Re: Guaranteed Risers/Money Spinners

You found him or you took credit of finding him after looking at my rating changes thread about Mexico? :eek::confused::rolleyes:

Anyways' date=' I would like to put a few names here just for a small tip of risers from my Mexican Rating Changes Thread. The players here are just from the teams I have scouted (I think it was 11 teams) and I won't do any more so there are still more talents and risers to be unearthed. All of the risers below will have a rating change of at least three...

[b']Xavier Baez[/b] 83-->87

Edgar Solis 80-->85

Jesus Morales 70-->75

Rodolfo Salinas 78-->84

Omar Monjaraz 84-->87

Pablo Zeballos 84-->87

Gabino Velasco 78-->82

Edgar Lugo 82-->86

Edgar Andrade 80-->84

Yosgart Gutierrez 78-->83

Osmar Marses 80-->85

Edgar Gonzalez 81-->84

Itamar 84-->87

Eduardo Chavez 74-->77

William Paredes 80-->84

Luis Alberto Valdes 73-->76

Luis Francisco Garcia 82-->85

Jose Francisco Torres 75-->82

Edy Brambilla 78-->82

Sergio Perez 74-->84

Mario Ortiz 81-->85

Nestor Vidrio 74-->85

Gerardo Flores 80-->86

Omar Flores 80-->85

Ricardo Jimenez 76-->84

Daniel Marquez 70-->75

This is a very good post and just to tell you Tom has not been too optimistic. I only looked into those players in red and i agree with all. Xavier Baez has played as much as Omar Bravo in the Clausura after not appearing too many times in the Apertura. Since Guadalajara finished first even an 88 isnt out of the question:eek:, great mention Tom. Nestor Vidrio is another and Alvin has made a very good thread on him with loads of information. Néstor VIDRIO -Mexican talent & riser!

. Good work Alvin. Sergio Perez also played regularly and Ricardo Jimenez started most games towrads the end of the Clausura after only playing once in the Apertura. So buy those mentioned in this post if you already havent!! Another good thread is Mexican ratings by Rooster, plenty of detailed information and the lad knows what hes talking about:D ;).

Re: Guaranteed Risers/Money Spinners

Malaury MARTIN is a Guaranteed riser and has long term potential. He played 7 games for French club Monaco towards the end of the season. He is only rated 72 so very underrated now. Great buy for only 50K... Will be very interesting to see if he starts next season.

Just had a quick scan through the French Div 2 which started this weekend. There are lots of 60-75 rated players who started there first game... If they keep it up I will report on them nearer the time.

Taken from my Russian Risers thread:

Sergey NARUBIN, 26 years old, G, Currently rated 78

Amkar, First XI rated - 86/87

454 minutes, 5 starts, ****Only Keeper in the first team****

Rise from 78 ---> 84

Denis GLUSHAKOV, 21 years old, CM, Currently rated 72

Lokomotiv Moskva, First XI rated - 87-90

362 minutes, 4 starts, 4 subs

Rise from 72 ---> 79/80

*****My tip*****

Alan DZAGOEV, 18 years old, CM/AM, Currently rated 75

CSKA Moskva, First XI rated - 89-92

410 minutes, 6 starts, 2 subs

Rise from 75 ---> 82

****Super Buy****

Aleksandr MARENICH, 19 years old, CF, Currently rated 67

FK Moskva, First X1 rated - 87/87

206 Minutes, 2 starts, 6 subs

Rise from 67 ---> 77

Re: Guaranteed Risers/Money Spinners

I'll ask here as this is where I first found out about him:

Cheik TIOTE - he just went up +1 on 9th August 08 and I've had a bid from a Bayern Munich team for £7m (£2m over his sm value) is he someone to keep hold of or sell? I see he's at FC twente - wouldnt that be fairly limting in terms of ratings unless he makes a move elsewhere and proves himeself?

For me a £7M offer seems fair. Even if Tiote (currently 86) plays all season I think he would probably only rise to an 87 at maximum 88. Fact is he isn't the best 22 year old, rated 86 you could have on your books.

I would sell him, if you want a replacement, i'd part exchange him for either of these 22/86 players:

> Daniel Osvaldo of Fiorentina (I predict rise to 87/88) or

> Claudio Marchisio of Juventus (I predict rise to 87)

Re: Guaranteed Risers/Money Spinners

There are some threads on Italy and Spain already' date=' but if anyone wants I can post some 'guaranteed' Italian and Spanish risers. I don't tend to bother much with this thread now as we have so many excellent 'scouts' I don't need to post :D[/quote']

That would be awesome, your predictions are very reliable.

Cheers

Re: Guaranteed Risers/Money Spinners

There is already a Spanish thread here but as I said I would do it, here we go...

I tend to be conservative. I welcome any disagreement; I am utterly fallible. :) I am not claiming any of these as 'my' finds and neither do I care if anyone claims them as theirs after this is posted :D I can't imagine there will be too many surprises here for the active forumer, but I hope this helps someone....

Spain

Valencia

Brito RENAN GK, 23yo, 86>88

Whilst Hildebrand (91) is currently injured for La Liga's table toppers, Renan has only conceded 4 goals in the opening 8 league games and has played every minute. He started ahead of Hildebrand in September when Hildebrand was fit. He also played 10 games for Internacional in Brazil prior to joining Valencia.

MATA, Juan Manuel Wing/Fwd, 20yo, 87>89

Has formed a lethal partnership with 94 (soon to be 95, I expect) rated David Villa. The stats also sing his praises; with him being a feature in all 8 games this season, in a team where first XI rating is (not including himself, Renan and Alexis; who is also a good buy) about 91.

Barcelona

SERGIO BUSQUETS, Burgos CM/DM, 20yo, 75>84

Tricky to call in terms of rating, but I think an 84 would be the minimum. I won't labour over him as he is well known already on this forum. If he has not already been bought in your setup then a) buy him B) think about joining a new setup as everyone else in it must be asleep :)

Real Madrid

DE LA RED, Ruben CM-DM, 24y/o, 89>90

He is a regular for Real Madrid (7 out of 8 in the league; starting 5), and has picked up international caps (none that recently, to be fair) as well as some recent Champions League experience. He has more minutes under his belt than Guti, (92), Sneijder (93), and Gago (91) so an increase to 90 seems more than justified.

Villareal

LLORENTE, Joseba CF, 28yo, 88 > 90

Not to be confused with Fernando Llorente, of the same rating. I must admit I was hopping mad not to see him get an increase last time Spain was reviewed. He finished in the goal scoring charts ahead of Van Nistelrooy (96), Eto'o (96), Forlan (93), Kanoute (94), Milito (93), Henry (95). He was some way from top goal scorer, true, but then he was playing for Valladolid (finished 15th) and averaging a goal every other game. Now got a move to high flying Villareal. 4 goals in 8 starts; so his strike rate continues. Champions League experience now, and even a CL hatrick in the game against the admittedly weak AaB. Deserves more attention.

Sevilla

DAVID PRIETO, Gálvez CB. 25yo, 86 > 88

Much less well known, but thoroughly recommended, is David Prieto. Got a good run at the end of last season (8 consecutive games, 7 as a starter). He has started 5 this season for 3rd place Sevilla out of 8, and also appeared in the UEFA cup. Surprised people are not talking about him more; he has been playing ahead of some well known names and is now a definite squad player for a side in great form and with great ratings.

Malaga

PABLO de Barros LB/LM , 20yo, 78>83

Malaga have hit a good patch of form of late, and Pablo has played 5 games (4 starts) for them out of 8. He has also played 12 games for Vasco de Gama in 2008, starting 9 of those, and also bagging numerous appearances in the Copa do Brasil. He is a definite squad player though, I think he has been on the bench when not starting.

ARNAU, Francesc Gk, 33, 81>85

Has taken the position of starting keeper and 81, clearly, is too low for the keeper of a mid table La Liga side. Malaga as mentioned are doing quite well so far too. As far as I know, their previous keeper, Goitia, is not injured and has simply lost his place - but I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong. He had a great game at the weekend, too.

ELISEU, Pereira W, 25yo, 82 > 85

Similar story to Arnau, this rating is too low for a player involved in all of Malaga's games. He has started 5 and appeared in 2 more games as a sub, out of 8 games in the league. He also played 37 times (mostly as a sub) last season in Malaga's successful promotion campaign, so has plenty of experience and has broken into a side now on another level.

Calleja, Jesus Gamez, Baha, and Adrian also only going to go up in rating this time.

Almeria

JULIO ALVAREZ, Mosquera AM, 27yo, 84>86

Ok, so Almeria got smashed at the weekend by Barcelona, but they have been punching over their weight for two seasons now. Julio Alvarez was a key part of Numancia’s promotion, and has played every minute now for Almeria, whose team is rated between 87 and 89. I think he was too low going into the season (Segunda is very decent) and certainly is too low now.

CHICO, José Manuel , CB/DM, 21yo, 74>82

Played all but one league game this season, and is clearly underrated. I think as this is his breakout season and early days in La Liga SM will be fairly conservative and place him a little below the 85 mark of an established low level La Liga player; hence the prediction. Definitely worth buying. Recently played for the U-21's in the Euro qualifier against Switzerland.

Sporting Gijon

CUELLAR, Iván Gk, 24yo, 82>85

After Sergio Sanchez conceded a whopping 19 goals in 4 games, he was replaced with Cuellar who has helped the side turn their season - they have now conceded just 2 goals in 4 games, one of which was in a narrow 1-0 defeat to high flying Villareal (their only defeat since he came in), the other in a 2-1 win over Osasuna. He has bags of experience in the Segunda with Eibar too. Should easily make an 85.

FRANCISCO NERU, Borja, LB/CB, 34yo, 79>82

Neru has a long history in Spanish football, and whilst he may not be about to create waves, he has started the last 4 games (5 appearances altogether) and will get a small rise this time round. I think he will see quite a bit of match time for Sporting. Not a money spinner but could be a good signing for less rich clubs.

Also worth a look are Rafael Sastre, and Luis Moran (those are their surnames).

Espanyol

BÉRANGER, Grégory, LB/CB, 27yo, 84>85/86

Plucked from Numancia's promotion winning side, Beranger has started 6 of 8 league games. Espanyol established themselves last season as a decent side, and started well. Although their form of late has not been great, they will be aiming for a top half finish, and Beranger should see plenty of match time.

Deportiva

LAURE, Sanabria RB, 23yo, 75>80

Deportivo may struggle a bit this season, but Laure will see a rating increase. Has not started the last few, but 4 starts from the first 8 games, plus some UEFA cup exposure, means 75 is definitely too low.

Racing Santander

IVAN MARCANO, Sierra LB/CB, 21yo, 77>83

Racing have started poorly, but Ivan Marcano has played 10 of their games 11 games in all competitions - the exception being the UEFA cup tie in September against FC Honka. 8 league starts and 2 in the UEFA cup means, despite the poor form, the rating must change. He also had a few appearances last season, in the league and the Copa del Rey. This is all very great news for his rating, of course, and his long term prospects of future increases are also excellent. Whether or not he keeps Luis Fernandez at bay, when he returns from injury, remains to be seen.

Jonathan Pereira also worth a look (again, that’s his last name, not first & last name).

Recreativo Huelva

ADRIÁN COLUNGA, Pérez, Fwd/Wing, 23yo, 82>84

Scored plenty for Las Palmas last season, and has now appeared in all games so far. 5 starts, 3 as a sub. Whilst his lack of goals in La Liga dampens the rating potential for now, 82 is a bit low for a proven Segunda goalscorer.

Athletic Bilbao

MIKEL BALENZIAGA, Oruesagasti, LB, 20yo, 74>81

Has money spinner written all over him. The right back has started 7 of 8 games for Bilbao in his breakout season. His club look set to struggle again this season, but he will get an excellent increase.

Ion Velez (another two part last name on SM) also worth a little increase.

Osasuna

OIER SANJURJO, Maté RB, 22yo, 74>79

Propping up the league and yet to win, Osasuna have started poorly. At this rate, Oier could be playing Segunda football next season, but 4 starts out of the last 5 means he will get a decent increase now that he has broken through from Osasuna's B team.

Re: Guaranteed Risers/Money Spinners

Top notch teb, not that I'm surprised. Good to see you back predicting ratings, i haven't seen it for a while and it's a big miss for all forumers.

On topic, I really hope Llorente gets 90 cause I think he deserves it for his consistent performances over past seasons. It's going to be very very difficult for him to break into the national team, so they shouldn't take a 90 rating away just because Spain have the likes of Villa, Bojan, and of course Fernando!

Can you do one for Italian league or is that being too cheeky :P?
