Was it groin or much centered? I know the pain.

Btw why was a football player playing golf? Sea horses don't run in Derby races do they?

I get your point...but I can tell you that former West Indian cricketer Sir Garfield Sobers was an excellent golfer. PLayed right and left handed with a handicap of 1 (LH) and 2 (RH)

150x_feyenoord.jpg                    V                    150x_Manchester-City.jpg

Prediction: As mentioned Manchester City travel to Feyenoord in match one with manager Noisy needing to create something special to resurrect their season. Feyenoord too strong - although a bit erratic. feret is injured for the home side and El Ghazi still suspended for the visitors. Home Win. 1-0

Moukandjo picked up his fourth MOTM of the season with and outstanding performance at the DeKuip stadium today. He opened the scoring in the 4th minute after a strong run by Werner that whistled through Rulli's fingers and the writing was on the wall for City. To their credit the light blues tried valiantly to get back into the game and chances fell to both teams but there was nor further score in the first half. It took until the 55th minute for Regini to put his foot through one from close range giving the keeper no chance. Moukandjo, who now has 11 goals and 9 assists in a stellar season, picked up the final goal with an hour just gone from a through ball from Ward-Prowse. City were better...but not good enough. Final Score 3-0

150xafc-ajax.jpg                    V                    150x_Sunderland.jpg

Prediction: Ajax will host Sunderland who have lost two on the bounce and have only one win in six. Ajax however are not a lot better with only 2 points more than their opposition in the the last six games. Both sides are at full strength. Sunderland will need to really improve after their last performance while Ajax showed signs of a revival. Forecasting a draw for this one in the hope that Huddo will not let me down again. 1-1

Manager Huddo just hates it when we suggest his team will struggle and he fired them up to take the points in Amsterdam. Conceding an nearly goal  is never a good start so when Danny Ings knocked in the first after only 3 minutes it was always going to be an uphill battle for the home side and with Sunderland Keeper in MOTM form it was going to be almost impossible. In the 23rd minute Kostic took a great pass from Inaki Williams to make it 2-0. Sunderland sat back now and Ajax simply could not find a way through and then, after getting a foul from a fast break, Miranchuk showed exactly how to score from a free kick with an absolute cracker of a shot that Ryan rooted to the spot. Final Score 3-0

150x_Stuttgart_FC.jpg                    V                    150x_hannover-96.jpg

Prediction: Stuttgart won a way from home in the corresponding fixture this season and will be without the suspended Whelan (unusual to see that really) and Hanover have not lost agame in the last 7 but are without Morel and Hoolahan through injury and Flanagan through suspension. If Boufal and Oliveira fire in this game Stuttgart will win and strangely there is only one match difference between the two teams from their last six games. However Hanover have been very strong away from home so I will go for them to win this one. 2-1

As predicted Hanover were too strong for the home side despite a MOTM performance from goalscorer Boufal. in the 61st minute from the spot. In a spiteful game where the referee let a lot go Hanovers second also came from a penalty which Amrabat converted in the 27th minute but their opening gaol, again the early goal was important, came in just the fourth minute through recently returned Leon Osman with a dipping long range shot after controlling a high ball from Rodriguez and taking a touch before thumping it past Areola.Final Score 1-2

150x_psg.jpg                    V                    150xATMadrid.jpg

Prediction: PSG will welcome Madrid to the French Capital in what should be a very close game. If Manager Lucas can get his players fired up for this one it should be an away win but manager Cookie has been getting so good results as his team struggle to avoid the the drop. I will go for a draw here. 3-1

Another GK MOTM with home keeper Zoet given the nod. Madrid had more of the ball and more shots on target but the keeper kept scores even. Manager Lucas was disappointed not to come away with all three points and also seemed concerned about Jordan Lukaku spending more time waving to someone in the crowd than watching the game. Final Score 0-0

150x1.-fc-koln-8.jpg                    V                    150x_eintracht-frankfurt.jpg

Prediction: Cologne will host Frankfurt in a must win game for both sides. Frankfurt have managed a couple of wins in a row with cologne now three matches without a point. Defoe will be missed by the visitors as he recovers from a groin strain. Cologne cannot afford to drop points in this game but a draw is the best I can see them getting. 3-2

Cologne finally awoke from their recent slumbers to post an excellent win in their derby game with Eintracht. A foul on Coman in the 24th minute resulted in a penalty easily converted by Rabiot. ANOTHER MOTM GK performance by Sportiello was not enough to stop a second to Lucas Ocampos as Cologne seemed to grow with confidence into the game. Final Score 2-0

150x_newcastle.jpg                    V                    150x_Seattle_Sounders_FC.jpg

Prediction: Newcastle will take on Seattle as 1 play 5. Newcastle are at full strength and have won 5 out of their last 6 with one loss while the leaders have won 5 of their last 6 with a draw to go one better. Foket will be missing through suspension for the visitors and this will be a cracker in which I am going for the two sides to cancel each other out. A draw forecast. 3-3

It is really frustrating trying to forecast games when each one of them is being decided by a MOTM GK. Newcastle had 58% of the ball, 7 shots on target to four and lost 2-0 courtesy of a 4th minute strike from Clinton N'Jie who makes it 13 for the season. Manager JustinX was vocal after the game about how good his side were but in fact they were outplayed on the day and had to rely on the 'keeper to give them the win. Berahino contributed a second cracker of a goal in the 79th minute to tie up the result but manager Webb will be EXTREMELY frustrated with this game. Final Score 0-2

150x_Guangzhou-Evergrande.jpg                    V                    150x_Celtic.jpg

Prediction: Celtic will travel to Guangzhou looking to avoid another MOTM GK game and this is a dangerous one for the Scots with the home side sneaking points in their road to recovery. I will forecast the away win...but the visitors will have to be careful. The home side will be without the injured Coates. 4-3

The grand recovery faltered a little today as Guangzhou were unable to cope with a Celtic team showing their frustrations from their loss last week. With 60% of the ball and a defence that restricted the home side to not one shot on target Manager Gozzy still has work to do to get his team back onto the road to success. Again the game started with an early goal. The game was only 2 minutes old when Maurice-Belay struck home with an almost perfect free kick to make it one nil. Sels was kept busy for the rest of the half while Oyarzabal fired over the bar a couple of times. Sels made a good save early in the second half from Hojberg but could not prevent Keane finding Cana just onside to fire home the second. In the 82nd minute Sels went for a 50/50 ball with Keane and was a little late which resulted in a penalty that Keane himself dispatched sending the keeper the wrong way. Final Score 3-0

150x_clubamerica.jpg                    V                     150x_Hertha-BSC.jpg

Prediction: Finally Club America will host Berlin in a game that is really too close to call. The balance may be tipped in favour of the visitors given they are three games without a loss and the home side will be missing Cheryshev through injury and Baston through suspension. Away win to the Germans 4-4

The visitors had 56% of the ball and CA had only one shot on target...but it went in to give them a share of the points at the Estadia Azteca. In the 6th minute Asensio found himself unmarked ion the 6 yard box after some excellent work by Renato Sanches to open the scoring. After that they would not get another shot on target. Shane Long gave a MOTM performance eventually scoring the equalizer in the 71st minute after Campbell made a great run and cross but in the end there was not quite enough quality on the Berlin finishing to get the points. Final Score 1-1

MATCH DAY 20

Feyenoord will host their local enemy Ajax in our first game and Ajax will be looking to recover that spark that they had earlier in the season. Ajax have not managed to beat Feyenoord this seasonlosing 4-0 in the cup and drawing 2-2 in the earlier league fixture. To be honest I cannot see that changing. Home win here. Feret is unavailable for the home side through injury.

Sunderland will be missing Tibbling also injured and will not be back for quite a while yet. After their big win last round manager Huddo will expecting a similar result from a side with only 1 win in their last 5 games. Home Win forecast.

Hanover will be without morel (inj) and Flanagan (Sus) for their home game against PSG but I think will still be too strong for the visitors.Hanover beat PSG in Paris and this should prove harder as the away side. Home Win here.

Atletico will receive a visit from a resurgent Cologne but will the resurgence be strong enough to get points out of Atletico at Home. Both squads are at full strength. Home Win Forecast.

Einracht will see Newcastle at the other end of the pitch when the whistle goes next match. They are coming off a loss while Newcastle, who also lost their last match, will be more agrieved and looking for justice. Away win forecast here. Frankfurt will be without Defoe.

Seattle are coming off a rather fortunate win when they face Guangzhou who are valiantly trying to resurrect this season. Seattle's luck has to run out some time and this may be the match. Predicting a huge upset here to the visiting side. Guangzhou will be without the injured Coates and Dembele.

Celtic will play host to Club America who beat the Scots 1-0 in a very fortunate manner in the first half of the season. Both squads are at full strength but Celtic too strong at home. Home win forecast.

Manchester City will be visited by Hertha Berlin in the last game of the day looking for a way out of the relegation zone. On paper this is a home win but City do not seem all there at the moment and i think they will lose again. Away win forecast. El Ghazi will not be seen in this one as he is out suspended.

What? Who's this Venk? Couldn't Hertha get pens down to some van Gaal like stuff? He's available. Why Venk?

Ajax have not managed to beat Feyenoord this seasonlosing 4-0 in the cup and drawing 2-2 in the earlier league fixture. To be honest I cannot see that changing. Home win here. Feret is unavailable for the home side through injury. 1-0

The early goal can win you games and the visitors got it through Origi that Boruc could not reach. However this can backfire if the opposition can recover quickly to knock the wind out of your sails...and Darren Fletcher got the equaliser just one minute later thanks to Ward-Prowse and Ajax switching off after the celebration. Germain made it 2-1 just on the half hour as the home side came more and more into the game and Ward-Prowse completed a MOTM performance when he slotted home in the 72nd minute to secure the win. Telles showed his frustration and received a second yellow with about 15 to go and will miss the next game which means that Ajax currently lead the red card count. Final Score 3-1

Prediction: Sunderland will be missing Tibbling also injured and will not be back for quite a while yet. After their big win last round manager Huddo will expecting a similar result from a side with only 1 win in their last 5 games. Home Win forecast. 2-0

The only disappointment for Manager Huddo out of this game will be that his side only scored 2 goals. With a massive 70% of the ball and 7 shots to 1 on target he would have expected more in the net. Both goals came in the second half through Defender Douglas in the 55th minute and young midfielder Ceballos in the 88th. Douglas got MOTM Final Score 2-0

Prediction: Hanover will be without morel (inj) and Flanagan (Sus) for their home game against PSG but I think will still be too strong for the visitors.Hanover beat PSG in Paris and this should prove harder as the away side. Home Win here. 3-0

In a hard fought game PSG could not quite produce the quality in the final third needed for a result. With goals in each half MOTM Amrabat opened the scoring in the 22nd minute after a great ball from Osman to drill the ball home. Rodriguez made it safe in the second half with a magnificent curling free kick after a foul on Amrabat in the 80th. Final Score 2-0

Prediction: Atletico will receive a visit from a resurgent Cologne but will the resurgence be strong enough to get points out of Atletico at Home. Both squads are at full strength. Home Win Forecast. 4-0 (Impressive!)

Atletico completed a very workmanlike performance allowing the visitors only two shots on target. MOTM Rugani oppened the scoring in the 14th minute, Ighalo scored on the half hour to make it two and the home side shut down in the second half to close out the game. Manager Moyes will be VERY disappointed with young star Julian Weigl getting sent off with only a minute to go.  Final Score 2-0

Prediction: Eintracht will see Newcastle at the other end of the pitch when the whistle goes next match. They are coming off a loss while Newcastle, who also lost their last match, will be more aggrieved and looking for justice. Away win forecast here. Frankfurt will be without Defoe. 4-1 (Well that put an end to that run hey)

When Charlie Austin scored the first in the 19th minute and with MOTM Keeper Rico playing a blinder it looked all set for an away victory for the Toon. But again the quick response deflated the vistors as Coman struck back one minute later after a pass from Niang and while they were still reeling Newcastle conceded again courtesy of another Niang ball this time to Talisca. The second half was full of the words "Rico saves again" but no change to the score. fianl Score 2-1

Prediction: Seattle are coming off a rather fortunate win when they face Guangzhou who are valiantly trying to resurrect this season. Seattle's luck has to run out some time and this may be the match. Predicting a huge upset here to the visiting side. Guangzhou will be without the injured Coates and Dembele. 4 1/2 - 1 1/2 (Well it is still a huge upset)

The sixth MOTM performance for the season and the loss of Gerson to a red card just before half time meant it was a mixed afternoon for the visitors who will be more than happy to leave with a point. Seattle clocked up 64% possession and had 14 shots to two (most of those against ten men) but the visitors hung on with great tenacity to share the points. Neves (9) and the ever impressive N'Jie (34) made it two nil by half time and with the red card as well things looked ominous for the visitors. However Guangzhou came out in the second half with the home side thinking this would be easy from here but their inability to score left gaps at the back that cost them through two quick breaks. Elvedi in the 49th Minute and Capa in the 69th minute sent the visiting fans into delirium. Manager Justin will be furious with his side for not closing this game out. Manager Gozzy well pleased with the result. Final Score 2-2

150x_Celtic.jpg                    V                    150x_clubamerica.jpg

Prediction: Celtic will play host to Club America who beat the Scots 1-0 in a very fortunate manner in the first half of the season. Both squads are at full strength but Celtic too strong at home. Home win forecast.4 1/2 - 2 1/2

Manager Christopher only had one word for the media after this game - disappointing against a side with a caretaker manager. With 64% of the ball and 5 shots to 2 on target it should have been a home win but Rashford and co left their scoring boots in the locker. MOTM Cheryshev found the net courtesy of a 34th minute penalty, not the first conceded by his team this season, and the game was gone. Final Score 0-1

150x_Manchester-City.jpg                     V                     150x_Hertha-BSC.jpg

Prediction: Manchester City will be visited by Hertha Berlin in the last game of the day looking for a way out of the relegation zone. On paper this is a home win but City do not seem all there at the moment and i think they will lose again. Away win forecast. El Ghazi will not be seen in this one as he is out suspended. 4 1/2 - 3 1/2

manchester City finally found their A Game with Rafinha producing a MOTM performance against Berlin, from whom more was expected.Julian Brandt scored in the 18th minute to get them on track and Rafinha put the second away in the 71st to confirm the win. In a shock move manager Whisperr resigned citing difficulties with the Board to take up the vacant position at Club America. Final Score 2-0

MATCH DAY 21

PREDICTION: Ajax will host Man City to kick off the round. Manager Laura V needs to dig into her back of tricks and a lot will depend on which Man City team turns up. Ajax need a win desperately so I am forecasting them to recover some of their form. Home Win.

PREDICTION:  Stuttgart will have to cope with the high scoring Feyenoord, only Seattle have scored more, if they are to take any joy from this game. Stuttgart are without a win in their last four while Feyenoord have won three on the bounce. Away Win Forecast.

PREDICTION:  PSG really need a win as the relegation teams close on them...they are only one point out of the drop zone again. Sunderland on the other hand seem to have found some form and won the first round 3-0. Tibbling is still sidelined. Away win here

PREDICTION:  Cologne will be without Weigl for their home match against Hanover who are unbeaten with 5 wins and a draw from their last 6 and are up into third place. Cologne have slipped further into the mire of relegation and another loss could really see them in trouble. Away Win.

PREDICTION:  Long time rival Matthew Webb and Cameron Lucas will face off at St James' Park in an enthralling game between 7 and 8. Newcastle have lost two in a row and their inconsistency still haunts them with three wins and three losses in their last 6. Atletico have two draws and three wins from their last 5 and are on the up. I can see this one as a draw.

PREDICTION:  Guangzhou host Frankfurt with the bottom side looking unlikely to escape relegation but fighting hard to retain some respect in the league with effort and dedication. Capa and Dembele are out injured for the home side and Gerson is suspended, Defoe still missing for the visitors. Give this an Away win is most likely.

PREDICTION:  Club America under the management of Newcomer Whisperr will take on the might of Seattle in Mexico and the new manager will have something to prove after his defection from Berlin. Tolisso is still suspended for Seattle and of course leading scorer N'Jie is the home sides biggest problem. Home win Forecast under new management.

PREDICTION:  New Manager Venk will get his first run with his new club when Berlin host the disappointing Celtic in the final game of the round. Riedewald is out injured for the visitors. A difficult game to predict in the circumstances but I will vote for the return of the main strike force from injury being the catalyst for an away win.

N'Jie leading the golden boot by three goals...Ajax leading the red card list...Three clubs so far with no red cards Celtic, Berlin and Frankfurt...Stuttgart have 19 Yellows this season so far... three of the top four MOTM winners to date are goalkeepers (go figure) with Celtics Keane the leading outfield player...best average performance scores Embolo 7.56, R. Keane 7.50...most assists 10 D Suarez and Ronaldinho.

PREDICTION:

PREDICTION: Ajax will host Man City to kick off the round. Manager Laura V needs to dig into her back of tricks and a lot will depend on which Man City team turns up. Ajax need a win desperately so I am forecasting them to recover some of their form. Home Win. 0-1 (and the rest do not look any better...)

A MOTM GK performance from big Aussie Matt Ryan was not enough to save Ajax who slumped to their third straight defeat and now have only one point from the last possible 18. From the Manchester side it is amazing how well a team can do without a manager given it is now 14 days since Noisy visited his teams home ground. Captain Cambiasso scored the winner in the 75th minute with a brilliant free kick so it was by no means a convincing win but Ajax will need to find a new formula going forward. Final Score 0-1

150x_Stuttgart_FC.jpg                    V                   150x_feyenoord.jpg

PREDICTION:  Stuttgart will have to cope with the high scoring Feyenoord, only Seattle have scored more, if they are to take any joy from this game. Stuttgart are without a win in their last four while Feyenoord have won three on the bounce. Away Win Forecast. 0-2 (sigh)

Feyenoords Diego Reyes received his marching orders in this 6 goal end to end thriller at the Mercedes Benz Arena which kept the crowd on their toes. Stuttgart in the end just could not hold out the Feyenoord attack after fighting back from an early goal to lead for a large part of the game. Propper opened the scoring for the visitors in just the 4th minute after some great lead up work from MOTM Ward-Prowse but Stuttgart struck back 5 minutes later through brilliant young midfielder Riechedly Bazoer. In the 25th minute Ward-Prowse got his name on the score sheet from a perfect through ball from Moukandjo but it again only took Stuttgart 5 minutes to respond...Bazoer again with a 22 yard screamer. Just 8 minutes later they took the lead for the first time when Ulloa, making only his third start of the season, beat the keeper again from range. The game was in Stuttgarts hands to win as they defended well and still found time to cause problems for the visitors but they made the fatal mistake of giving away a careless free kick within range and Moukandjo scored and an absolute cracker with a curling, dipping strike that left Areola stationary. Great Game...great result. Final Score 3-3

150x_psg.jpg                    V                    150x_Sunderland.jpg

PREDICTION:  PSG really need a win as the relegation teams close on them...they are only one point out of the drop zone again. Sunderland on the other hand seem to have found some form and won the first round 3-0. Tibbling is still sidelined. Away win here 0-3

Butland again had a poor game as Sunderland wasted possession and were simply unable to overcome the passionate Frenchmen. When Inaki Williams opened the scoring in the 24th minute is seemed Sunderland were well on track. Only 7 minutes later Williams had the ball in the net again only to be ruled offside.Suddenly however Sunderland seemed to think it all looked to easy and started playing as if they were three nil up with 5 to go allowing Marin to find Beauvue who scuffed his shot but did enough to equalise the scores. Just 8 minutes into the second half Routledge used his electric pace to get around his marker and found Padoin who beat the keeper to steal the lead. Sunderland switched on again but too late and the home side saw the game out. Final Score 2-1

150x1.-fc-koln-8.jpg                     V                    150x_hannover-96.jpg

PREDICTION:  Cologne will be without Weigl for their home match against Hanover who are unbeaten with 5 wins and a draw from their last 6 and are up into third place. Cologne have slipped further into the mire of relegation and another loss could really see them in trouble. Away Win. 0-4 (SOB!)

In a game that never rose to great heights and both teams seemed to want to cancel each other out rather than win the match, it took until the 52nd minute before the deadlock was broken. The home side had been creating the better chances and really only MOTM keeper Adrian had kept his team in it to date, but even he could not stop Bernardeschi when Cavaleiro found him unlarked in the 6 yard box with an inch perfect pass and he beat the diving keeper for the only goal of the game. Final Score 1-0

A point to start off

Hertha BSC 1-1 Celtic

Venk kicked off his Hertha career with a 1-1 draw against Celtic in Germany. The German side hosted the Scottish side in an all important game as the host looked to avoid relegation while the visitors continued their push for silverware. The Berlin side had a new lease of life under incoming manager Venk who took the sidelines for the first time at the Olympiastadion. Celtic started the brightest of the two sides and grabbed a goal in the 11th minute through Maurice-Belay. Venk's Hertha took time to recover from this early blow and they some how prevented themselves from conceding another goal against a dangerous looking Celtic at half time.

Hertha started the second half brightly and continued to push for a equalizer while Celtic tried to have upper hand on the game again through quick counter-attacks. The stadium erupted in the 71st minute Quintero found Cardona with a sublime through pass and the Columbian midfielder made no mistake in slotting the ball past Rajkovic. Both teams continued to look for the vital goal to grab all three points but match ended in a hard fought 1-1 draw.

The draw sees Hertha sit 5 points from the drop zone with 9 games to go.

1-4 (Complete embarrassment avoided - phew)

Newcastle relied on MOTM Rico to keep them in this game but only had one less shot on target than the visitors. Jese opened the scoring 36 minutes in latching on to a through ball from Zaha and firing home. It looked for a long time like this would be the final score but just when the finishing line was in site new signing Di Natale, who had only come on the pitch 9 minutes earlier, showed his class getting on to a Sturaro free kick to even the scores. Final Score 1-1

150x_Guangzhou-Evergrande.jpg                     V                    150x_eintracht-frankfurt.jpg

PREDICTION:  Guangzhou host Frankfurt with the bottom side looking unlikely to escape relegation but fighting hard to retain some respect in the league with effort and dedication. Capa and Dembele are out injured for the home side and Gerson is suspended, Defoe still missing for the visitors. Give this an Away win is most likely. 2-4

Coach Gozzy will be pleased with his squad who, missing three of their top players, still took the game to the visitors and really it took Frankfurt an hour to get on top in the game. on the hour mark MOTM Coman found Balde in the six yard box and the young striker fired home in style. With 10 minutes to go it was Correa who made the gap for Defender Cameron to get forward and score his first of the campaign. Final Score 0-2

Seattle opened the scoring on 18 minutes when the prolific N'Jie turned provider for Ronaldinho to fire home from close range. The game progressed fairly evenly for the rest of the first half with both sides failing to create meaningful chances. However 5 minutes into the second half the refereeing interfered with the game when Neves was sent from the field after being adjudged to have connected with Baston with an elbow. Replays suggested that contact was probably negligible and Baston made the most of it, hitting the ground like a felled tree but recovering quickly once the card was issued. Against ten men the home side began to assert themselves and with 6 minutes to go Christensen found Nkoudou who sent the keeper the wrong way to even the scores. New manager Whisperr thought it was a fair start and will be working with his side to return them to the top of the league. Final Score 1-1

PREDICTION:  New Manager Venk will get his first run with his new club when Berlin host the disappointing Celtic in the final game of the round. Riedewald is out injured for the visitors. A difficult game to predict in the circumstances but I will vote for the return of the main strike force from injury being the catalyst for an away win.2-6 (Waits for smart remark from Lucas)

It is said in football that you never want to be the team playing for a new manager and so it proved in the final match of this round. Manager Venk took the field to a rousing response from the Berlin faithful and left to similar adulation after his side held Celtic to a creditable draw. Maurice-Belay again showed his class by opening the scoring just 11 minutes in with a classic free kick that sailed in out of reach of the keeper. It took until the 71st minute for the equaliser to arrive when some clever footwork from Quintero put Cardona through on goal and he converted with style to level the scores. Berlin tried hard but could not get all three points but Manager Venk will be pleased with his first game in charge. Final Score 1-1

Ajax and Stuttgart on 26 points are getting far too close to the relegation battle for their liking now only three points away from the drop.

MATCH DAY 22

PREDICTION: Ajax will play host to Stuttgart for the opening game of round 22 and this is a genuine 6 point game with both sides only 6 points clear of the drop zone the team that loses this one could be in the relegation zone after this round, depending on other results. Ajax will be without Correa who is still suspended and Defender Dawson will be out through injury for the visitors. Both teams have lost three of their last four and a draw seems like the logical result.

PREDICTION: Feyenoord will take on PSG having failed to take full advantage of an opportunity to catch the league leaders last round. PSG were beaten 3-1 in Paris in the early rounds and are struggling to maintain steady form however a win would see them moving away from the relegation Zone. Away win most likely in this one.

PREDICTION: Sunderland need to lift their game if they are to take points from a resurgent Cologne who will be feeling more confident about avoiding the drop after a last round win. Ocampos is still suspended for the visitors and Tibbling still recovering from injury for the home side. Last time they met Cologne won by the odd goal and Manager Huddo will not want a similar result...but I am afraid he might get it. Home win forecast.

PREDICTION: Hanover, beaten in their last game, will host the Toon Army out for glory and chomping at the bit to improve their standing for prize money for next season. Newcastle are still highly unpredictable in their form and I am forecasting Hanover to recover their poise and take the points here.

PREDICTION: Atletico will host Guangzhou next and despite the fact that the Chinese side are improving their results, Madrid will be too strong for them in Spain. Home Win.

PREDICTION: Eintracht will get a visit from Whisperr and his Club America side when 8th meets 6th in this mid table battle. The Germans are coming off a strong away win against Guangzhou while CA struggled to take control at home and came away with a point from their last game. Their new Manager will want a better result from his new squad and an away win is forecast.

PREDICTION: New kid on the block Venk will take his side to leaders Seatlle for their next game in what is a very dangerous game for the home side. The new guys is an unknown quantity but comes with good credentials and a reputation for getting the job done. A second draw for the new boy is forecast.

PREDICTION: Manchester City will be at home to Celtic as they travel for the second week in a row. City have been doing very well in the absence of their manager but reallywill have to be able to keep that going to beat a Celtic team feeling a little aggrieved at their last two results. Away win here.
