EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

A disappointing 4-2 defeat from Burnley although no complaints as we were beaten by the better team.We are still hovering in the last play-off place but a few hard games coming up so we need to step it up again.

RB's are off in a week or so which tbh can't come quick enough.

After being unbeaten in the first 9 games, HEREFORD lose 2 in a row to Burnley and Portsmouth.

We are now in 3rd spot and Aachen, who have taking over 2nd place.

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

AD2 cup has reached the final stage,

VILLA vs HULL to be played next Tuesday.

plenty to play for as the managers points are scored like this-

CUP- Winner - 20points/ 25/ 30 (Div 1/ 2/ 3)

Runner up - 12/ 17/ 22

Losing Semi finalists - 5/ 10/ 15

Losing Q/finalists - 1/ 5/ 10.

No real upsets this season, all 4 semi finalists were from Div 1 and only Whitehawk were the unlikely team in the 1/4 finals.

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

DIVISION 2 has surprise leaders after 11 games, Blackpool were recently promoted and there is no stopping them at the moment. Although it has to be said, they are only 3 points ahead of 7th place, such is the closeness of this division.

Stoke and Everton, who have both tasted tears of relegation, are just a point behind.

Leeds, QPR, Norwich and Derby are not much further away either.

Roma and Deportivo seem content with a mid table position and that leaves some big clubs in trouble, Rangers , who recently decided to join the relegation battle with 4 defeats in a row, lead the pack of future division 3 clubs.

Fulham remain 3 points outside the relegation spots, with Sunderland in 12th, having only just woken up to the fact they need to win a game or two.

Viking look like finding their 2nd season in div 2 more difficult than the first and then there is Palace at the very bottom with just 5 points.

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

HEREFORD suffered a 3rd defeat in a row, this time at home to Aachen 3-2, it was an entertaining game and could of claimed a point if our finishing was up to standard, well done Marius.

It leaves us in 4th place with a tough trip to Chester on Sunday.

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Division 1 already seems to have a two horse race after just twelve games, Arsenal just lost their 2nd game of the season, winning all the others, which leaves them 4 points clear of Lazio, who in turn are 4 points ahead of 3rd placed Man city.

Man city are on an 8 match unbeaten run, so they might force their way into the title race, although they do have a manager capable of turning the season into a relegation battle.

Hull occupy 4th spot due to gaining 13 point from the last 5 games.

Then comes the melee of teams, just 3 points separate the next 6 clubs, Southampton, w.ham, past champions Villa and Chelsea, Leicester and Spurs fill these spots, the only club that will be happy in mid table will be newly promoted Leicester, otherwise the others need to pull their finger out, especially Spurs whose manager has gone and got himself a job in real life, leaving little time for transfer market, cant see anything but a relegation struggle for a club whose manager has his priorities so wrong.

This leaves us with the bottom 4, Wolves are the club outside the relegation zone but after 5 straight defeats, it wont be long until they drop down into it.

At least West Brom are showing a bit of fight with 4 points from their last two games, leaving them just a point behind Wolves.

Two big clubs are fighting over finishing last, Newcastle and Liverpool both have had new managers recently but now is the time for them to get their talented squads performing.

Great write-ups mate,Hull have been on a great recently forcing our way to 4th and reaching the cup final.

After all the drama being involved in other chaotic game worlds, this one is thankfully untouchable

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Get my first win as Telford manager in my 2nd game in charge

Telford 4-2 Gateshead

Gateshead took the early lead through a berahino penalty but Telford hit back through Galloway, McManaman and a double on his debut from Ceballos, Gatesheads Alli scoring late to make it 4-2. Good win but Carroll picking up his 2nd booking of the game in 88mins means he now serves a ban.

Signed a few players this week and with transfer bans coming off hopefully do some more wheeling and dealing in the next couple weeks.

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Very nice stuff at Blackpool mate, we hope to be like you in a few windows.

A 0-0 draw with Millwall is not exactly what we needed to kickstart ourselves after our bad run but good game Craig.

Have accepted bids for half a dozen players so we will start the phase two rebuild soon enough, not sure if we will be able to get a new team in for the Le Harve game though.

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

We have sold off a half dozen players all for decent profit, probably the best profit came from Bongani Khumalo who was bought for £1.8M and sold for £6.8M.

Hopefully we can boost the squad value up to around the £100M -£110M then that would put us in a fine position to be very competitive in this division next season then we can afford ourselves the luxury of looking for some more desirable assets.

I am quite enjoying my time in here although we may not be getting as much success on the field as I had hoped things are definitely heading in the right direction off the field.

Blackpool beat RC Deportivo 2 - 1 in their Division 2 fixture.

Banega had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match.

Hulk was on the scoresheet for his side.

Very important win to keep us close to 1st place, only 2 points away. Hulk keeps smashing opposition :D Division 2 has now a clear top 4, finally. And we're there B)

Record crowd watches Blackpool. 18,618 fans turned out to watch Blackpool against RC Deportivo breaking the previous home record attendance.

Cool.

Patrice EVRA has completed his move to Juventus from Blackpool for 10,104,000

Very cool.

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Hulk Smash!!!

I have decided to take a bit of a different route with phase two of the rebuild as we have bid for some decent players rather than just value players but we have still kept it mixed up with some free agents and the likes.A couple of disappointing rejections for players from externals have to be taken on the chin but in this first wave we have managed to get accepted bids on ten players rated 85-89.

Lopez Adrian (89)

Abdoulay Konko(88)

Youn Gouffran(88)

Stephane Sessegnon(88)

Adelino Vierinha (88)

Sergi Roberto (87)

Ogneyi Onazi (87)

Jonas Guitterez (87)

Arkadiusz Milik (86)

Valentin Roberge (85)

Although this is only our first wave on bids these players will greatly enhance our teams ability to compete' date=' more will follow over the next week or so.

[b']Viva Whitehawk![/b]

EDIT

Another 4 players leave for cash including goalkeeper Storrari, we tried to sign Oblak as his replacement but or 7.5M bud was nowhere near good enough to beat Chesters 12M bid so we bought 87 rated Starke for 2M instead.

We also have accepted deals on Angel Correa and Jeison Murillo which should help our side fill out a bit, still more work is needed on the side but that will happen over the next few days/week when we acquire targets and also when we sell off the rest of our driftwood from phase one build.

We have also got an accepted bid for exciting young Dutch fullback Joshua Brenet but we have competition from Chester so I am unsure if we will get him or not.

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

An exciting first game with the new players yields a 4-3 win over Le Harve.

Lopez Adrian 2 goals, Berrardi 1 goal, Gouffran 1 goal & 1 assists, Vierinha 1 assist; Starke conceded 3 on his debut.

This win edges us back in the play-offs.

Good game Tino unlucky.

After breaking our transfer record a couple of days ago with Milik, we again break it with Correa, these players are not the best for instant resale value but are young enough to stake their claims for a long-term place in the squad.

The squad value is over 100 million not including any loans so we are on the right path, still some ins and outs to be done before phase two is complete but I am loving looking at this side in comparison to the side I took over.

EDIT

Joshua Brenet joins up at Whitehawk and we have an accepted bid on Martin Montoya, this means we have sent back Gaya to Chelsea from his loan as wages are streaking up(thanks for the loan Sean).

Everton outclassed Rangers and beat them 5 - 4 in a thrilling Division 2 encounter.

Falcao scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Barkley and Witsel were also amongst the goalscorers.
