Rahul W's rating predictions

Interesting fact

Barnsley were in the relegation zone every week from the 15th of September until the 91st minute in the final game of the season and survived. Charlton were in it for one week all season and got relegated. The Championship is absolutely bonkers.

Seen this on Twitter.

Subject to the Wigan appeal ;)

How’s Garner (mine outwards) for Gilmour?

Or should I give Chong for Gilmour?

Gilmour > Garner and Chong

51 minutes ago, Mike0007 said:

I’m actually confused because though Gilmour is a great talent, I heard he is injured and went through surgery & is expected only by October. So wouldn’t it be a huge risk taking Gilmour especially when Chelsea has gone back to their old way of going for blockbuster signings?

Considering this, what do you think of Ampadu for Garner/Chong?

I'd take Ampadu. Garner is more of a long-term investment, likely to go out on loan to a Champ side next season. Chong needs a loan too.

Good one, they just missed a couple of obvious risers. But what about the other promoted side (Huesca)?

Feel like Huesca are rated quite decently for a promoted side. Obvious risers for who?

Hi all, As you have seen, I have not really been active over the past few months other than updating my preds. It's just been me phasing out of the forum. Now that the reviews are done, I can say

Just noticed this thread has crossed 1 million views, 23k odd replies, 930 pages.  I know this is 3 and a half years old but I never intended for this to monopolise the forum back then (I would h

Is the Bundesliga ratings definitely done?

I think so (for now). Lewa and Muller may get +1 after the CL is over

How did Tyler Adams not get a +1? Probably because he's not played enough and not had much influence on RB Leipzig's season.

How did Reus not get -1? He was actually playing quite well before his injury, I'm sure his performances would have helped BD in finishing the season in a strong position.

Not rating related but just a quick quesiton.

Do people buy into using their 'in form' players in big games over choosing the highest rating or vice-versa. I've got a few slgihtly lesser rated players (only 2/3 ratings less) currently performing really well, but got Kane coming from injury just in time for a big game. What does everyone recommend? Thank you in advance!

Fit and highest rated players before the rest.

Zubeldia or Ocampos - they are both due for +1, but which one is more likely?

He's been one of the best performing player's in La Liga this season.

From looking at the PL what do we think of the following players.

John Egan from 86 to 88?  Possible. Played very well and probably the main CB for the club

Danny Ings 89 to 90? I would give him a +1.

Adama Traore 88 to 90? More likely 89 though I think

Jarrod Bowen 85 - 87? Seems to be finishing the season strongly. Don't know

Need to sell one of these!

Gabriel veron or cherki?

As Kierans91 said, neither!

Surely there must be other less talented young players that you could sell instead?

What are people’s thoughts on 2m+ Grealish for Ocampos?

I reckon you should keep/get Grealish: as now is a great time for him to take the step up and move to a bigger Club.

Man United would be ideal for him - I was reading that he's a big fan of the Club. 🙂

I guess that would mean less playing time for D. James and J.Lingaard, or maybe they will both be sold by the Club. Especially if J. Sancho is also coming to Old Trafford.

I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's

What are people’s thoughts on 2m+ Grealish for Ocampos?

I would take ocampos definite 90 next. Grealish may only get 89 and wouldnt start at ManU. Ocampos type of player easy gets 92 in spain as its easy to get higher rating there. Hell look at Iago Aspas. 91 in spain 87 tops in england. There are other factors but you get my point

Kurt Promoted teams: Usually done just b4 Premiership review is started. I'm a little too close to take a view on rises for Leeds but best 2 quality players in my opinion Pablo (The Old Guy, I'm allowed to say that cos I'm twice his age) and Kalvin Phillips.

Think a lot will get rises but small rises. Soucek has made a difference at WHAM I'll be doing them in my spreadsheet hopefully b4 SM get to them, but yes +1 deserved IMO.

Soucek and Bowen have been the difference along with Antonio.

Ogbonna has been amazing since restart aswell.

But those two won't rise.Soucek and Bowen should both get +1

Ben Johnson should get +5 minimum.

I'm so pissed off. Guys do you know what's the criteria Chairman uses to decide which offers to accept or reject when done to a Lvl 5 concern player? I offered Player + cash until the maximun for two lvl 5 concern players and both were rejected to accept lower value ones. Just senseless.

It also has rejected some offers made to external players. Both only cash and cash + players.

Straight from the manual :

Other clubs will then be able to make cash only bids for the player.

Spreadsheet predictions that failed to appear in SM Germany Review

Did SM get it wrong or spreadsheet? Your view would be appreciated on each or any below??

Losers-Bundasliga1.png

My Views: Well a lot of these are RED BOXES so these are not based on stats but SM's view of their performance.

Lewandowski: I think SM waiting on Champions League results/ performances and LEW may get it very soon.

Sarpreet: Only a few minutes but others got rises with few minutes but OK

Tyler Adams: 955minutes from December to E.O. Season for a 85 rated player at a Big Club?? +23% SM MISS IMO

Hakimi: Very surprising to me BUT may get delayed rise due to Transfer

OK From this point I'll miss out the RED BOXES or I'll be repeating myself over & over

M Friedrich: Huge mins! Anybody believe he didn't deserve a rise?

Ethan Ampadu: Can understand this one as he was injured late on but had some mins OK SM

OK I won't comment on every player, but does anybody believe SM got any right that were not RED Boxed??

You should work for SM, you'll do a better job ;)

I'm not worried about potential transfers now, but I'm curious how you guys rate Takefusa Kubo vs. Gabriel Martinelli. With Isco and Bale potentially out of Real Madrid, could Kubo get some game time for a higher rise? Martinelli is injured now, but I can see him getting into Arsenal's lineup given his performance in the Europa League.
