Just another day at the office. Not enough superlatives in the world to describe how good we are at the moment.

Re: The International Club Championship

In division 1 Penarol have a good start to the season, only being eclipsed by Basel and the all conquering Dortmund. We are sitting in 3rd spot at the halfway stage 4 points clear of 4th.

In transfer news: Penarol have seen a massive overhaul of the squad after the chairman gave us some extra money to spend. So 14 players have left us and 14 players have joined the team in what is a huge improvement to our squad. Most notably:

Caceres 89

Stuani 87

Lodeiro 86

Lugano 88

Giminez 83

Cristoforo 84

Looking to carry on our good form to carry us into 2nd spot (especially if Recoba can keep scoring the goals), as champions looks like a step too far for us with Dortmund leading the way.

I've never seen a goalkeeper got a 4 before. But today it happened.

Why SM game engine make my goalkeepers so bad? :o

Still unbeaten but it seems 8 league wins on the bounce was a bridge to far.

Well this was as comprehensive as it comes. Still undefeated with only one blot on the card which was a draw. Very pleased with the way this season has gone so far but Basel are only 5 points behind.

Matthew Webb (matt72 Forums) steered Borussia Dortmund to victory against Paris Saint-Germain.

Borussia Dortmund outclassed Paris Saint-Germain and thrashed them 6 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture.

Can was impressive and scored a hat-trick, later being voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Ducksch and Nyarko were also amongst the goalscorers.

Just another day at the office.

After their result against Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund are now unbeaten in 13 games setting a new club record for most games unbeaten in a row.

Looking for an unbeaten season only Real Madrid are doing better in this set up but they are in a league full of nobodies so they don't count.

Borussia Dortmund have recorded their biggest ever away league win by beating Paris Saint-Germain 1 - 6.

Against such an inpet manager it is the team I feel sorry for. :P

Re: The International Club Championship

Drew with Closer 2-2 tonight and with it still remain undefeated in the league this season and could still finish 2nd with Basel only 5 points behind failing to capitalise on our draw by drawing themselves.

Re: The International Club Championship

Thanks to Benfica for beating Basel after my Dortmund got an ass kicking at the hands of AIK. 2 games to go and 5 points ahead we could have wrapped it up tonight, but we felt sorry for AIK so took a chance and let them win. If you believe that then your a bigger idiot than I was for not changing my formation.
