southampton keeper but the placement was perfect. They made it 2-0 after 21 minutes in what had been a fantastic 20 from Clarke's men. Jucilei cleverly stepped past a challenge and then fired a shot from the edge of the area that sailed in. They failed to keep up this intensity for the rest of the half and allowed Southampton back into the game, however they were unable to score in the first half.

The second half was a drab affair, a lot of chances but a lot of poor finishing. Southampton never looked like giving in and on the 83rd minute they threatened to spoil Hull City's party, Lacazette's powerful run past the Hull City defense and quick finish made it 2-1 however they were unable to add to that goal and Hull City ran out the winners.

Hull City - Zieler; Trasch, Isimat Mirin, Rojo, Arbeloa; Defour, Jucilei, Boateng; Cuenca, Di Natale ©, Cornelius.

Anderson gives WBA the lead

West Brom overcame defeat last week to Newcastle to snatch their first league win at Villa Park since 1979 after Felipe Anderson's early strike. However, Koke did miss a penalty. Albion captain Koke, 21, smiled: “The pen is my back garden, I think! I didn’t catch it well at all.

“It is disappointing and the manner in which I missed it as well. But we got the win and I was involved in the other two goals.

“I am sure I will get the mick taken out of me a bit though – but that’s life. I was in disbelief that it went that far wide – how you can miss the goal by that much from that close...

“I just didn’t strike the ball well. I am sure I will strike a better one next time.

Div 1

HULL CITY 2 SOUTHAMPTON 1

Saints lose...drop a place

Southampton's perfect start to the season came to an end at Hull - who deservedly took all three points.

Saints manager, The Butcher of Montevideo, decided to continue with the conservative 5-4-1 formation that had yielded a win at Swansea on match day 1.

It was the wrong decision.

Hull dominated the opening exchanges and had the game won within 20 minutes through strikes from Cornelius and Jucelei (MOM).

Saints desperately went into a more attacking mode for the second half, but the damage had been done and Hull held on to their advantage despite conceding a late goal to Lacazette.

The Butcher was in resigned mood after the game

I had a bad feeling about going with 5-4-1 from the start - but we'd won with that formation at Swansea and I thought I might regret it if we didn't stick with a winning system.

I've learned that we don't have the strength in defence to play for a low scoring win - so I have to go back to the policy of simply trying to outscore the opposition and take a few hits on the way.

The only positives from today is that we only dropped one place in the league. We face Norwich next who have had a tough start to the season. It's important for us to get back to winning ways and not let our good start fizzle away.

Onwards & Upwards for The Latics

Alberto-de-la-Bella-celebrando_54373320741_54115221155_600_244.jpg

(both goals were courtesy of Alberto de la Bella on the night)

Wigan Athletic 2 - 0 Leeds United

Wigan Athletic regained their momentum in their pursuit for top flight football on Thursday evening with a 2-0 home victory over Leeds United.

With the ever so predictable changes of 10, boss Carlos named a completely different side to his teams 6-1 defeat of Ipswich Town on Tuesday evening.

With a disappointing crowd of 18,479 (near enough 6,500 short of the DW capacity), Wigan fans turned up on a Thursday to see one thing and one thing only, another win.

The Latics faithful weren't to be disappointed too, as on 5 minutes, full back Alberto de le Bella opened the scoring after converting a Neymar assist to drive the ball low and in past a despairing Perin.

Throughout the game, Wigan dominated having 63% possession and 19 shots on goal.

Of those 19 shots, de la Bella was quick to find his scoring touch once again and bagged himself a brace on 87 minutes after Kone picked him out to score the simplest of goals.

Despite the victory and another 3 points, boss Carlos was said to be somewhat disappointed with the number of wasted chances during the game, saying that "we should have won by a far greater margin considering the work rate that was put in by the team, we can consider ourselves lucky. This wastefulness may well be the difference between 0pts and 3pts in future games. This is something we will need to work on that's for sure."

Wigan Athletic now find themselves in a more familiar territory within the automatic promotion places in 2nd on 15pts, just a solitary point of league leaders Watford.

Manchester-United-fans-001.jpg

Crowd trouble as Man United fans vent frustration at four straight losses.

Poor manager, City/Liverpool fan or Asian Match fixing syndicate, we look at the possible reasons for United's horrific start to the season.

Manchester United, bottom of the league. The sentence you'd never expect to hear is now a reality. Although only 4 games have been played there doesn't seem to be a win in sight for the Red Devils. Unknown manager Raz was chosen ahead of David Moyes for the Manchester United job and has had a disaster of a start losing four straight games and scoring only 2 goals. Turn back to last season and United had won 3/4 games scoring 10 goals in he process. A few rumours have been circulating with regards to why Manchester United have started so poorly and in this article we will take a little look.

Is Raz a poor manager? - One of the reasons being thrown around is that Raz isn't the calibre of manager needed to control such a huge club, his early boasts of how he was going to win the league have so far fallen flat. A social media campaign called #RazOut has been in and out of the Twitter trends over the past few days and the signs are that the Manchester United fans don't believe in Raz.

Is Raz purposely doing bad because he supports Liverpool or Manchester City? - Another rumour doing the rounds is that Raz is sabotaging United because he supports a rival, when asked on who he supported Raz refused to answer saying it 'isn't relevant' but we can exclusively confirm he does have Sky Blue bedroom walls.

Is Raz involved in a match fixing syndicate? - The final possibility is that Raz is involved with a match fixing syndicate in Asia, this seems like the most likely solution as I find it hard to believe anyone could start so badly with last years league winners, reports suggest Raz will dish some of the money to Messi as a reward for not scoring the goals needed to win however this isn't confirmed.

To conclude, Raz is a bad manager, a City fan and is match fixing for some big money. The bookies have Raz odds on to be sacked before Christmas and have installed Ryan Clarke as favourite for the job should it become vacant.

#RazOut

This is 100% not serious.

Top Class Penetration at the Deva

:P

After an awful sequence of 3 away games without a win, Chester FC are back in business. The "Chestnuts" certainly started slowly, but after foretyplay... whoops forty minutes of play, Seth Lark's men destroyed a hapless Macclesfield Town. Fabian Hurzeler headed the hosts in front after a pinpoint Vajebah Sakor free kick. Once the floodgates opened it didn't take long for a second goal to arrive. McGlashan of Town brought down Ryan Williams in the zone, making the ref point to the spot. Macclesfield thought it was a legitimate tackle, but they paid for the risk-taking. Gyasi Zardes belatedly converted the penalty to open his season account.

After the Americans set the tone, it was an Australian's turn to shine. Fulham loanee R. Williams curled the ball into Santiago Bezruk's path nicely, leading to his fellow loanee making it 3-0 with ease. Rock bottom Macclesfield fouled everything that moved, but it backfired greatly, Australian Williams getting his deserved goal, heading in another Sakor free kick.

While two loanees had a good day, the other certainly did not. Bismark-Adjei Boateng's injury put a damper on the celebrations. The biggest victim of Macclesfield fouling, the Ghanian injured his back while going for a high ball. His opponent tugged his shirt in midair, causing Boateng to fall hard.

Seth Lark was incredulous:

Good lord Macclesfield are the Chievo of Division 5, and that would be rather disrespectful to the Serie A team. They play a horrible game, making up for nonexistent technical skills by tackling everything that breathes oxygen. How was that foul [on Bismark] was not penalized? Fortunately, our youngsters faced this fouling with maturity, punishing them by capitalizing on dead ball situations. We are distraught by Bismark's injury but I believe Kathryn (Chester physio) will do a great job.

The win comes after Sasha Grey's appointment as a Psychologist.

Player morale is through the roof at Chester, as Seth Lark has turned a serious medical issue (increased bleeding from the nose area) amongst his players into an advantage. With early pacesetters Cambridge up next, followed by visiting Arsenal in the Cup, the California actress's appointment couldn't have come at a better time.

The biggest victim of Macclesfield fouling, the Ghanian injured his back while going for a high ball. His opponent tugged his shirt in midair, causing Boateng to fall hard.

Seth Lark was incredulous:

The win comes after Sasha Grey's appointment as a Psychologist.

Player morale is through the roof at Chester, as Seth Lark has turned a serious medical issue (increased bleeding from the nose area) amongst his players into an advantage. With early pacesetters Cambridge up next, followed by visiting Arsenal in the Cup, the California actress's appointment couldn't have come at a better time.

Right, I don't care what anyone says, this is border line soft p0rn!

Re: English Championship 28697 - Match Reports,Transfer news etc.

Adriano returns from his poorly timed holiday to realise his assistant has almost single handedly destroyed the club.

A NMF Grimsby side were first thrashed by Kidderminster and the assistant's choice XI also lost to Woking. Sandwiched between these poor results was a rare win against Aldershot.

"Hopefully we can now string some results together and perhaps climb this difficult table." - Adriano

Grimsby have slipped to 18th and now have one of the worst goal differences in the division (-6) which would be 0 if not for the frustration against Kiddy.

Next up for Grimsby is Mansfield at home in the cup. Their next league fixture is against Luton, also at home.

Division 5: Catch Up

Since the last review; the previous team in the spotlight Barnet have climbed to the top of the table and lead the pack with 16 points and a healthy 3 point gap over in form and unbeaten Lincoln and Forest Green as well as the mighty Chester. AFC Telford and Cambridge remain in strong contention, also.

And what of the previous leaders Hyde? Its been a miserable winless week for them as Jamie Tennant watches his side slip to 7th.

Elsewhere, manager-less Macclesfield remain bottom with only a single point to their name. The league's top performers is now accessible and leading the list is Kidderminster's Fernando Aristeguieta. Scott Spencer of Hyde remains the top scorer despite a mini drought.

Previews and Results reports will return to normal on Turn 6 where the spotlight will be on the league's two remaining unbeaten sides: Lincoln City and Forest Green Rovers.

Bournemouth Get Lucky Three Points

Bournemouth were hosting Sheffield Wednesday and even on there home ground Bournemouth were still classed as the underdogs, Bournemouth should be well used to the title as underdogs as the new boys into the league are finding it difficult to compete with the bigger teams and are living off the draws to keep them in this league, Manager Ciaran had to say :

"Were finding it a lot tougher than we expected and the chairman has re-evaluated his expectations for us, he now wants us to just stay in Division Two, which should be a lot easier than fight for promotion, I haven't made lots of signings but I find sign a few keep the main hub of the squad so morale stays higher and better chances of picking up points. It's been tough so far but we've got some decent draws and wins which are helping us out big time, where sitting at 17th five spots above the relegation zone and I'd love to finish 17th or above to end a good season but lots more games to go and we just got to hope for the best."

When we bet Sheffield Wednesday it was a normal game for us, we were under lots of pressure but our back line and keeper Coosemans really performed for us and helped us keep the clean sheet, are talented youngster Ryan Fraser who has now become a key man for us has really upped his game and scored the only goal for us and helped the cause, Bournemouth were outplayed the whole game but we just made the most of our chances and the back five were amazing, we also held off Doncaster and Leicster City for 0-0 draws, so five points out of three games we will take that all year long.

Ryan Fraser has no become a key man for Bournemouth this season and has upped his game and played a vital role for Bournemouth in picking up there first three points in three games.

Grimsby Town Pull off Minor Shock

Among the fixtures for the 1st round of the FA Cup; Grimsby vs Mansfield was by no means the most glamorous. However, the result will be very satisfactory for the Conference side who managed to topple the League 2 outfit with thanks to a penalty shootout.

Captain and keeper Kadu showed he has the Kan-do attitude as he kept out the Mansfield players for most of the 90 minutes and then the first 2 penalties in the shootout. Top scorer Ferrante also added to his tally with a smooth finish.

"It's worth pointing out that the opposition weren't exactly fielding their strongest XI and Monro's side did just as well to bring the game past normal time. Nonetheless, its a good result for us and we must now use it as a stepping stone in the league. Let's hope this is a positive sign of progression." - Adriano

Grimsby will be hoping for a big team in the second round to not only test themselves against but to also bring in some much needed cash for the lowly club.

A trip to a big stadium or just filling up Blundell Park would satisfy Adriano who now eagerly awaits the next round.

Grimsby Town 1 - 1 Mansfield Town (4 - 1 on Penalties)
