Rahul W's rating predictions

Recommended Posts

In Liverpool's defence: they foolishly continued to play a high-line for too long in the game, without pressing Aston Invisabilla enough.

In other news: it was another great win for Milan. Nice to see R. Leao coming good for us - with Ibra's absence. Saladmakers is also starting to improve his overall game. Brahim Diaz needs to connect with the team more, but he's done ok so far. Calamity Calabria has had a very good start to the season - long may it continue.

I am in shock! Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. Awful mistakes, awful defending & awful bad luck (I'm not blaming the defeat on bad luck, Villa deserved to win).

Agree with both comments about the game 🙂

Poor performances from Gomez, TAA and obviously Adrian too who seems like the pantomime villain at Liverpool 😂

Nice to see Milan field a young squad with 9 of their starting 11 - 23 y/o or under.

Adding Rayan Ait-Nouri (82) to Wolves to this. Nice move for him.

Also like Marc Roca to Bayern. Good he isn't sticking around at Espanyol and will be interesting to see how much gametime he will get. Thiago has left, Cuisance might leave, but they are looking for an RB (Sarr) that will free Kimmich to play in midfield.

Maybe if Javi Martinez also goes Roca can play a decent amount this season.

Few more interesting deals from an SM POV:

  • Toni Martinez (83) to Porto
  • Moise Kean (87) to PSG on loan
  • Idrissa Doumbia (85) to Huesca on loan

And two others that haven't been completed but seem close:

  • Josh Cullen (82) to Anderlecht
  • Djamel Benlamri (80) to Lyon - supposedly joining on a free to replace Andersen. No clue who this guy is or how good he is, but minutes at Lyon would see him rise given his low rating.

All set for deadline day tomorrow where I'm sure we'll see plenty of strange/interesting moves.

United game was terrible, but thank you Aston Villa for cheering me up!

How did Lorenzo Colombo play? Is he a good talent?

Chance Grealish upgrade to 99? I have him in 2 game worlds 🤣🤣🤣

Right now Colombo could really do with a move away on loan - he lacks confidence/maturity to play for Milan right now.

We have Leao, Zlatan, Rebic (and even Diaz) who can all play the forward role.

I think Grealish has/will justify his rise to 90.

🤔 However, a "upgrade to 99"? I don't think that would be very fair, as even (prime) Iniesta couldn't ever dream of rising to such heights on SM - he wasn't too far off though (when he was at the height of his career). 🙂

https://www.google.co.jp/amp/s/www.givemesport.com/1600247-aston-villas-jack-grealish-compared-to-barcelona-legend-andres-iniesta-by-gabriel-agbonlahor%3famp

Maybe Gabby was high 🚬 on glue or something during that interview: because it's like comparing Declan Rice to Xavi Alonso, or even worse - comparing Hapless Harry Maguire to Carlos Puyol.

Yeah he was, I remember him giving away the ball for Dortmund’s second goal.

Although with him being only 82 I think he deserves to go up a couple based on game time. He did rise by 5 in December but at the minute it looks like he may have the nod over Nubel.

Yeah the 2 that stand out for me for Gallen are Miro Muheim and Yannis Letard. Both 73 rated and should rise between 78 and 80 in my opinion.

Mentioned back in May that Miro Muheim and Yannis Letard would both rise between 78 and 80.

Today:

Yannis Letard - 73 -> 80

Miro Muheim - 73 -> 80

Someone mentioned a while back Laimer or Grealish, I would still pick Grealish. I think he’s gone up a gear since last season and that combination between him and Barkley could blossom nicely this season.

I scoffed when Watkins was bought for 30 million but it’s looking like a great bit of business now 😂

Nuno Mendes

Club - Sporting CP

Age - 17

Position - Left Back

Transfer link - Manchester United

Nuno Mendes is a physically strong left back who is currently playing for Sporting Lisbon in there u23’s

He has astonishing pace with a great ability to get forward and drive at his opponents, aswell as playing for Sporting he has also played for Portugal at u16,17,18 and 19’s.

Below is a short clip of what he is capable of.

He has been linked with Manchester United according to various newspapers with the fact he has the same agent as Bruno Fernandes potentially being a big factor on wether he signs or not.

www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8344741/amp/Manchester-United-tracking-best-19s-left-Europe-Nuno-Mendes.html

The man dubbed ‘the best u19’s left back in Europe’ is a must buy for anyone looking to invest in the future, however Nuno is currently not in SM but I will be sure to update when he does get added.

SM - N/A

Value - N/A

This is why Nuno Mendes is one of the hottest prospects in football at the minute 👏🤩

SWIKI REPORT TODAY: The point of most interest in just 3and a half pages was:-

BELGIUM: Peculiarly, almost all the Clubs noted had 6 or 7 edits, I mean Literally 6 or 7 edits!

Then KAA Gent had 13! Clubs with 6 or 7 were Royal Antwerp, Sporting Charleroi, Mechelen, Cercle Brugge, KRC Genk, Standard Leige and the only other club of note was St. Gallen with 3.... rest were all mainly 1 offs.

What do we make of this?? Well KAA Gent was reviewed on the 13th / 14th May 2020 and b4 this May 2019 ie a Yearly Review!

SWIKI REPORT TODAY: Nothing of interest in 3 and a half pages  Nuttin... Nuts ... Nowt ... NIL! 🙁☹️😟😞😒.... Don't shoot the messenger Please😀Socca😀 ....

Well there was Vallci and Berisha of Red Bull Salzburg Hurrah! 😀

Have I uploaded Salzburg recently? can't honestly remember, think I did!

Please click on zoom to 125% or even 150% and the whole width of the SM Black screen is completely FULL! (No Black)

Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions will become.

I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's

Pred-Austr-RBull-Salz1.png

Thought I'd update, as RBS went thru SWIKI earlier this morning. Will follow up with Rapid Vienna probably late tomorrow morning and Switzerland also being reviewed and that would hopefully be updated to upload about this time tomorrow.

Also hopefully SM will give an extra boost to at least Patson Daka and maybe Szoboszlai as they did With Normann in the recent Russian Review. I know there is not-much time passed ie early September but they did it for Normann and Patson Daka at least is more deserving of a +4 rather than the +3 they gave.

Thanks again for the interest and support shown for the Spreadsheet Predictions, greatly appreciated Cheers Socca 😀

Yes I did about 6 days ago, weird, seems ages ago what with all the matches over the weekend. Anyway see above,

  • Oussama Idrissi (87) to Sevilla
  • Arnaud Kalimuendo (70) to Lens on loan (as Kieran mentioned earlier)
  • Nicolas Schippacasse (80) to Sassuolo

Samardzic - I think he will fully break into Leipzig’s first team within a couple of seasons. Bold prediction but already getting the odd chance.

I also really like Musah and Hepburn although unfortunately for Hepburn he’s out for 4 months with ligament damage.

With the others I believe you will have a better judgement that me 🙂
