Rahul W's rating predictions

Thought I would try my hand at predictions (with a twist) for my home country which is England and more importantly the EPL.

Ive compiled a starting 11 of players which I believe will have success in 20/21 and should also be in for a decent rise in this upcoming review.

This team will consist of many well known players but would be served as a good tool for managers in low divisions in less competitive GW’s.

This 11 should be useful for anyone with a 25-30 million budget.

Novel idea i like it but maybe 85 is a bit low for the sheffield united starting goalkeeper

Hi all, As you have seen, I have not really been active over the past few months other than updating my preds. It's just been me phasing out of the forum. Now that the reviews are done, I can say

Anyone looking for a bargain in a division 5 team.

Dara O’Shea is a good option from West Brom, 1300 minutes playing at full back.

SM rating - 73

Value - 360k

Should be reviewed regardless of wether West Brom get promoted due to his low rating, much lower than the average first team player at West Brom.

Should get more opportunities next season too with Ferguson potentially moving to a team in the EPL.

Potential rise in the region of high 70’s maybe even 80.

73 -> 80 this morning, worth over 1 million pound more.

360k -> 1.4 million

Bartosz Bialek (18) signs for Wolfsburg for €4.6 million, a step in the right direction for the pole.

73 -> 78 (+5)

Nice rise for Bialek and hopefully he can get some game time this season for Wolfsburg.

Bayern should have another review in the next couple of days, looks like SM are looking on the forum after Messi getting a drop to 98.

Messi was a hot topic yesterday after Ronaldo dropped.

Orban or Diop?

Auba or Romagnoli+Conti?

Diop, he’s younger and a regular at West Ham. I don’t see Orban featuring over Upamecano or Klostermann next season.

Auba, one of the best strikers in the EPL in my opinion, always seems to get 20 goals a season regardless of Arsenal’s league position or where he plays on the pitch.

Should still be 94 for at least another few season.

Yeah for me I think should both drop.

Stones, Otamendi should both drop in my opinion as well, City’s defence has been awful for the majority of this season.

Yeah, valid point.

86 maybe more realistic and then 87/88 by the end of next season. Didn’t want to say he would rise too much and then have the chance of not rising to let’s say 86.

I personally prefer to predict players ratings lower just in case SM are harsh towards said player 😂

Thanks for the feedback 🙂

Opinions welcome, would people find this useful for other leagues? the idea is for managers to be able to buy everyone on in the 11 and quickly form a competitive team.

Might be more useful for less well know leagues.

Awesome work!

About Neuer (maybe he deserved to drop previously), I just cannot explain myself how it's possible to see goalkeepers like Ter Stegen but also Oblak (except playing very good for a while) having a quick rise like them. I can name also a weaker goalie like Burki: there are lots of players with a lower rate but playing far good than him. The biggest scandal for me was De Gea. But not only goalkeepers. I'm just thinking to forwards sometimes: Neymar first. They just gave him a ridiculous rise every time he went to Rio's carnival. I could go on but I won't.

are you serious ? ter stegen and oblak have been exceptional year after year in liga in terms of statistics, without ter stegen barcelona would have finished 5th this season. have you watched a.madrid vs liverpool in CL?  Oblak made 10 saves against Liverpool. alisson oblak ter segen are 10 times better than burki and everyone knows it...

de gea was exceptional for us between 2015 and 2018, anyone who watches LP knows how de gea was phenomenal (2016 2017 best gk in the world with neuer)

the difference between alisson / ter stegen compared to burki or other gk of this note is the same between thiago alcantara and granit xhaka, xhaka plays a lot of games with arsenal but doesn't increase, you know why? because he is not good enough.

I'm delighted about O'Shea and Bialek as got them both in a really low economy world. Difficult to get players from the big leagues in it. I bought Bialek though before he'd moved.

The Premier League must be close after the Leeds and WBA changes. I have some Sheffield United players and hope they will get rises again.

What kind of rating changes will Elche get after they got promoted to La Liga? Theres lots of low rated players in their team. Could they get + 2/3 like some of Cadiz and Huesca players?

Spanish review is done so Elche might get missed. Italy's Spezia got missed too. Impossible to predict if they get done later.

Should get 86, and then 87 in the winter (guaranteed regardless of team's form as long as he plays every game). 88 will be dependent on team though.

Surely ter Stegen and Oblak deserve their ratings?

Neuer dropping was a consequence of injury, age and lack of form in the Kovac period.

De Gea was in the top two bracket in the world from about 2014 to 2018.

Rating GKs are tough because a lot is dependent on the team as much as them, not all thrive in different situations.

With Neymar I've seen he got 3 rises in 2015 but then again it was their treble year and FCB were the best in the world then.

Did a rapport on Bialek in Thorgan’s thread, he was killing it in Poland so I’m not surprised he’s got a move to Wolfsburg.

Deserved a rise and I guess the move has alerted SM and they have adjusted his rating accordingly.

2 players to keep for the foreseeable future, Bialek more than O’Shea.

Would need a back-up left back, current options are:

100000000000%

Out of your options I would go for Gosens or Telles.

Leaning more towards Gosens, I believe Telles will stay at Porto for another season and will probably move on next summer.

Reguilon, probably the best in terms of potential I’m really interested to see where he ends up next season.

I know Everton have been linked but I think he should be playing for a team much higher up. Chelsea look set with Chilwell but I would rather have Reguilon for half the price.

Not much in it between Reguilon and Gosens for me but I would edge Reguilon but both are great options 🙂

Exactly that Hatter, he's a workmanlike, solid, mostly reliable player in an elite team that has defensive weakness's and attacking flair. If he get's a +1 it may be difficult to get past 90 or 91 anytime soon, if ever.

SPREADSHEET WILL BE MORE READABLE WHEN SIDEBARS RETRACT IN Appx 3  PAGES TIME

OR straightway click on zoom to 125% or 150% and it's monster size and can be read Immediately. Left hand side of screen disappears entirely, great!

Again Typo 😆 Sensi obviously NOT a +2 and should show a Zero! Last of spreadsheet contrasts with SM's Italian Review. Pity Juve's youngsters were overlooked by SM, Muratore & Sannimacchia. Their day will come ...

Thanks to all for the interest and support for the spreadsheet predictions, much appreciated, Cheers Socca 😀
