Rahul W's rating predictions

Yes if you need a CB quickly. Otherwise, would recommend going for someone younger if possible.

Erm.. You know how hard it is for older players to get a rise in SM these days right?

I know but if Bayern win the CL and there is a big chance in that SM must give him +1. But even if he stays at 91 I think it's still the better option between him and Matuidi.

So they've kept Dani Alves at 91 whose team finished 6th in Brazil, but they've dropped Filipe Luis to 90 whose team dominated last year in Brazil and also won Copa Libertadores for the first time in idk how many years. Where is the damn logic?

There's no logic, my friend.

About this Brazilian review: after taking ages reviewing mediocre teams, it looks like they rushed for the top of the league, picking a bunch of players to review, and forgetting - or ignoring - many others. Let's wait and see if they will complete it and rectify some omissions (single players, like Dani Alves, or whole teams, like the promoted sides Bragantino and Sport Recife).

Other than that, I would consider this review virtually complete. I'll wait a couple of days to post a recap of my predictions, to be sure they finally moved on to another league, which looks like is Germany.

What’s your opinion about hysaj?

will he drop or stay? How’s his potential and how is he doing at Napoli? Any rumour about a potential transfer or so?

90 is probably his cap

No rise for Gustavo Henrique or Martins Rene from Flamengo? Have them in a GW.

I predicted a +1 for Renê, but it looks like he was one of the skipped ones.

I didn't see a rise for G. Henrique, since he played for Santos last season, which I deemed capped at 87. However, considering that Lucas Veríssimo got a +1, to 88, Henrique should have had it, too.

Let's see if they finish Flamengo tomorrow. For example, it makes no sense to me that Bruno Henrique didn't get a +1 to 89.

There must be a fan boy among the SM ranks haha

He’s probably got posters of Dani Alves in his bedroom 😊

Coman or O. Dembele?

My confusion:

Coman: Always an injury away. Which in return limits his playing time. With Sane coming in things may get complicated for him

Dembele: Attitude and professionalism sucks but is always highly spoken of regarding his talent. Not any better than Coman in injury department.

Coman, unless Dembele gets a move away from Barca this summer.

As most of you have noticed, next reviewed league should be Germany. So, I am starting publishing my Bundesliga predictions. I know some of you are also doing it, such as @Sir Rahul or @Soccahappy. I don't want to step on your work, which is probably better than mine, since you have more experience in this, but I think having an extra opinion could always be useful.

As usual, I focus on sub-24 players, but being the first big league I predict, I am trying to include also as many 88+ players as I can.

I start with the promoted and relegated sides, plus those that played the playoffs. Heidenheim lost it and didn't make it to Bundesliga, so it probably won't be reviewed, but I am including it anyway, hoping that in the future they will be considered.

The predictions might not be so accurate for the bottom of the league, but I will be fine-tuning it as we move up to the top teams.

Hope you enjoy, and stay tuned for more! :)

Heidenheim:

David Otto    76 to 80   +4   (loaned from Hoffenheim)
Dorsch    77 to 83   +6
Mohr    75 to 77   +2

Stuttgart:

Kobel    83 to 85   +2   (loaned from Hoffenheim)
Nathaniel Phillips    76 to 82   +6   (loaned from Liverpool)
Karazor    80 to 83   +3
Wamangituka    80 to 83   +3
Clinton Mola    73 to 78   +5
Roberto Massimo    76 to 78   +2
Orel Mangala    83 to 84   +1

Arminia Bielefeld:

Hartel    82 to 85   +3
Pieper    82 to 85   +3
Seufert    78 to 80   +2
Kunze    73 to 77   +4
Lucoqui    73 to 75   +2

Paderborn:

Vasiliadis    83 to 84   +1
Kilian    78 to 80   +2

Fortuna Dusseldorf:

Kastenmeier    73 to 83   +10 (or +9 to 82)
Kelvin Ofori    70 to 73   +3

Werder Bremen:

Friedl    83 to 85   +2
Sargent    83 to 84   +1

Coman for me - Dembele's attitude is the issue (talent wise he is better).

Thank you! I didn't know he was added recently. When was that? Based on cold numbers, he's in line with the best on his team, so he deserves that rating, but of course other factors may influence it, too.

Yeah, there is a chance De Vrij might rise to 92 but it’s unlikely and Brandt is younger and has more potential to rise beyond 91.

Good deal for you.

Added on 10 June - usually players aren't added at such a high rating (82), so might just get 83/84 now

Haven't done the promoted teams - a bit tough to predict how SM do it, honestly.

Arminia are quite low rated in general, so can't say. Stuttgart have many 85+ players already - though Forster is one you could look out for, 80 rated.

There is no way of knowing for sure, but my best guess (and I spend a lot of time guessing in this game) moral affects form, form affects performance, and performance affects outcomes. Just like fitness does. How they precisely ft into the game engine, only the SM wizards know for sure! In the end, nurture your players' morale by giving them a) the appropriate amount of games, and b) money.

+1.. He does need more game time (it's nice to see him improving). However, having him fresh off the bench is actually a big +.

SM and logic? 🤔

That's got to be the most difficult question asked on here. 😇

I would have thought if Dani'pa 👵 kept his 91, then surely this season's "King of America" - Gabriel Barbosa deserved a +1 to 91.
