EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Aston Villa hammered Stoke City 6 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture.

Cavani was impressive and scored a hat-trick, later being voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Strootman and Tévez were also amongst the goalscorers.

Boom! Fantastic result and, with Newcastle only managing a draw in what appears an ill tempered game with Spurs - Elo you big beardy beauty of a bear, i loves ya man! - the title is Villa's!

Genuinely chuffed to bits, i love it in AD and am over the moon to win the big show here. Loving it!

Looks like Cavani proved the season maker in the end - he scored 10 in 12 since i bought him!

In case you havent guessed, im a wee bit happy with the result!

Blackpool wins Division 3!

blackpoolreu_1641895c.jpg

Omg, what a run! :D22 matches unbeaten, 21 wins and 1 draw! That was an insane ride... It's certainly my biggest run on SM. How long it will survive?! :P I'm glad we managed to do so great and rebuild the team at the same time. We know it will be a tougher challenge, but we're ready for Division 2! Blackpool power! :D

Great season fellas! Congratulations on winning Division 1 Ed, and congratulations to everyone who got what they wanted!

Cheers man' date=' I'm normally rubbish at impressions - although I can do the obligatory Prince Charles and that "oh I don't really know" Coronation Street bird that all youths from the 80's can do naturally.

Kills me to say it but well done Pat

Also well done Ed.... Great season ;)

Appreciate that mate, so close to an amazing double - 57% possession in the final against Sean but he did me on penalties - which would have been incredible but, yeah, overjoyed with a really great season regardless

So your prize was to win a fat, cumbersome, talentless wrestler? Well I am really looking forward to life in division 1. I might win a signed photo of Shirley Crabtree.

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

congrats to all the winners - especially Ed - had a great season and thoroughly deserved the title.

Been a funny old season for me.

did nearly nothing with my team for most of the first half of the season, playing unfit players and low rated players in a lot of games, but still have walked away with the charity sheild, and the cup. I'm also in the SMFA final(although that is out of my control), and finished just 2 points from 1st.

Sold a lot of my big names(still got mascherano and Alonso to shift), but am happy with my team now.

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

SS Lazio stays up!!

Already relegated Sunderland was easily brushed aside as Lazio took the needed points to climb up to safety after the very last round.

Just hours before the match kicked off' date=' Mignolet, Indi and Willems completed their move to Lazio. Mignolet immediately replaced Perín between the posts as he's had an average season. And I don't regret that one bit as Simon made a solid debut for the club.

Extra happy about Rome rivals AS Roma going down in our place (Sorry lol)

Big thanks to Sean, honestly don't think we would have taken enough points without the big guns you sold me. Since they arrived we've won 2 and drew 1.[/quote']

Started the game week with relegation being an outside chance with a handful of results needing to go against us. And they did... Brilliant. Looking for deals. Squad needs upheaval. Players haven't delivered for me

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Congrats to Villa.

After a tremendous first half of the season,Hull took an almighty nosedive and were lucky to stay in Div1.

A dreadful second half of the season, but we survived.

Well done to the Winners of all leagues, and playoff winners:)

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

RC Deportivo slumped to a 2 - 1 defeat to Hereford United in their Division 3 fixture.

Ansaldi had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match.

Bicho was on the scoresheet for his side.

unlucky , Hereford playing with very little talent at the moment after selling off the first team, we had to play very defensive and hope for the best.

i never expected the win or to make the play offs. we wont be getting anyone in before tonights game so i expect a little extra cash and nothing else from tonights game.

good luck to everyone in the play offs.

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Going to take me a while to work out the managers points table, here is last seasons results and how the system works.

Managers point scoring-

League points gained- plus 15% for winners,

10% for runners up

5% for 3rd placed.

league points lost- minus 15% for bottom spot,

-10% for 13th place

-5% for 12th place.

If a 3rd Division club wins Div 2 , an extra 10%, if they win Div 1, an extra 20%.

If a 2nd Division side wins Div 1,an extra 10%.

Taken from the division that the manager started in.

No league bonuses for a side that gets promoted from a division lower than the one they started in.

CUP- Winner - 20points/ 25/ 30 (Div 1/ 2/ 3)

Runner up - 12/ 17/ 22

Losing Semi finalists - 5/ 10/ 15

Losing Q/finalists - 1/ 5/ 10.

No points for Europe as some have gold and some don't.

MILLWALL - Longnose 72.45

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

accepted the cash bid from Smut's Hereford for Will Buckley who is now on a tandem peddling his way there with a little help from the catering manager Stan "pie man" Arbuckle.

However, Dusan Tadic - AM (RLC), F (RL) rated 90 and aged 26 is available for CV to ANY 3rd division team. Thats under £8m for a reasonably young 90 who can play across midfield and is rumored to be Manchester United bound (other big teams are also interested) in the summer.

He will go to first 3rd division bid recieved - so best be quick
