georgie34 89
Bayern Season 1 Review The target set by the club was to finish in the top two, but Bayern fell just short finishing third. It proved to be a very turbulent season for the German giants. Bayern were the only team in Div 1 to win at least 50% of their matches which indicates their lack on consistency, considering the two teams that finished above them won fewer. A good performance was always followed by a disappointing one. The lowest point of a disappointing season came when Bayern suffered at the hands of rock bottom PSG not once but twice. To put that into context PSG only managed three wins all season. By the time manager Roper realised where the problems were it was to late. GK Bravo was shipped out to make space for Courtois who ensure there was more of a presence between the sticks. Sure enough despite a nightmare debut, he then kept two clean sheets to finish off the season with. In turn that should give the defence more confidence for the start of next season. Another and perhaps more concerning issue for Bayern was their continued injury and disciplinary problems. Constantly Bayern were unable to field key players. Captain Lahm missed 40% of league games. Overall an underwhelming season, but Bayern will go into the new season with some confidence following two back-to-back wins at the end of this season. Middle_Finger 704
JUVENTUS' Season 1 Review Thumbs_up's Juventus began the season in scintillating form by making history in most games won in a row and most games unbeaten in a row straight away. Though Thumbs_up did question his team about their lack of clean sheets during that period. After few weeks it was clear that Juventus' strikers (dybala, lacazette and morata) were all having hard time in front of goal. Nevertheless their good run overshadowed any shortcomings during that period. Then came the time everybody was fearful of. Just one win in 13 matches (W-1, D-4, L-8) had their manager fearing the worst scenario possible. In that time Juventus lost the QF of shield and the final of the cup competitions. Thumbs_up tried to get off of the situation by exchanging Dybala for Sanchez, hoping for some much needed goals from his front man. Still Sanchez took 6 matches to get off the mark and Juventus' prolific scorer Gaitan was forever stuck on 9 goals. By the time Thumbs_up realised that Sanchez and Gaitan cannot play together, Juventus already slipped to 3rd in the table. Still there was a chance to get back to the summit and retain the top spot only for slipping late late goals against City and RM(eventual winners) to draw both the matches. The lack of clean sheets ultimately proved to be a heavy prize to concede. On the final day of the season Juventus needed to win the match, which they did but it also required for RM to lose, who eventually drew. Thumbs_up's Juventus was crowned the runners-up of division one who ended the season on same points as winner RM, only then to lose it on goal difference. beist and georgie34

Middle_Finger 704
JUVENTUS' GOSSIP COLUMN Bonucci might be heading to United in a direct swap deal Thumbs_Up is considering putting a bid for Lewandowski of Liverpool Though the manager prefers Suarez instead of the Polish striker. If Pjanic in shown the door, Pastore is the likeliest candidate to replace him. Lacazette, Morata and Denis Suarez have all been transfer listed after a below par first season. Juventus manager Thumbs_Up is a big fan of Bale and Javi Martinez. Juventus is putting a bid together to bring back Higuain. georgie34 89
Bayern Transfer News Three players have dominated the German sports papers this week. Three names continue to be linked with Germany's no 1 club. The Argentine international winger Angel Di Maria has publicly set his sights on a summer move to Munich in the off-season. He has been very vocal of his admiration for current Bayern boss Roper and has hinted a move to Germany is very much on the cards. Another player desperate it seems to move to Germany is Croatian midfield dynamo Luca Modric. Modric has just endured an awful season ending up at relegated Barcelona. "The prospect of playing in a side able to compete at the top end and for trophies really excites me" he has been quoted in Bild as saying. If the thought of both Di Maria and Modric were not enough to send pulses of the Bayern faithful going through the roof there was been a third player heavily linked with them over the past few days. Die Welt have revealed that Bayern have recently been in secret talks with English side Liverpool over the future transfer of Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho. It is not yet known weather a future deal has been agreed? On the exit front Roper has appeared to have lost faith with Armenian star Henrikh Mkhitaryan. He has sadly been consistent in providing disappointing performances and looks set to leave. Rumours are that Spanish side Sevilla are very keen on a transfer. dhruv5588

Middle_Finger 704
JUVENTUS' END OF SEASON TRANSFER VERDICT. Reus for Lacazette + D. Suarez + 15m: Juventus' star signing have finally arrived. It was a long pending move agreed several weeks ago. Thumbs_Up let slip Lewandowski and Douglas Costa for this particular transfer, that speaks volume how much Reus is rated by the manager. Hummels for Bonucci: After conceding goals freely during 1st season, which ultimately proved very costly in winning the league, there was little doubt a change was in the horizon. Pique was the first choice to replace Bonucci but his TB proved a hindrance. The good thing about getting Hummel's is though his rating is not that of Bonucci, he is a year and half younger than the former Juve man. N'Zonzi (15.5m): This was the first transfer agreed upon. Though there was some last minute discussion with the board after buying Yaya Toure unexpectedly. Thumbs_Up was adamant to get the deal done. Viscovo(120k): Young vibrant backup to evergreen Buffon. Ozil for Kroos: This was the third transfer between Juventus and arsenal with previously swapping Dybala for Sanchez and Giminez for Xhaka. It was a last minute call by Thumbs_Up mainly because he didn't want to lose Sanchez, who will be getting a rise in rating soon. Apart from being bit cheap in value Juve have too many like to like players in Yaya, Strootman, N'Zonzi, Xhaka and Lemina hence a more attack minded player was preferable. Yaya Toure(8.2m): Though this goes against the norm of signing players above 30, him coming back to the first team irl and scoring a double was enough to take the risk. Henrich(2m): A young versatile player who can play both fullback positions and in midfield. Bought for the future and in case of emergency. Gabiadinni for Soares: Some much needed firepower after Thumbs_ Up got frustrated with the Old Ladies's conversion rate in front on goal especially in the second half of the season. All transfers have been completed. It should be mentioned that Sidibe was part of the Juve plan but his value almost tripling (6m to 16m), Juventus' hands were closed. Middle_Finger 704
JUVENTUS Season 2 Preview. After missing the league title to RM on goal difference, Thumbs_Up's Juventus opens their season 2 fixture by travelling to the bernabeau. The next couple of fixtures doesn't get any easier as their first home game is against the unpredictable Bayern followed by last seasons division 2 champion Atletico Madrid. It goes without saying that Juventus will aim to do the treble again. Thumbs_Up's record against City and Chelsea was unsatisfactory where a win was hard to come by. Juventus managed to get their hands to all their transfer targets but were forced to sell Sidibe due to concern going over the value cap. Though the excitement of the new season has been derailed by the review rating in the game. Who will stay and who will be forced to let go due to the uncertainty, Thumbs_Up promised to their fans for entertainment, entertainment and entertainment !!! beist
Middle_Finger 704
After the first match of the season started in 2-2 draw between RM and Juventus. The challenge to even survive in the league seems a tough job with Atleti getting promotion and rejuvenated Messi's Chelsea. Nevertheless, Juventus' first home match against Bayern in their new increased stadium will create an absolute thunderous atmosphere and Thumbs_Up is relishing to use it to their advantage. Middle_Finger 704
OZIL on fire !!!! Mesut OZILs life at Juventus began in a spectacular fashion after scoring three goals in opening three matches. "Blank-CHEZ" SANCHEZs daft form in front of goal continues to the new season. After wasting chance after chance especially versus Bayern is costing the team significantly. On the other hand, Marcos REUS opened his account for Juventus at the third time of asking. Atleti 2-4 JUVENTUS After two consecutive draws Juventus finally collected all 3 points against a tough opponent in Atletico Madrid. It was a goal fiesta on Christmas day for the away fans, who enjoyed throughout the match. Though the push for a clean sheet continues, after conceding five goals in just three matches. Thumbs_Up refuses to change his attacking tactics knowing full well what cost them the title last season. georgie34
