Re: EPL Rating Changes Thread

Defoe may get +1 but no more then that. For Arsenal I think his will happen:

Rosicky -1 (sadly has been injured for a long time)

Eduardo (keep his rating)

Sagna +2 (Best RB in the league)

Lehman -1 (dont need to explain)

Almunia +1 (dont need to explain)

Senderos +1 (no way is he a 90 yet but filled in well enough for 89)

Gallas -1 (would help if he stopped crying and performed better. Berbatov and rooney have ran circles around him many times this season)

Clichy maybe +1 (his mistake against birmingham lets him down)

Walcott +1 (no need to explain)

Bendtner +1

Edebayor +2 (outstanding)

RVP (stay 92)

Eboue (stay 89)

Sagna to 93:eek: ...not even first choice RB for France has not even played a full season with Arsenal yet but you think he should be a 93 all the way from a 88 since he joined...

Adebayor to 93.... the guy is inconsistent but can be a good striker when on form which doesnt really last long... 91/92 for me.

I think someone forgot about Flamini  he's sure to rise (92 me thinks) with 3177 minutes (dats 36 games ppl) under his belt he's a cert! I agree with most your ratings, but disagree with Sagna and Gallas they'll both stay the same or Sagna will go up one! Everything else seems to be in order with adebayor DEFINITELY going up but not too sure with him going 2 ratings up since he jumped from 89 to 91 and SM might be more conservative but hey we'll need to wait and see what happens with that one!

Re: EPL Rating Changes Thread

Hasnt Gallas been one of Arsenals better players? From what ive seen he has.

Yeah -1 for him is completely wrong... krucinho your telling me Gallas( starter for france and arsenal captain) should be the same as Sagna (Debut season hasnt really lit up emirates)....

Gallas has defo been one of the better Arsenal players seeing as he is not liked he still wants good things for the club.

Re: EPL Rating Changes Thread

Wilson Palacios, currently rated 83.

16 League Starts so far, and now considered a Wigan regular.

Highly rated midfielder by both Steve Bruce and Arsene Wenger.

I'm thinking a rise to 86/87 is in order.

Glen Johnson, currently rated 88.

26 League Starts so far, 2 goals, 4 assists, 13 clean sheets.

Highly rated by Harry Redknapp, and surely an England call up isn't far away.

I'm thinking a rise to 89/90 is in order.

Phil Jagielka, currently rated 87.

22 League Starts so far, 1 goal, 4 assists, 13 clean sheets.

First choice centre back at Everton with some very good consistant performances both domestically and in europe. Lescott has taken all the plaudits this season but Jagielka has been just as important to the clubs sucess.

Consider the ratings of the other Everton defenders I'm thinking a rise to 89/90 is in order.

Re: EPL Rating Changes Thread

You can't seriously compare Berbatov with Mutu ?!? Mutu plays more as an attacking mid or wide as a wing in a 4-3-3 formation which Prandeli usualy use, and he's not only there to score goals ( which Berbatov role as a CF is ) he's there as a playmaker, i can't remember the last match when Mutu made a bad performance but you can find plenty of those at Berbatov ( no where near an increase ) .

Re: EPL Rating Changes Thread

Paul Scharner, currently rated 87.

Started every League game this season expect for 1, 4 goals, 1 assist, 6 clean sheets since Feburary, 9 in total.

Some important goals and great displays this season have helped to change Wigan's early season fortunes.

I'm thinking a rise to 88 would be fair.

Tom Huddlestone, currently rated 87.

16 League starts and 7 sub appearances, 3 goals, 7 assists. 6 UEFA cup starts too.

Doesn't always start for Spurs but has been effective when coming on from the bench. Very talented young player with a big future no doubt.

Surprised his rating went down last time, so I'd say a rise back to 88/89 for now, and maybe pushing 89/90 next time if he cements his place and continues to produce goals and assists.

Jimmy Bullard, currently rated 85.

10 League starts and 3 sub, 2 goals, 1 assist.

Since making his return from a really bad injury Bullard has started every game since then end of January. Despite Fulham's plight his performances have been impressive and as energetic as they were before his injury.

I think a rise to 86/87 would be fair.
