Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

Right now #mancutsoffownp3nis' date=' #gemmawalksoutofimacelebrity and #lifevirgins are all trending on twitter.

so being talked about must mean these are the best things since sliced bread then.

Personally, I'm loving the Italian goading. they're the favourites so they are there to be bashed in my eyes! That's the benefit of being an underdog, the rest of us can aim are punches up!

I do hope your mob are able to cope with it Sean, seem to be a little upset about it.[/quote']

Personally, I'd like to hear what the England camp think about letting Messi slip through their fingers.

Will there be a press release or will the big story of the day be ignored?

might be big news in Italy mate. We had no intention of taking him. he's not our market, us lesser nations have to spread the money around.

The rest of us aren't like you, guys throwing money around like it was spaghetti at a pasta convention - how much was it again Smut, let me just check......

Alexis SÁNCHEZ has completed his move from Arsenal to Udinese Calcio for a fee of £25.5M
Alexis SÁNCHEZ CV £18.7M

Oh yeah, that's it - £6.8m lost on his value.

I can feel another call from Number One coming your way Number Two.....

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

given that a fair share of goals come from free kicks and penalties' date=' given that Sean has some of the best players to take the free kicks and penalties, it could benefit Sean if opposition tactics are set to anything but 'timid'.

Ain't nobody gonna take no freekicks with no broken legs and ting.

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

Sorry I have not been round much of late, had a really hectic week as often happens at this time of year. Next week I am on decorating duties so will be another week where I will unlikely be very active in the forums.

Sorry about this people but I will try where possible to post with more regularity.

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

Newcastle United 3 - 0 SS Lazio

SOUTHAMPTON 6 - 1 ACF Fiorentina

Everton 0 - 0 Wolfsburg

Swansea City 3 - 0 Athletic Club

The English have arrived, and they've arrived in style.

The I£alians take a whooping by the minnows and their, what was it, "bargain bucket" purchases.

The Spanish take a hit too.

Turns out Ze Germans were actually unlucky at Everton.

Ed Moses steered Southampton to victory against ACF Fiorentina.

Southampton hammered ACF Fiorentina 6 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture.

Sturridge was impressive and scored a hat-trick, later being voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Rodriguez and Draxler were also amongst the goalscorers.

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

told ya.......

I wouldn't read too much into the first couple of games. No teams are set yet, I had none of my fullbacks ready for 90 minutes, and I saw your team is not ready either. You could very well get the win in the return game.

Anyway, happy to see Reus performing well right away as he cost alot(!).

Just need to get Costa going as he hasn't scored or assisted any goals yet.

Worried about the punishment for the "Nanny Goat" scandal ??? ;)

In all seriousness that is a brilliant set of results, credit where it is due. Be hard to see a better week than that all season I reckon.

Think your right mate, stunning results.

Oh and I still maintain the goat was, according to the FIFA code of ethics a "consenting contributor to a mutually beneficial short term engagement"
