Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense.

joao moutinho ronaldinho has guided Swansea City to a TCO92 Shield Final win against Cambridge United!! Swansea City deserved to beat Cambridge United 6 - 0 in a sensational final to lift the trophy.

Drogba scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Motta and Mesto were also amongst the goalscorers.

Looks like I'm up for another job offer :D

Shame there was no manager though.

Wow, those 3 teams are now safe from being ruined like Swansea

Phew :D

Haha, I know how envious you are of my Swansea side :P

Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense.

Been struggling over recent weeks:o' date=' so decided to dip into the transfer market.

Cardiff have signed Asmir BEGOVIĆ, Fábio COENTRÃO & Juan CUADRADO, hopefully this will assist with our target of promotion.[/quote']

How i wish, Exeter could afford those players ;););) Love Cuadrado.. He had a great world cup..

Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense.

Wow. A couple of good sides in there.

Yep, and it would be great if plymouth gets one of them..

But my only choice is Arsenal, as I won't manage City, Chelsea, United, Liverpool, or Tottenham.

Everton and Southampton are the next best sides, but my Swansea already has a first team and a good young second team.

Matthew Webb (matt72 Forums) steered Fulham to victory against Sunderland.

Fulham outclassed Sunderland and beat them 1 - 0 in their Division 3 fixture.

Gustavo scored the winner for Fulham and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Managed to dominate in terms of possession against a stronger Sunderland side and got our just rewards, also closing the gap on top of the table Bolton to 3 points.

A great away win today for Exeter City:D:D . 4th win in a row now. 10th in Div 4 but still 12 points away from playoffs spot. ;)

KJ KJ steered Exeter City to victory against Wrexham.

Exeter City outclassed Wrexham and beat them 2 - 1 in their Division 4 fixture.

Fathi had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match.

Accam was on the scoresheet for his side.

Exeter City have now won 4 games in a row after beating Wrexham setting a new club record.

Well done mate, but tbf I had much more shots and shots on target.

I should have used a counter-formation that usually works, but that would mean taking out Pazzini (89) and letting in Brandt (82).

Live and learn, I guess. :o

Good luck for the rest of the season and you'll definitely earn your promotion.

As for Sunderland, my priority for these 1st seasons is gradually building a stronger squad, with the hope of getting better results in the future. :)

A miserable draw on a must win game. I am getting very frustrated with this...

:mad::confused::(

At least we did not lose. I would certainly lose my rag in the dressing room if we had. No air drier treatment, more like full blown Hurricane Katrina with spittle and everything...:D

Perfect time for you to take a certain Gabigol ;)

The cups and shields are done. My players can finally go out on loan again.

Speaking of loans, Stoke asked me for Gertmonas (a 73 GK) on loan.

I still can't understand why, but of course I accepted it (why wouldn't I?). :D

Haha, the unmanaged teams do that.

ShaneMcG and Nikidinho........you ready for your job offers this weekend?

YES! :D

Back to winning ways although at a significant cost, two injuries and a suspension mean my very small squad is at breaking point. Thanks to Nikidinho at least i have a good FC to play now, hopefully Mexes will be fit enough to play as well.

A 2-1 win stretches our unbeaten streak to 9 games now, can we make it to double figures! More importantly we have officially completed our main goal for the season, avoided relegation. 22 points clear of the drop with only 18 points left to pick up :D

Yes but the fact I dominated possession would suggest that many of your shots were long range speculative efforts.

I honestly don't think anyone can come to that conclusion Matt, also because we don't get to watch the match in 2 or 3D. :D

Plus, possession is only good if you do sth positive with it.

You clearly did, coz you won.

And at the end of the day, goals are the only relevant stat. :o

Btw good luck in the title fight, mate!

Your promotion is pretty much a sure thing at this point and I believe you can still win Division 3.

Hopefully I'll be able to give you a little help with that, coz I still have to play Bolton and, like in every match, I'll try to win. :)

Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense.

Right then' date=' here we go.

As you all know, both Nikidinho (Swansea) and Shane McG (Plymouth) have triggered a job offer each. Congratulations to you both once again.

Rather than use the traditional random generator method (which I used when the game world opened), I want to give complete transparency over such an important aspect of this set-up, the high (Div 1 & 2) level job offer.

As Nikidinho is eagerly awaiting to learn which club(s) require his services, I will tomorrow start by offering him an opportunity to take on a new club from within Div 1 and 2, as like ShaneMcG, he has earned this. ShaneMcG - I will let you know when it is your turn.

During the Leicester v Man Utd match (22/09/14) which kicks off at 13:30 BST, the allocation process begins. Nikidinho will be offered 3 clubs, which he can wait to learn all 3 before choosing (as opposed to the original stick or twist) which one he wants to take over, if any that is.

You will notice the teams from both Div 1 and 2 below have been numbered, 1-40. Whenever there is a yellow card or goal, Nikidinho will have a club (up to a max of 3) added to his 3 to choose from based on what time that yellow card or goal is.

Say for example, there is a yellow card or goal on 33 seconds (1), then that is Man Utd (team 1) added to the list to choose from. Or say if there is a yellow card or goal on 17 mins and 24 seconds (which will be classed as the 18), then Southampton is added to the list. Or if a yellow card or goal happens on 52mins and 11 seconds (classed as 53), we count back around the 40 teams, which lands on Everton.

Anyway, by now I hope you understand the jist?

As soon as 3 teams are locked in. Then I will confirm these teams and contact Nikidinho to pick 1 to leave Swansea and manage. Remember, he does not have to leave Swansea if he does not want to.

Good luck Nikidinho...............may the players of both Leicester and Man Utd be on your side!

In the event that there are less than a total of 3 yellow cards/goals in the game, then no teams will be carried over (even if you 2 locked in) and I will select another game to start this process from scratch again. Also, please note that added time in both the 1st half and 2nd half does not count.
