Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense.

Matthew Webb (matt72 Forums) steered Fulham to victory against Luton Town.

Fulham outclassed Luton Town and beat them 4 - 0 in their Division 3 fixture.

Markovic scored a brace and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

García and Gustavo were also amongst the goalscorers.

A game we should have won and thankfully we did. Thankfully since it is one of two games I have won tonight out of about a dozen so far.

KJ KJ earned a draw with Exeter City against Preston North End.

The match ended 1 - 1 between Exeter City and Preston North End in their Division 4 fixture.

Ji was on the scoresheet for his side.

After their result against Preston North End, Exeter City are now unbeaten in 5 games setting a new club record for most games unbeaten in a row. :D:D

Its great to set a new club record, But we have to start winning games! Its 11 points from Playoff spot now and 11 games to go.

Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense.

Another good win for Stockport against a very strong Reading team. Seems the new signings are doing their job and shoring up the defence as well as Larrondo doing the business up top with 3 goals in 5 games and 2 assists. It was Julian Green who took the game to Reading though with two goals and the man of the match award.

With the win Stockport have set a new record, a mighty 4 games unbeaten haha!

Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense.

Let me just bring some of you up to speed, if you haven't already read my message in the game world.

The second manager to be offered the Brighton position (Dharmesh of Wrexham) accepted. He then left Wrexham, joined Brighton..............then left Brighton.

I have decided to continue to the 3rd manager, this is currently on offer to them now.

Joe - hang tight, you will be in very soon.

Everyone else, if you know of anybody that would want to join us, please put the word out.

I would ideally, like to get another gaffer in, in addition to Joe to atleast keep both Divs 3 and 4 full.

Cheers

B)

That's hilarious, while also being a facepalm worthy moment

Matthew Webb (matt72 Forums) steered Fulham to victory against Bristol Rovers.

Fulham outclassed Bristol Rovers and beat them 3 - 1 in their Division 3 fixture.

Arnold scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Rode and Ogbonna were also amongst the goalscorers

With the chasing pack slipping up, Fulham now sit comfortably in second place 6 points ahead of Stoke City. Some tricky games coming up could make or break our promotion aspirations.

KJ KJ was unable to prevent a Exeter City defeat to AFC Bournemouth.

Exeter City slumped to a 2 - 1 defeat to AFC Bournemouth in their Division 4 fixture.

Bianco was on the scoresheet for his side.

We have put up a Good fight, and almost got a result today. Playing away from away against a top 5 team is always difficult. Anyway, we are satisfied with the team effort. And Congrats to AFC Bournemouth.

Playoffs seems like a mission impossible now :(:(

Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense.

Another nice win for Stockport over a team around the same position in the league as us, albeit slightly stronger in ratings. A second clean sheet for Abbiati and only conceding one goal in three matches makes a nice change from the inconsistent Di Gennaro.

A strong showing with possession helped Stockport to control the game and two freekicks from Zivkovic got us the win.

Yet another record was smashed by Stockport with a huge turn out at Edgeley Park of 10,641 :P

Thanks buddy:) , keep trying for playoffs league is so tight and a run can get you so close.

From our point of view another win 4 in a row against yet more challenging opposition, so got to be happy, still 4th and will see how we finish now. Reus has given us a lift and got the goal along with Arda Turan.

Matthew Webb (matt72 Forums) steered Fulham to victory against Leyton Orient.

Fulham beat Leyton Orient 2 - 0 in their Division 3 fixture.

García scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Markovic was also on the scoresheet for his side.

Only top 6 team to have won tonight with the other 5 losing so thanks for that lads :P. After our drop in form a few weeks back we have now won our last 4 league games and close the gap on Bolton at the top to 2 points and increase our lead over 3rd placed Stoke to 9 points with 9 games to go promotion is ours to lose.

Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense.

Stockport have extended their unbeaten streak to 6 games now with a run of 4 wins, heady heights for little old Stockport. Coming by the way of a 1-0 win over Stoke City, the team I should of had :P

Could a push for the playoffs be on the cards?! Only 4 points off Swansea in 6th!

With 19 points now between us and 18th placed Bradford i'm hopeful that our season's goal of staying out of relegation is on the cards.
