Nikidinho 4,536
Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense. Formidable team. I imagine you had many players to your disposal for P/E deals?Look forward to facing you in the Division and eventual Cup/Shield games! I had 32 players at the start, but I tried to not get sucked into bidding wars with other managers, and mostly traded one player for another directly. Aye, our games should be good. Division 4 promotion favorites Cardiff City will come to the Alexandra Stadium looking for a large margin win when they face the hosts' date=' Crewe Alexandra in a game of contrasts. The Crewe have young players with potential, while Cardiff have experienced, talented, players at their prime complimented by young players with potential. Crewe operate on a small budget; whereas Cardiff have all the money and players to expend in the world for a Division 4 side.Allan Zhang is asked about his side's chances this game. "To be honest with you, as long as we don't get hammered by losing by a greater than 2 goal deficit I'd be proud of my lads. Our goal is to strike fear into our opponents, and send a message to the rest of the league that Crewe Alexandra is a force to be reckoned with. We beat a full-strength Arsenal in a friendly; why can't we do this in a league game? The thing is, we can do it, with some luck, and hard work, and I'm sure that we can come away with a result."[/quote'] Oh god don't say I'm the fav, I'm not good in that position, well probably not that great full stop! all the best for tonight;)

Nikidinho 4,536
Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense. Swansea come from 2-0 down to draw at Reading. Inspirational captain Cambiasso with the assist for the first goal, and with the goal to draw level. A loss in our first game would be extremely embarrassing. I think I picked a good captain
muallan 9,470
Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense. THE PARTIALLY DAILY CREWE June 8,2014 CREWE LOSE 4-0! Crewe Alexandra have lost their season opener 4-0, to Division 4 champions-elect Cardiff City. Crewe Alexandra's goalkeeper Areola was voted the Flop of the Match after allowing 4 goals, including a few misplays. Backup goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski will almost certainly replace him for the next match. "Good thing there is no relegation zone", was all manager Allan Zhang could say in his post-match interview. The Crewe's next match will be against York City, who surprised the pundits with a 3-2 defeat of Wrexham.

AniAniAni 11,625
Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense. WBA's unbeaten home record stands, even though we could only salvage a draw. As per usual, cards were flying about in a Stoke game. (No offence Jamie) They seemed the better team for the first half of the game, and were unlucky not to score a second after another decent performance from the 18-year old Scuffet. But WBA fought back and took the lead thanks to two headers, only for that lanky mofo, who goes by the name of Peter Crouch, to equalise 8 minutes later. Stoke will always be a tough draw considering the compact formation they have, so a draw is definitely a decent result. Next stop: Blackpool!
Benjo_Benjo 1,915
Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense. Very pleasing result for the lads in our first game of the season, winning 3-1 away to Brighton. Jo x 2 and Neymar on the score sheet. Hats off to Chester beating Hull and also AFC Wimbledon losing by just one goal away to Man City!!! Onwards and Upwards!
Jamie3184 7,394
Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense. Excellent win for Stockport, not only getting the three points but putting on a good display. It was especially important to get the 3 points over a rival relegation team. The goalkeeper Raffaele Di Gennaro was just pipped to MOTM award by Penha Thalles who buried the ball in the opposition net twice after lovely assists by Richairo Zivkovic and Julian Green. Bernardo Silva rounded off the goals with a lovely freekick from the edge off the box. Next up are Luton Town, another three points are vital against a fellow relegation candidate. As per usual' date=' cards were flying about in a Stoke game. (No offence Jamie)[/quote'] Haha non taken. Nice result, you did very well to beat such a top class team! Stockport is now above us lol You bet your dam ass they are!
