Re: European Dream

Bayern München beat Barcelona 2 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture.

Schweinsteiger scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Alaba was also on the scoresheet for his side.

A great win which sees us stretch our lead at the top to 3 points now. Just over half way through the season in defence of our title.

Also have an obscene amount of money to spend but money really is redundant in this set up now.

Re: European Dream

Griezmann goal secures first 3 points for new manager

Tottenham Hotspur outclassed Chelsea and beat them 1 - 0 in their Division 1 fixture.

Griezmann was on the scoresheet for his side.

Griezmann scored and secured all 3 points in what looks like to be his last game for Spurs.

Its is believed that Griezmann is on his way to Liverpool in a p/e deal seeing Sturridge and Shawcross plus just over £2m heading our way. Also part of the deal we have agreed that Ashley Young will be joining Spurs for £12m.

Spurs deals please manager Veigas

Spurs welcome Shawcross, Phil Jones, Welbeck, Young, Walcott and Sturridge to White Hart Lane.

Going out are Griezmann, Schneiderlin and Sterling.

Plans going nicely for Spurs at the time being, although we lose 1 English man in Sterling, we bring in 6 English men which should make the match days easier as to sticking to gw regulations and adds very good quality in depth.

Still open to offers on other players, as I said before if you offer English blood in deals then I'm more likely to listen but not necessarily accept...

Im very happy to get Sterling. Welbeck and Jones is a pretty fair deal too.

In addition to deals above...

Jan VERTONGHEN has completed his move to Barcelona from Tottenham Hotspur for £19,305,000 plus Gerard DEULOFEU

In addition to that deal also sees Mateus Kelvin joining Spurs for CV value of £2.4m.

Another 2 youths for the Spurs Youth Squad, and a nice juicy £19m to bring in more youth talent or assist me in signing a big name...

The match ended 2 - 2 between Shakhtar Donetsk and Arsenal in their Division 2 fixture.

Badelj scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Fernando was also on the scoresheet for his side.

More possession 57/43, but 8 Vs 17 shots, with 3 Vs 13 on target

 ... we'll take a point ...:D

Re: European Dream

Manchester United 1 - 0 Bayer Leverkusen

Leverkusen lost at limit against United on Old Trafford in Manchester.

Ivan Rakitic scored the single goal of the encounter, after a free-kick.

The Germans had to press their opponents, but De Gea was in great form.

New signing Wilfried Bony entered after one hour, debuting for Leverkusen.

Also Luis Nani was sent into game, but the Portuguese couldn't score either.

Stefan Kiessling ended the match with an injury and will miss next turn.

Re: European Dream

Dede for Bony lol

Yes, it sounds totally bogus. Both aren't 90 rated and 26 years old or anything... :P

Not to mention high rated defenders are more rare than high rated offensive players in SM. And my team was more in need of good defenders than good offensive players.

Just a question, dude: have you by any chance ever watched Dedé play? :o

Re: European Dream

Leverkusen vs. Napoli

Match Preview

Another hard encounter tonight for the Germans, but this time on home ground.

From the total of 3 matches played against each other, both teams won once

and one game ended in a draw on San Paolo at the beginning of this season.

Stefan Kiessling (inj.) and Aleksandar Kolarov (susp.) can't play in this match.

Wilfried Bony is rumored to be on the starting lineup for this important meeting.

There is still unknown who will start on the left-back position: Indi or Montoya.

Leverkusen are facing their Italian rivals this evening on BayArena.

Leverkusen manager Mark M. declared for the media earlier this morning:

"We need to get back in form and win tonight, a draw is out of discussion

in this moment for us because SL Benfica are at four points distance..."

Just another day at the office, still top of the table of course.

Re: European Dream

Spurs get smashed but still not worried. We might well get relegated this season but we will bounce back in time.

There is no way we will be competing for anything at the top looking at squads around us but this is a long term challenge so things will change.

Re: European Dream

Bayer Leverkusen 2 - 2 SSC Napoli

[boateng, Nani - Rami, Perisic]

Another 2-2 draw between Leverkusen and Napoli, this time on BayArena.

A bad result for the Germans, considering they are still on the last place.

Adil Rami and Ivan Perisic were the scorers for the Italian team,

while Kevin Boateng and Luis Nani scored for Bayer last evening.

Roman Eremenko entered in the second half, but the Finnish midfielder

ended the match in pains because of an injury; will be out for 10 days.

Matija Nastasic received a red card for a bad challenge on Nuri Sahin

in the last minutes of the game and the Serbian will miss next game.

MOTM Kevin Prince Boateng has two goals and one assist this season.
