Giovanni is a son of the legendary Argentine international and currently the manager of Atletico Madrid – Diego Simeone. Since his early years, he was seen as a very talented player. He played in the youth national teams and recently he has been invited to train with Albicelestes first squad. He has impressed in the pre-season training camp and thanks to that, he made his debut in River Plate first team on August 4th in a league match against Gimnasia. Just a week later, he had a key assist for the only goal against Rosario and it looks like his position in the team is getting stronger by the day.
