Re: FA Cup

If McLeod doesn't get a three-match ban, there's no justice in this world. What he did was disgusting.

Great win for Northwich, at least Sky got one of their live games right. :D So frustrating watching those Northwich defenders panic and just boot it out at the end, but they hung on, credit to them.

We've drawn Kettering away. Not a good draw at all. I'd rather have had a home draw, or failing that another League 1 side. Not away, on an awful pitch, to a high-flying non-league team brimming with confidence.

Just like last year, we've beaten a L1 team in the first round, before drawing a BSP team away doing well in their league who knocked out L1 opposition in their first round. Chances are this'll be live as well, what with our record of being giant-killed.

All the action came in the final thirty really, with Kettering taking the lead and then Leeds going all out attacking (before scoring and then sitting back ). So much great defending from Kettering and some great saves from Harper.

As for "bragging rights", would you really have much to brag about beating a League 1 team?

Re: FA Cup

Fifth round draw:

Southampton v Portsmouth

Reading v West Bromwich Albion

Fulham v Notts County or Wigan Athletic

Chelsea v Cardiff City

Bolton Wanderers v Tottenham Hotspur or Leeds United

Derby County v Birmingham City

Manchester City v Stoke City

Wolverhampton Wanderers or Crystal Palace v Aston Villa

Surprisingly Chelsea draw lower league opposition again. How lucky have they been with their cup draws over the last couple of seasons? :P

Re: FA Cup

Chelsea better slip up against Cardiff' date=' its good watching the FA Cup with no PL teams in it. Or we should put all the lower teams in the Carling Cup :)[/quote']

No, what it should be is from like Round 1 or qualifying, Thats when Prem and Champ sides should come in, not like conference north and south etc, cause they make it through qualifying then get dumped out by teams reserves lol.

And they'd get more revenue from tickets and tv games.

Re: FA Cup

Clyde Tyldesley:

"Quincy Owusu-Abeyie puts Portsmouth ahead, and it may turn out to be one of the most important goals in Portsmouth's modern history. If Portsmouth end up winning this south-coast derby, Owusu-Abeyie will never be forgotten."

Oh dear. Where does he get this stuff from?

And as I speak, So'ton make it 1-1. B)

Don't you have a replay against Spurs? And Chelsea are still in it.

Oh christ, just noticed this post. You surely don't think I was being serious do you?
