EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Slightly trickier than I thought as you’ve a number of TB’s still to expire but' date=' heres who I like regardless:-

Gonzo Higuaín

Mark Reus

Danny Sturridge

King Julian “I like to move it” Draxler

Ideally I need a first teamer for the right and left wings so minimum rating 92.

What you needing and who you like?[/quote']

Yea I know, I'd rather hold on to my TB'd players for now, as I would like to see how well they actually perform for me :)

Higuain and Draxler on the other hand may leave.

For higz I'd need a striker in the deal as I only have 3 right now.

Draxler can leave without a replacement.

My primary targets from your team would be: Gundogan, Azpilicueta and Rakitic. But that doesn't mean I'm not interested in the rest

First silverware of the season has been won!

Aston Villa have won the Charity Shield!
Aston Villa beat Chelsea 4 - 0 in the final to lift the trophy.

Cavani scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Cazorla and Azpilicueta were also amongst the goalscorers.

Boom!!!!!!! Massive win that, delighted with it!

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

The match ended 1 - 1 between Leicester City and Newcastle United in their Division 1 fixture.

Berbatov was on the scoresheet for his side.

First game in the top flight results in a draw, which is somewhat disappointing against an inactive manager.

Marin scored a brace and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Great start of the season for us, been the better team on stats and think we deserved the win. :P

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

nice way to start our 2nd campaign in the 2nd division with a 1-0 defeat of recently relegated Roma, still a strong side, and very proud of this.

Tiago scored our lone goal, but late on, Pizarro got a red.

100% deserved the win. Well played man! Horrible result for me on the other hand, especially since I was at home! :o Needing our transfer bans to end as soon as and offers in for the listed players before I can have a realistic chance of being promoted this season!

Scraped an away 1-0 win at Pippo's Sunderland in last night's D2 opener between two of the relegated sides.

I can see already this division is going to be a real dogfight.

Belated congrats to Fluffy for his SMFA Super Cup victory last week against The Potters by a similar margin.

Stoke look forward to the defence of their Europa League title tonight with a trip Florence...

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

bit concerened about how I might get on this season, with my lowest average starting lineup since the setup began, and my slaughtering by Ed in the sheild.

However:

Chelsea outclassed Liverpool and thrashed them 6 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture.

Isco scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Oscar and Marquinhos were also amongst the goalscorers.

If only Gaz was around to see Costa score 2 against Liverpool

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Bit of a thriller with West Ham, a 3-3 draw with fairly even stats all round.

Good game Ash, although Alves probably wouldn't agree (red card on 80mins)

Oh and this post is not designed in any way to bring your attention to my sig and the openings that have popped up on the ever excellent Progress Championship.

In now way is that my intention.

To draw your attention to the sig.

It appears at the bottom of my post.

There, at the bottom.

Beneath this post.

Don't look at it.

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Citeh have started the season very well with a 6-2 win against Southampton and a 2-0 win over Liverpool.

Still have Schurrle,Pedro and potentially Sterling on the market but Sterling would take a good deal to sell.

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Congrats to Machines on defeating my Leeds with his Blackpool, 2-0. Makes up for the last time we met, in the inaugural season, where i beat him in the Promotion Playoff to welcome him to the setup, with the exact scoreline I believe. ;)

This season I believe we have the potential to challenge for promotion, the results are encouraging, I guess we can only get better as the season goes :)

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Seems like a few managers have flew the coop, hopefully the slots get filled quick enough.

Whitehawk add another three points to the tally with an easy 2-0 win over Gateshead, gutted to lose our captain fantastic Rode to injury though, he will be missed, an opening two wins and a draw is a fine start although we have probably played a few of the weakest sides so no getting carried away.

Have threw out a reserve team to play against Roma as the league is our priority, no interest in extra competition with our skinny squad.

Tottenham Hotspur outclassed Bayern München and beat them 2 - 0 in their SMFA Champions Cup Group A fixture.

Kagawa scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Moutinho was also on the scoresheet for his side.

Had a cup game yesterday which went YAY! Have a cup game again tonight (Le Havre) and I'll let some of my younger players have a gander at playing I think!
