Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

19 March

Spain 26pts

Italy 15pts

England 0pts

Germany 0pts

Totals

Italy 38pts

Spain 34pts

England 14pts

Germany 12pts

Nice, I do think there should be some sort of extra bonus points for if a nation gets 4 from 4 wins, maybe a thought for next season as it is not that it happens that often.

Anyway well done Amigos, free Paella all week, extra chorizo.

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

The undisclosed deal involving João MOUTINHO of AS Monaco and Southampton has collapsed as Southampton do not have the available funds.

The undisclosed deal involving Gonzalo HIGUAÍN of SSC Napoli and Everton has collapsed as Everton do not have the available funds.

That Premier league mega TV cash deal seems not to have filtered its way through yet.

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

Pretty consistent week all round, with a shift at the top of the standings:

22 March

Spain 17pts

England 9pts

Germany 8pts

Italy 8pts

Totals

Spain 51pts

Italy 46pts

England 23pts

Germany 20pts

Good thing we got a decent start as the next round of fixtures are all same nation - Valencia vs Sevilla & Sociedad vs Athletic.

On the 31st March there is an interesting round of cup fixtures - there isn't a same nation game!

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

Toyed with this last season, figured I’d try to keep on top of it this time round but life’s already pulling me in 25 different directions so if anyone wants to help when time is outta my hands that would be ace.

It’s basically a point accumulator by team to see whom is gaining and whom is conceding the most points as we go along – in other words the 4N Active Points column is a combination of the points your team has GAINED less the points you have CONCEEDED.

The Internal Team League

TEAM………………….P…….W……..D….….L……...F…….A……..4N ACTIVE PTS

Real Sociedad…….3…….2………0………1……..8……..2……………..11

Athletic Club………3……..1……..2……..0……..5……..4………………8

Sevilla…………………3…….1……..0………1……..4……..2………………7

Valencia CF………..3…….2………0….…..1……..5……..5………………5

Udinese Calcio*….4……..1……..2……..1……..8……...8…………….16

AC Milan……………..2……..1……..1……..0………4……..1……………..8

ACF Fiorentina…...1……..2……..0……..1………3……..1……………..7

SS Lazio……………..2……..1…….0……..1……..2……...4……………..-2

Southampton……..2……..1……..1………0….….6……..3……………..9

Newcastle…………..3……..2……..0……..1……..5……..5………………5

Everton……………….2……..0……..0……..2……..2……..5……………..-13

Swansea City………3……..0………1……..2……..6……..10……………-13

Wolfsburg…………..3……..1……..1……..1……..4………4………….…..1

Hanover……………..2……..0……..1……..1……..5……...8………….…..-6

Hoffenheim#………3……..0……..1……..2……..3……..7……………….-8

M’gladbach………….3……..0……..0……..3……..3……..7……………....-19

*Udinese total inc 15 bonus points for the Charity Shield game

#Hoffenheim total inc 6 bonus points for Charity Shield game

sorry about the formatting.

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

Ribery decided to be captain fantastic last night;

Borussia Mönchengladbach beat SS Lazio 5 - 3 in a thrilling Division 1 encounter.

Ribéry was in fantastic goal-scoring form and bagged 4 goals, later being voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Lichtsteiner was also on the scoresheet for his side.

Nice boost this morning seeing Kane go to 88.

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

No perfect rounds for the whole of last season and now two in a row - well done Germany! Spain got 0 due to same nation games, but so did England without having any same nation games.

26 March

Germany 26pts

Italy 13pts

Spain 0pts

England 0pts

Totals

Italy 59pts

Spain 51pts

Germany 46pts

England 23pts

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge v.2

Quite good start for Fiorentina so far' date='hoping it turn out to be better season than last[/quote']

Haha spoke too soon. :)

Sevilla beat TSG 1899 Hoffenheim 3 - 0 in their Division 1 fixture.

Subotić scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Gonalons and Neymar were also amongst the goalscorers.

Nice win for us although we pick up injuries to Sterling and Gonalons, injuries starting to stack up with De Bruyne already benched.

Another great night for Spain, lovelyjubbly!!
