Changes needed in F(RLC) position

Recommended Posts

I think there is a bit of confusion specifically about the 4-2-3-1 formation and the F(RLC) position. Players like Van Persie, Benzema, Higuain, Cavani, Luis Suarez, and David Villa can and have played on the flanks of a 4-2-3-1 either in their club or national sides.

But in SM they are not allowed to do so with the F(RLC) position. Either enable that position to play there, or add an AM(RL) to their positions. I hope this post doesn't get buried down because I think this is an important change.

Re: Changes needed in F(RLC) position

I think they played as a wide forward in a 433.

Well I watch every Real Madrid game and I am absolutely certain Benzema and Higuain have played on the flanks of Mourinho's 4-2-3-1 a few times.

As far as Van Persie goes' date=' the Dutch national team uses 4-2-3-1 and he also plays on the flanks sometimes. http://i.imgur.com/q4zWWgV.jpg

As far as Cavani and Luis Suarez goes, Uruguay tends to experiment on various formations but both of them have also played on the flanks of a 4-2-3-1.

As far as David Villa goes, I think you're right that he plays wide on a 4-3-3.

Agree with this :)

Well with the exception of Cavani..who can play almost anywhere.

Mate' date=' please look at the screenshots that I posted in my second post. The evidence is there.

I did mate...but dont agree with 'em

The Dutch & Uraguay formation is down to interpretation. I see them more as a 4-2-1-3..with wide forwards rather than wingers.

Its only my opinion dude, but I dont class any of those strikers as wingers. I mean whens the last time youve seen any of those players bursting down the wing like Ginola, Overmars or Robben?

I completely understand your point mate, my point is formations are fluid, players don't stand around. A 4-3-3 could easily be a 4-5-1 on defense. These players can and have played there. Is it really that hard to edit an entry? Is it really that much of a difference?

agreed. But the most important question is. Is SM listening?

Re: Changes needed in F(RLC) position

They can play there, true, but it ain't their best positions. That's why they are yellow instead of red or green. You can still play them there if you like or don't have any similair rated players (let's say you play 4-2-3-1 and you got van Persie and Hernandez as forwards, and other then that just 86 rated am's, just play van Persie as an am, he will still do better then the 86 rated players.
