georgie34 89
After losing to team they have a terrible record against in Juventus last Sunday, Bayern now face a team in Man Utd that they have a fantastic head-to-head with. Man Utd started the season off very well but have since headed south. Bayern have done exactly the opposite. Now form does not tend to hold up in matches such as theses. Quite often the tables are turned when this sort of scenario pops up. I am hoping today is an exception Pat's prediction: Bayern 3-2 Man Utd

georgie34 89
Bayern were on a good run of form relative to their early season form, but have stuttered in their last two league games. Firstly a costly away 0-1 defeat to Man City with veteran De Rossi grabbing the vital and only goal of the match. Then that was followed by a 1-1 draw at home to Man Utd. It could and should have been worse but for the heroics of star keeper Courtois who made several tremendous saves including a late penalty. This Sunday there is no let up. Bayern face a crucial match against defending champions Real Madrid. Now Bayern have a very good overall record against Real since the inception of this league. Real are on course to defend their crown as the currently sit at the top of the table. However, it is so tight and a Bayern victory would move them to within a point of Real. All to play for! georgie34 89
After three consecutive draws in the league against Man Utd, Real Madrid and Atletico we finally manage a 1-0 win against relegation rivals (of which there are now four) Juventus. The only goal of the game was scored by Thiago. Although the stats would indicate we had the better of the match Juventus had a goal disallowed for offside so Bayern can count themselves very fortunate. Bayern's next league fixture is against the side seemingly certain to finish bottom - Zenit. They have done so well to hold their own in Div 1 considering their squad value is markedly less than all the other teams.

georgie34 89
Bayern continue their splendid form and set a new club record of seven league games unbeaten. Two games to go and just a single point separates the top 4clubs. The top 4 all play individually against the bottom 4 in the penultimate round of matches. They then play each other in the final round of matches. You could not have a better script. Sadly for Bayern they will be missing their influential midfielder Thiago for the run-in as he is suspended. Yaya is also out as he is nursing a slight injury.
georgie34 89
We go down to the last day on Thursday with all to play for DIV 1 Atletico v Man City Real Madrid v Bayern Table pts (GD) Man City 45 (4) Real Madrid 44 (13) Bayern 44 (3) Atletico 42 (8) Also Juventus play Man Utd for the right to remain in D1. Anything other than a win for 'Utd will relegate them.
