What’s plan B? I’m intrigued haha.

Ah yes. Plan B. Well, it’s a plan “so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.”*

Having aquired Greenwood, Haaland, Davies, Camavinga, Tapsoba, and Tonali, I was hoping for Valverde as the final jewel in my crown of youngsters. Since he’s now beyond my means, I need someone else.

Like … ? Suggestions welcome!

(I have Saliba, Sako and Martinelli …)

Illan Meslier as many have said has a chance of being number 1 next year, in any case a must buy in any competitive gameworld.

Mateusz Klich will be at least 86 maybe 87 by the end of next year. Luke Ayling also pretty much guaranteed 86 bar injury - also a gem for your fantasy football teams next year ;)

In my opinion the best buy in the championship would be Antonee Robinson. Hopefully moves on to a side he gets game time next year. Feel he has potential to be a starting LB at a big club from what I've seen.

Keep an eye on where Eze ends up been consistently good this year. Both could end up at West Ham.

Some good suggestions, gutted for Robinson that he didn’t end up at Milan last year, wouldn’t see this being a good move for him now though with Theo Hernandez being irreplaceable.

Would anybody prefer him over Felix?

Before lockdown I would of said no with his injuries and everything but since then I do, I can see him being huge for Chelsea.

Next season Chelsea’s attack is going to be scary with Werner, Ziyech and possibly Havertz.

Chelsea really need to sort their defence out if they want to challenge for anything though, this also applies to many of the big teams in England.

Should I swap my Allan Saint Maxim for Leander Dendoncker ?

Any other 89s that might rise to 90 that I could swap him for as well ?

Thanks

ASM will stay but I'd keep him

The Championship has to be the most dramatic league in the world!

Barnsley looked dead and buried but somehow scored in the last minute against Brentford to stave off promotion.

Swansea creep into the playoffs with a 5 goal swing between them and Notts Forest.

Unbelievable Jeff!!

I wouldn’t, ASM has got a bright future and will end up at a top club with in the next year or so.

Oh Brentford :(

Mateusz Bogusz got about 20 minutes right at the very end of Leeds United's season. He also got a league cup game. Would you expect him to rise from his current 73 in the PL review, and if so by roughly how much?

Don't think it's significant enough for a rise

Man Utd's Greenwood has become the first player to score 10 Premier League goals in a season as a teenager since Lukaku did it in 2012-13. Lukaku was rated 88 at the time. Greenwood is 83. What can he expect in the upcoming review?

87

He’s now tied with Wayne Rooney and George Best in reaching 10+ goals in his first season as a teenager for United I think.

He’s in great company.

He is!

This from the BBC: No teenager has ever scored more goals in a single season in all competitions for United than Greenwood (17 - level with George Best in 1965-66, Brian Kidd in 1967-68 and Rooney in 2004-05).

I appreciate how Ole has nurtured him along. The kid is a gem.

Incredible.

I would say rise to 88 but I would rather be more cautious and err on the side caution, I think its better to under predict a rating than over predict then you can’t be shot at haha.

I bought Odoi fo 10 in March, now his price is 14. Is he up for a rise or should I sell him to invest on other potential risers?

Depends how competitive your GW is.

If it’s competitive I would keep but if it isn’t and there’s plenty of youth options in the GW then I would go for others.

Currently I would rather have players like Ferran Torres, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo etc all players around a similar value.

Its not competitive but I am looking for young players who are going to hit 90.. Traore and Grealish are transfer banned.. so in a dilemma

87, with a possible 88. What a youngster, I love him so much.

CHO may struggle for gametime with the influx of attackers at Chelsea, then again Willian and Pedro are leaving so he may have their minutes next season

Time to look at the Spanish second tier then,

Huesca and Cadiz promoted. Zaragoza, Almeria, Girona and Elche/Fuenlabrada in the playoffs. Bit of a crazy story with Deportivo-Fuenlabada postponed due to COVID cases - now Fuenlabrada have the advantage of knowing what to do to get into the playoffs. Deportivo relegated meanwhile without playing at the same time - kinda sad to see them go down again.

https://www.marca.com/en/football/spanish-football/2020/07/20/5f1605c522601d6f428b45aa.html

Anyways. If Spain is next, third promoted team will be unknown so I guess they'll miss out on the promotion review. Ironically, Christian Stuani has more chance of keeping his 90 if Girona don't go up.

Looking at the two promoted:

Huesca:

Alvaro Fernandez (80) - GK, should get 83

Miguelon (82) - loaned from Villarreal, 83/84

Valderrama (82) - 83

Dortmund's Sergio Gomez (loaned to Huesca) got a +2 today.

Cadiz:

Carcelen (80) - most minute in the team, 82/83

Alex Fernandez (84) - worth investment for next season

Fali (80) - 82/83

Shout-out to Alberto Cifuentes - turned 41, captain, played in 39 games this season. Has never played in the La Liga before.

Carcelen +3 to 83

Fali +3 to 83

Cifuentes +1 to 83

Few changes for promoted Benevento in Serie B too.

I’m not sure, wouldn’t be surprised if SM missed him.

Darren O’Shea will be the biggest riser from the Championship, 73 -> 80

I can remember someone on the forum saying he’s had a bad season too hahaha

Yeah I’ve mentioned this a few times now.

Biggest rise for the promoted clubs anyway.

@thorgan lesar

Finally got round to completing that list of 250 players for you, finishing with midfielders (Green) and forwards (Blue)

Sorry it’s took so long, I completely forgot if I’m being honest 🙈

These are the players I would keep:

I’m more of a Coca Cola fan myself
