Club-Leverkusen

Nation-Germany

On DB-Yes Rated 77

So Levin is a player who seems to have slipped under a lot of peoples radars recently and has moved to Leverkusen form Hamburg over the summer where he was rated very very highly,he was attracting interest from Bayern before his move to Leverkusen.

Levin Mete Öztunalı is a German-Turkish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Bayer Leverkusen. His father is Turkish and his mother is German, a daughter of Uwe Seeler. He made his Bundesliga debut on 10 August 2013.

He was born in Hamburg and joined the youth set-up of Hamburger SV, or HSV, when he was ten.

He can play almost every position in midfield. He has technique and vision. He is a member of Germany’s Under-17 team. His father, the Turk Mete Öztunali, is a youth coach and talent scout. Until October 2010, this was by and large everything the public knew about the kid, which is why he was left alone and in peace. But then the tabloid “Bild” revealed that Levin’s mother was none other than

Frauke Seeler, the daughter of Uwe Seeler. Uwe Seeler is the biggest legend in HSV history, a national icon and one of only four men who are held in such high esteem that they have been made Honorary Captains of the German national team. (The three others are Fritz Walter, Lothar Matthäus and Franz Beckenbauer).

HSV has hinted that Levin Öztunali’s decision to join Leverkusen in the summer has primarily to do with money. But that seems unlikely considering how closely the family is linked with the club. There is little reason to doubt Mete Öztunali, who says: “Figures didn’t play a role for us. There is a convincing sporting perspective at Leverkusen, more convincing than the one offered by Hamburg. That is why we agreed to the deal.

He has represented Germany at every level barring U-21 and the full squad

Another nice write up. Have made a bid for him.
