georgie34 89
Bayern entertain table-topping Juventus tonight hoping to get their season back on track after two straight league defeats and three in all competitions. Bayern have their injury concerns as both Payet and Ribery have knocks keeping them out of the next couple of matches. This has given former player of the year Robben a chance to shine on the left flank. He like Payet and Ribery is prone to injuries. Bayern boss Roper is praying both his goalscorers Muller and in-particular Benzema can fire his side towards three points in order to put some pressure on runaway leaders Juventus. Middle_Finger 704
"REVENGE MATCH" After too much hype and attention created by the media of Thumbs_up's Juventus visiting Allianz Arena which was coined as the "Revenge Match" went underway last night. The circumstances escalated even more when Bayern's manager Pat decided to take his full squad to a church and decided to pray to God for a win in full public view and in front of a microphone. This was termed as a PR failure by both the leading German newspaper Bild and Italian sports news Gazzetta. Alas the night arrived and the whisper was that Thumbs_up had a masterstroke tactical plan going in to the match. And what a plan it was, from the beginning Juventus were on the front foot and always dictated the play with their possession based football. Though Bayern forced and countered Juventus between 60-75 mins, which was expected from a team of such calibre but they couldn't break the Juventus Wall and level the score. Juventus easily ran out as 2-1 winners with the score not showing how comfortable The Old Lady were. STRIKING PROBLEMS Juventus strikers were under huge pressure going into the match and they did no favour to decrease it with yet another stalement in front of goal. Thumbs_up decided to start with only Lacazette and Dybala was benched and Morata was not even named in the match day squad. The first goal arrived from a very unlikely source, Strootman, who made his first appearance after 3 match ban. The game was put to bed when an unknown Argentine striker, Alario netted the second to put the game beyond Bayern's reach. Though a very late goal (82 min) from Bayern made sure the match ended as interestingly as the start. But Bayern were outplayed since then and Juventus comfortably saw the game through. EVERGREEN BUFFON Gigi Buffon again proved his worth to this Juventus team with scintillating performance throughout. Though Bayern had many shots but only few to trouble the caliber of Buffon. It was such a team performance by Juventus that anyone could have been named MoM, but Gigi's presence and leadership saw him collect the champagne. georgie34
georgie34 89
After an awful couple of weeks most recently a defeat against table-topping Juventus Roper looks set to ring the changes for Bayern's clash with PSG. Injuries mean Bayern are still without both Payet & Ribery. Loss of form to several key players means a change of tactical approach may be what's required?
georgie34 89
Bayern were very fortunate to overcome PSG by a single goal 1-0. PSG had the better of the match but luckily for Bayern they are struggling for form more than the Germans - not sure how that is possible? Bayern then got well beaten 1-3 by D Kyiv in the Champions Cup. Several players were rested granted but still a shocking scoreline. Next up for Bayern this Thursday is a clash with an in-form Real Madrid. Not looking forward to it
Middle_Finger 704
CAN CITY DO IT? After Juventus defeated Dhruv's man city in the first fixture, things have gone pretty well for both the clubs. Thumbs_up's Juventus is on an unbeaten run and man city have bought smartly to improve their squad. But the biggest change in fortune came man city's way when they blatantly copied the Juventus' formation after getting beaten by 4-2 scoreline. The question is can man city beat Juventus in their own game? Let's wait and watch prople , let's wait and watch. FORZA JUVE !!

Middle_Finger 704
UNBEATEN RUN ENDS Juventus' nine unbeaten league matches comes to an abrupt end in the hands of man city. The loss was a consequence of series of indiscipline defending that got the Juventus' manager Thumbs_up fuming in the touchline and post match interview. He pointed out how this was a 4 or 5 times they have conceded from freekicks. The lack of clean sheets was another huge problem facing the team. Thumbs_up uncharacteristically pointed out that newcomer Strootman who was send off twice in just 5 starts. STRIKERS TAKE THE PUNCH Thumbs_up finally lost patience with his misfiring forwards. He showed the door to the young, talented and promising Dybala and in came experienced player Alexis Sanchez in an exchange deal with Arsenal. Thumbs_up also categorically warned both summer signing Morata and Lacazette to start scoring else they will face the boot after their transfer ban. georgie34 and dhruv5588
georgie34 89
A week without a defeat for Bayern which is a platform for the team to build upon given their horrible run of form heading into the match with Real. It ended 1-1 with Ribery levelling things up after Ronaldo had opened the scoring. Next up for Bayern is an easy match-up with lowly Barca. This is a case of all we need to do is show up and bag the three points, but manager Roper wants an impressive performance to go with the three points. Bayern are at full-strength with Payet fit again. Middle_Finger
Middle_Finger 704
JUVENTUS ARE BACK! "We are back" read the front page of a local Italian newspaper. After dismantling PSG in a 2-1 win for Juventus, the familiar song, "sun never sets in Juve" from the away end was relentless and got louder with every passing minute. After Juventus' first loss during the week day everybody was nervous about how the team would react. Whether it will be a series of loses to hand over the top spot. But the action on the pitch said it all. From the first whistle to the last The Old Lady were on the front foot and were deserved winner. SAME OLD PROBLEM Though some including their manager, Thumbs_up raised the question of yet again conceding a goal when the team looked comfortable to another nerve wrecking end to the match. Thumbs_up did agree that the team may suffer from complacency after almost bossing every game bar couple which steals them from clean sheets. But he was happy that the team showed "character" and the will and desire to get back to winning ways. NEW DEFENDER? Thumbs_up did nothing to squeeze the rumours that a deal for a high profile defender has been struck. He was very diplomatic in his answer saying the world have to wait for 15th or 16 November to see for themselves if the rumour is true. He did however say any high profile incoming will result in a quality player leaving Juventus FC to comply with the rules. georgie34

georgie34 89
Tonight Bayern should be edging closer to safety with three points over Man Utd. Both sides have been down on their luck recently with both sides getting beaten on a more than regular basis. Utd are locked in a three-way relegation battle with Barcelona and PSG. Bayern are set for mid-table obscurity unless they can get a run of wins going? Bayern have Pepe missing through suspension but apart from that have the rest of the squad in good order. Middle_Finger 704
THE LOST CHANCE This week was considered crucial for Juventus FC. During the weekdays Thumbs_Ups Juventus traveled to then 2nd placed Stamford Bridge, looking to extend their lead at top of the table. And what a performance it was. Juventus outwitted Chelsea in both style of play and performance, ultimately winning 0-3 to extend the lead to 6 points. And in the process sending Chelsea to 3rd in the table. Next challenge for The Old Lady was playing host to new 2nd place holder Real Madrid. It was a match of tactical nous and mind games. Most of the time the game was played in middle of the park with both teams giving nothing away. But a superb play by Juventus opened the RM defence and Lacazette scored (Yes a striker, finally!). There was nothing in the game till RM equalised and Pereyra failing to win it for Juventus late on with a great play by the host. This was a missed opportunity considering all the nearby teams drew as well. TRANSFER HAVOC!! With two managers resigning from the GW, the agreed deal for a player was thrown out of the window. Thumbs_Up declined to comment on the matter but disappointment was clearly evident on his face. Juventus' transfer committee now have all to do it.

Since I got a team with good rated players, you and every other managers lost the league that very same day. Evaluate your season and try to finish second. Let's be honest that's the best and highest position available. PEACE OUT (mic dropped)
