Division 1

Woking FC 2 - 2 Cambridge United

Woking managed to sneak 4 of their new signings into last night's starting 11 just seconds before the selection cut-off after the manager returned home late from a days fishing... :)

A much more solid looking defence gave the home side a basic platform upon which to dig out a very respectable draw against largely superior opposition.

10 new players have arrived at Kingfield thus far and the manager hopes to secure further reinforcements as the week progresses.

Next up, a tough away encounter at Southport who, despite suffering an opening day nightmare at 7 goal Exeter, will provide another stern test for Woking on Thursday...

Going to have a break down over being beaten in bids. About the fourth time Ive found a little known riser with no one else shortlisting him. Put in a bid. Log on the next day to find out someone outbid me!

I feel your pain.... I spend hours scouting players and this happens often

Radit ces cuda. Samo ne protiv mene :P

Daleko je D1, moram da se uzdam u Kup :D

Luton Town is keeping it modest and without high hopes. We'll take the role of underdog for this season, but if Andy Drury and Mate Papp do their work, we might even surprise our opponents with direct promotion B)

Eventful week for Bees!

barnet-bee.jpg

It's been an eventful first week both on and off the pitch for Barnet Football Club.

Just over a week has passed since Ben Kelly was paraded in front of the Barnet faithful as the clubs new manager. Since then players have joined, players have left and the club have had a transfer embargo placed upon following Kelly's stupidity...sorry breaching squad size restrictions.

(Above) Kyle Vassell is amongst 13 new faces.

A host of new faces arrived at The Hive Stadium this week led by forward Kyle Vassell from Peterborough United. Other notable new faces from the UK include Scott Tanser from Rochdale, Jordan White joining from Livingston, Louis Longridge from Hamilton and Josh Law arriving Motherwell.

Kelly went shopping in Finland before the aforementioned embargo was placed upon them five players arriving from Scandinavia including Nigerian youngster Francis Chibuike.

Days after these initial signings the FA announced that Barnet had breached league rules by having a squad in excess of 30 players. As a result a number of players have been released whilst key men Lee Cook, Charlie McDonald, John Akinde, Jack Saville and Mauro Vilhete have all been allowed to leave.

On the pitch Barnet have started well with a 3-2 victory at Southend.

Some impressive scouting's been occurring.

Found a couple of players in my scouting this morning that were perfect and Sutton Utd had already snapped them uP!

Which one? So sorry about that :D

I made a 100% italian side, and actually I missed a couple of my targets..
