The risers' thread

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Weigl , Ginter, Aubameyang and Gundogan from Dortmund should get a +1

Costa from Bayer will definitely go up. Maybe even a +2.

Mustafi from Valencia.

R.Oxford from West Ham.

Mahrez and Vardy from Leicester

Griezmann from Atletico Madrid

Morata and Dybala from Juve

Barkley from Everton

Also, a piece of advise...stay away from Chelsea players. A lot of them might go down.

Weigl in my opinion is already 1 below where he should of been already he should be 86 right now on for a possible +2 and it would have been definite if he got called up for the friendlies at international level. Breel Embolo at 86 yes we know strikers get sort of priority in ratings but he's done nothing that Weigl has except play and score v Estonia applauds!

Ginter I don't even like at RB  but you can't argue with the stupid ridiculous stats in his case he needs to rise to 89.

D.Costa I will be shocked if he gets a +2 doesn't even deserve a +1 because he should be 90 getting a +1 now or a +2 to 92 so i'd rule out 100 percent a plus 2 being rated 91.

I think Gundogan is fine on 91 as no CL football if they win the EL and finish second possibly 3rd then yes plus 1 to 92.

Aubamyang deserves a +1 not 2 if they win EL and finish second or 3rd possibly or top scorer in Buli.

Aubameyang has been so lethal for not just this season but last season too. a 92 is essential, frankly a 93 wouldn't be absurd given how ridiculously good he has been.

Jonathan Tah has to be WAY higher than he is. 85 is a joke. this dude should be pushing 90.

Pogba to 93  has he really done enough this season to warrent that? You must keep him in line with Verratti though smh.

Muller  > 96

Lewandowski > 97

Boateng > 95

Alaba > 95

Might as well give the players who truley deserve a rise a bonus +1 for for the sake of it  being sarcastic obviously and i know Pogba has improved but not get a +1 after very bad start then only give Dybala a +1 .

Ps. I hate Juve :)

Your thoughts, please.

N.ELVEDI +2 maybe if he plays a bit more till the Bundesliga review

J.WEIGL +1 probably (should rise a lot when he returns from injury)

L.SANE +1 maybe - he got a +3 recently

J.GEIS +1 maybe

J.KIMMICH +2 a +1 if he plays some more till the Bundesliga rreview

M.KEMPF +3 (+1/+2)

J.TAH +2 or a +1, as he got a +3 not long ago

M.DAHOUD +2 (+5/+6)

M.GREGORITSCH +3 (+1; +2 if he continues starting till the Bundesliga review)

N.AMIRI +2 yes, with a few more minutes

A.CHRISTENSEN +2 (+6/+7)

A.THIAGO +1 no, not enough game time

I.WILLIAMS +2 a +1, if he gets a few more minutes till La Liga is reviewed

J.GIMÉNEZ +1 or a +2

Y.FERREIRA CARRASCO +1 no

N.SAUL +1 if he plays some more till La Liga is reviewed

A.HALILOVIĆ +2 +1 - Gijón is mediocre and Halilovic's stats look meh

P.FORNALS +1 yes

D.CEBALLOS +2 a +1, tops, if he keeps playing till La Liga is reviewed

J.VALLEJO +1 if he keeps playing

M.ASENSIO +3 no way in hell - he's already 84 rated; a +1 if he plays some more till La Liga is reviewed

Z.BAKKALI +2 a +1 with some more minutes

M.DÓRIA +1 if anything, he deserves a drop

L.SUAREZ +1 yes

M.BARTRA +1 nope, not enough game time

S.ROBERTO +1 or a +2, as he should continue getting good game time, after he returns from injury

M.LANZINI +1 yes

J.AMAVI +1 no way

H.BELLERÍN +1 for now probably, as he got a +1 already this season; a +2 wouldn't shock me tho

R.KENEDY +2 no rise, unless he starts playing on a more regular basis

O.AINA +2 no game time at senior level, so I don't see why he should rise

J.STONES +1 maybe

B.GALLOWAY +2 (+4/+5)

R.LUKAKU +1 yes

J.ONOMAH +2 +1

E.DIER +1 +2

T.ALDERWEIRELD +1/stay probably stay for now

M.DEMBELE +1/stay stay

K.IHEANACHO +3 a +1, tops (he got a +2 at the beginning of the season and he doesn't even have 300 minutes of game time so far

K.DE BRUYNE +1 yes

A.PEREIRA +2 if he gets a few more minutes

D.ALLI +1 same as Sané

A.MARTIAL +1 yes

J.LINGARD +2 +1

V.VAN DIJK +1 yes

My opinion is in red.

Bear in mind that this is what they deserve, not necessarily what they'll get.

Halilovic absolutely deserves a +2 he's been sensational for Sporting. stats? who cares about stats! they're a tiny club and he has them playing genuinely good football and competing.

Neymar +1

Suárez +1

Busquets +1

Piqué +1 (should have never dropped, and should have gotten it back after the Treble)

Alba +1

Griezmann +1

Godin +1 (should have been 95 a couple years ago tbh)

Gimenez +2

Koke +1

Saúl +1

Varane +1 (or a +2 just because he should already BE rated 92)

Keylor +1

Nacho +1

Casemiro +1

Iñaki Williams +2

Lucas Perez +2

Agirretxe +1

are all essential rises for me.

I don't believe that suarez will get it since his rating didn't change with his brilliant season with liverpool...

Steven , how many message you will delete till I get an answear ? WILL YOU DROPE OR NOT SOCCERWIKI FROM THE GAME ?

Don't do this on this thread. I'll answer it for you: Soccerwiki isn't getting dropped. It's flawed, but it's the way SM have decided to proceed with rating changes.

I felt Salah should've gotten a +1 with his form for Roma this season, but I think his injury and the fact that they only gave him his previous plus one in September worked against him. Gonzalo Rodriguez also continues to be underrated and stuck on 89 in a Fiorentina team that he captains but also basically runs defensively. Didn't have players in the Italian league other than those to tho, so the changes didn't really affect me otherwise, though they seemed decent.

I'm shocked that none of Juve's high rated players dropped.

Not even Khedira and Asamoah!

One would think Juve's having a good season...

Tatarusanu deserved a +2, as did Hysaj.

Rossi should have dropped, like Castán, Nagatomo, Mario Suárez, Verdú and Palacio.

Marcos Alonso didn't deserve to rise and Strootman has been injured for ages now.

I've seen many players - most of them oldies - play regularly and well in the past and still drop (Alonso or Terry, for instance).

At this rate, Strootman will retire 91 rated, without getting more game time...  :P

Brozovic's rise was a pathetic joke: from 87 to 88 with less than 600 minutes of game time!!!

And I only analyzed the 5 best placed Italian clubs in the league, having been lenient with drops for many players.

Since SW has lowered the bar immensely, I guess this was a good review.  :D

PS: I didn't think Eloge Yao was gonna be reviewed this early, with Inter.

I thought he was gonna be reviewed a few months from now, in those sporadic reviews.

A +3 would have been fine for now.

But when David García (Osasuna) got a +7 to 82, with 540 minutes of game time, one's gotta wonder where the freakin' consistency is.

Because, let's face it: if Yao keeps playing and Crotone get promoted, he's gotta have to end the season with at least 82.

Let explain you why Juventus' players didin't drop: they were injuried for long time like Fiorentina forward Giuseppe Rossi and Leandro Castan (Strootman too, but I suppose you are thinking to Badstuber finally drop last year). Marcos Alonso deserved +1 because he is a starter and he has having a good season. Suarez drop should be too early. You are right about Palacio, he deserved a drop as well Yuto Nagatomo instead Medel and Kondogbia rises are not deserved.

I know SW doesn't drop injured players, but this is a joke, when those players are always injured.

You're right about Alonso - last time I checked he was injured, but now he has enough game time to warrant that 87 -> 88 rise.

Suárez should have dropped imo: he was a bench warmer for Atleti, as he is now for Fiorentina.

Medel deserved to rise imo: great Copa América with champions Chile and a vital player for the Serie A leader.

I agree with you on Kondogbia.

He didn't deserve to get to 89 and now to 90.

Was hoping Falque might get a +1...

Is the Italian review over?

Yup. To be fair, he didn't deserve a +1, even if he did earn a big move to Roma. He's not done enough in Salah's place while he's been injured, and is nothing more than a sub when everyone's fit. 88 suits him until he becomes a bigger player for Roma, or Roma do better in Serie A or the Champions League.

They raised Bertolacci to 89, playing what amounts to quarter of a season for what's pretty much a midtable team. Iago Falque has gotten more minutes, playing for a better team, and in the champions league. Deserved it a hell of a lot more
