Return of the Legend

Kazu Miura will soon celebrate his 47th birthday and it's real honor for Yokohama to have him again in their team - he has to finish his career among Marines ;)

We're also proud to present two more names which will guide us throughout this season:

A lot is expected from two Serbian talents - Andrija Zivkovic and Ivan Saponjic. In other transfer news, Yokohama will, in future, concentrate on bringing in players from Japan, Korea and China (maybe Australia) - let the games begin! ;)

English Star Makes Big Money Switch!

With young English manager Mattuie Beckett in charge it seems the sky is the limit for Japan club Oita Trinita who this week won 2-0 in there managers first game in charge but the big news was the coop of English DM Tom Huddlestone on a two year deal worth 28k a week, the 27 year old who had been linked with Tottenham and Sunderland took the chance to show off his tallents in training this week and with manager Mattuie Beckett paying a reported eight million for the 27 year old the fans seem happy to see a big name join. Also joining the Japan club was Brazil center half Borges Breno on a three year deal and ex Arsenal center half Mickael Silvestre also signed a four year deal with the club. Manager Beckett has said he is hoping to prove his worth in Japan and with a signing like this and a opening game like he has had he has said its only a matter of time before more big names take notice of the club and try to join his squad.
