Daniel Crowley

crowley_zpssvnjhj1t.jpg

Club: Arsenal

Previous Club: Aston Villa

Position: CM/CAM

D.O.B: 3rd August 1997 (17)

Daniel first broke onto the scene when he was outstanding in a Aston Villa side that went on to win the Next Gen European Youth Cup, He caught Arsenal's eye when he took them apart in the competition.

Arsenal shelled out close to 1m pound to sign him and this season he stood out for Arsenal in the Uefa Youth League scoring 5 goals and assisting 5 goals in 8 games.

Daniel is now a regular in the Arsenal U21s and has also represented England at U17 level and there is a real possibility he will make his first team debut next season with a chance of a possible loan spell too.

He is held in high regard by Players and Staff at Arsenal.

Looks a really good player technically but couldn't cut it at League 1 level at only 17 years old. Needs to get stronger and make better decisions in possession. Lost the ball a lot by trying to do too much, always trying to take players on. Very skilful and in the David Silva mold as a player, but returned to Arsenal from Barnsley as clearly not yet ready for proper man's football. Having said that, don't rule him out of becoming a real star in the future, the attributes are there, but it's all potential at the moment.
