Not much else to add but I think that the game was more balanced than how you describe it. We did have more possession but you had more shots and more shots on target. Maybe the difference was really the outstanding performance of Alex Song in midfield.

We're climbing up in the charts but this league is so tight that it's really hard to predict what will happen. Look at Roma who is trashed by Ajax one week, and trashes Rangers in another week. How can I plan for that?

Re: Viviendo El Sueño

AS Roma hammered Rangers 7 - 1 in their Division 2 fixture.

Mata scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Kéita and Cavani were also amongst the goalscorers.

First win and its massive thanks to Hamsik with 4 assists

Back to losing ways. Back to the drawing board. Back to chasing after the damages.

A little sparkle courtesy of Volland (and Ibra) but too vulnerable in defense. Well Done Roma.

Next time Torres plays - we got nothing to lose anymore...

After the disgraceful performance against Roma we surely picked ourselves up and went to the Ajax arena show that we are not completely dead and buried just yet.

Apart from Courtois letting Tevez score a goal described in the commentary as: "The ball rolls in through the legs of the keeper." the best scoring chances were always ours and we come away feeling we could/should have taken more chances and convert them.

Other than that, and Torres having broken his metatarsal (3-4 weeks out) early in the game (his last documented intervention in the game was at 14 mins) and only replaced with 15 minutes to go till the end, I reckon we should actually be proud of the performance.

:)

Re: Viviendo El Sueño

I am. :D

But I'm disappointed tbh: I was hoping for another loss and I ended up drawing... :o

And what a draw. You clawed your way back into the game, a game I should have won but yet again ended seeing my team hopelessly shooting themselves in both feet.
