Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

Jackson arrives at Wolfsburg as we pay Hannover 12m for his services.

He fills the hole of Aubameyang who we sold to Hannover at the end of the season.

oo-er matron. Jackson fills the hole of Aubameyang' date=' now that is just wrong.[/font']

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

Transfer news sees Son join from Leverkusen for CV. Happy with this for a player who IRL has a goal return of a goal every 2 games this season. If he maintains such form an outside chance of a +1 when the reviews are done again in about 2 years time?

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

Nice awards Sean.

SEVILLA

Fenerbahçe SK

Internazionale

Manchester United

Decent SMFA CL group although I might leave it to the assistant' date=' Gold is in its last week and renewing is not high on my list of priorities.[/quote']

Juventus

Monaco

Liverpool

Possible but unlikely with my assistant in control.

First game of the season is lazio, so will probably be newcastle the first side I unleash messi\ronaldo on

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

Good job on the awards there Sean and the “bosses”.

Thought I would tally the awards up (Cos I’m a statto):-

Player of the Year: Robert Lewandowski (Newcastle)

Biggest Transfer Disaster: Stephan El Shaarawy (Hannover 96)

Worst Player of the Year: Diego Costa(Valencia)

Most Important Signing: Cristiano Ronaldo (AC Milan) and Gareth Bale (Swansea)

Best pound for pound signing: Enzo Perez (AC Milan)

Biggest Transfer Disaster: Hannover 96 (Germany)

Your teams crap' date=' how the hell did you achieve so much: Monchengladbach (Germany)

Why the hell did I choose you for my team : Venk at Hannover 96 (Germany)

Manager of the Year: Nikidinho (TSG 1899 Hoffenheim)

Underperformers of the season: Newcastle United and Athletic Club

Most important win of the season: 12-0 Athletic win over Everton

OMG, give somebody else a chance to post something Award; EdMoses (Southampton)

Forgot you were here Award: Venk (Hanover 96)

Who threw their toys furthest from the pram: MarkM (Germany) and Ray1981 (Spain)

…………………………………………..Awards

…………………You Want to Win…………You Want to Avoid

Italy…………………….2…………………………………...0

Spain…………………..1…………………………………...3

Germany……………..2…………………………………...5

England……………….1…………………………………...3

So the English didn’t even win the Award You Want To Avoid League. Nice to see the Italians do well again tho

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

Not even gunna justify the end of season award I got with a response so ridiculous is the fact it went to me that I can't even be bothered to argue with these people, not worth the hassle. :)

Anyhow.....

This season your Chairman expects you not to finish bottom of the League....

Obviously seen I ain't logged in for a week or even bothered to search for any transfers :P

Seven day weeks till the end of March so if he thought I was negligent then wait till he says the next few weeks :P

Challenge accepted Chairman!!

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

Newcastle United beat Real Sociedad 2 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture.

Lewandowski scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Piszczek was also on the scoresheet for his side.

Great to kick off the new season with a win. As a nation 2 wins and 2 losses you could say is average however with the Italians getting three wins we are the only two nations to start the season with more than one win so we will take that.

Great start for Ed with an emphatic 4-1 mauling of Valenciwho?

1 of those Italian wins was a same nation though.

Will be doing the scores in the morning but looks fairly even I reckon.

We drew with Wolfsburg away, will take it.

Good to get this season up & running :).

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

Not all of us have 50m a week income Sean and have to manipulate things to get what we want :P

I don't get a penny over £25mil a week;)

no matter what you say about moneys, they are the only team in the setup downgrading ATM..

and the fact that they had the 3rd highest attendance of the 8 teams that played last night tells me hannover aren't short of income:p

Edit: Do I see a move in the pipeline that will start an upswing in the first team
