Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

6 games into season 3 and Division 3 is looking like this.

Gateshead with just 1 point are bottom, a squad full of youngsters must mean they are going the long term riser route.

Telford are not much better off with 2 points, manager hasnt been in charge too long and once the tb's end in 3 weeks you can expect them to move up the table.

Portsmouth are the other club without a win, although 4 draws isnt too bad, it has to be said that they are, for the 3rd season, the divisions underachievers.

Guiseley are in 11th with 5 points, mainly due to that awkward period of shaking up the squad and bringing in new players that arent match fit, watch out for an improvement over the next few weeks, with the manager being a lifelong Leeds fan, the knowledge of how football shouldn't be played is huge.

Millwall are next with 7 points, combination of a relegation hangover and the managers 10 day suspension for gross conduct with tea lady Hilda, explains their lowly position.

Another relegated side, Le Havre, have finally found form for their new manager with a 8-0 win in their last game. a good squad has been put together here so rising up the table should continue.

Next on 8 points are Burnley, with no transfers this season, the manager is showing faith in his high rated squad, lets hope the chairman does the same with the manager.

Whitehawk in 7th on 9 points, just outside the play offs on goal difference, the new first team is doing well and with just 4 weeks to go before tb's end, they are sitting pretty for a promotion charge in the 2nd half of the season.

Into the play off places and we find Birmingham, who have a very strong squad for this division , will be expecting that 6th is the lowest position they will occupy all season.

Chester will be very happy with 5th spot and their 10 points as they are very busy making a nice profit from selling off a few risers and re investing on some good players.

Aachen are another club with a manager who has only had a limited chance of getting his first team into shape, several good signings at the end of last season has meant they will be pushing for promotion.

Dresden are also on 12 points and will be happy with their start, a club that is investing in a strong youth policy but still has a first team that will compete with the top clubs.

Hereford are also on 12 points, an unbeaten start has given the players confidence to carry out the clubs target of a play off spot this season.

Celtic are not only unbeaten at the top but have won 5 out of the 6 games, the highest rated side in the division are in their rightful place and looking strong.

Hardly any club wants take advantage of gaining vital manager's points in the cup, Whitehawk beat Chester and Guiseley were the only giantkilling team, beating Lazio ( 2nd in Div 1) 2-1 in Rome.

Robert Kennedy, a 78 rated foward played in CB ahead of Chalobah due to transfers out from the club. We ended up losing 4-3 at Home. Work's an absolute killer sometimes, hope we don't regret this co e seasons end! B) Nice win though pal!

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Our unbeaten run came to an end with a 3-1 defeat to ALEMANNIA AACHEN but we bounced back for an exciting 4-3 win over Chester.

12 points from the opening seven games is not bad considering what we are working with, our star man Rode will be back for the next league game but before that we must contend with west Ham in the cup which tbh I am not at all looking forward to with our 79 rated cupside.

On the news front we got a +7 for Gersbach and a +3 for Vela which means extra cash for them when bans are up in a few weeks, an occasion I am looking forward to as we will hopefully better ourselves.

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Deserved loss.

being harsh on yourself Tino, it took an 89th minute winner from 90 rated Tadic to seperate the two teams, stats also show that a draw was the fair result.

Leicester now up to 6th after beating the hammers 2-0. Seeing the calibre of clubs above us I am more than happy with the way things are going after a slow start to life in division 1.

Well deserved mate, we edged the chances but couldn't make them count. Luiz Gustavo ran us ragged!

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Since taking over Whitehawk at the back-end of last season things have went much better than expected, the work Nick Justice done in laying the groundwork for a team to be built upon is not to be forgotten though and also the few high bids we received by generous managers definitely helped start the wheels moving, we took over and the squad was roughly forty million value that has been doubled through the first phase of transfers and with the second phase approaching we will be going down the same route with every player sold once again.

When taking over the club had won just one solitary game that season so the transformation has been magnificent especially given the circumstances.

My overall League games record: W6-D5- L2

My overall Cup record: W3-D0-L0

I am expecting a lull for a few games when we do begin to sell off the assets as to maximise the assets we will not replace as soon as we sell as we will be waiting on cash bids for the rest of the players first, I am hoping the whole process is done as quick as possible as I do feel we are in with a shot at the play-offs this season, I guess only time will tell but at the minute Whitehawk FC is a good place to be.
