Mazraoui or Dumfries?

Very Similar on stats:-

Dumfries 24/89 540mins out of 720 for PSV in 3rd 2pts behind Ajax

Mazraoui 23/88 547mins out of 720 for Ajax in 1st 2pts ahead of PSV

Dumfries is probably capped at present rating, Mazraoui can rise if he keeps it up. Positionally similar of course. So does the 88 with a good chance of a rise make the difference. I've not seen either of them play but Mazraoui missed a lot of minutes last season mainly thru injury.

BTW to All:  Pet Schuurs has more minutes than both of them so far this season with 571mins. Has he finally broke thru at Ajax?? Certainly in for a rise from 82 if he continues to possibly 85. @LauraAFCA Can U tell us Laura??? And of course re Rhugrakkur Question above??

Hi all, As you have seen, I have not really been active over the past few months other than updating my preds. It's just been me phasing out of the forum. Now that the reviews are done, I can say

Just noticed this thread has crossed 1 million views, 23k odd replies, 930 pages.  I know this is 3 and a half years old but I never intended for this to monopolise the forum back then (I would h

Good question mate. As you say, the 4 88+ were all transfers. I think 86 may be the cap for winter review. Few of the Leeds regulars are 84 currently, tough to see +3s. However Enda Stevens got a +3 at Sheff last season so it is possible. If anyone gets 87 from 84 probably Dallas or Bamford?

I'll do that tbh - or Oyarzabal/Firmino and McKennie

Prefer the duo

Thank u Sir Rahul for your expertise on this one, I was going for 88 but have reduced it to 87. It won't make a massive difference with all the formula's at play in the spreadsheet, but I'll be a bit closer for adding your usual wisdom. When SM gain to give me some more "thanks" to spread one official one will fly out immediately!

Jonathan David for Calvert-Lewin?
Didn't watch David at Lille but his statistic says 10 games 0 g/a.Not sure about him.

Good question. DCL will definitely get 90 next review. Maybe 91 in the summer depending on his season/Everton's form. But where does he go after? English players don't go overseas at their peak so his only options for a big move in England are: Tottenham (Kane 4 years old), Chelsea (Werner/Abraham the same age), Arsenal (maybe... but doubt), Man City (Aguero replacement? Doubtful), Liverpool (out of the question) and Man Utd (Martial/Rashford/Greenwood same age/younger).

David on the other hand is 3 years younger, yes he is still settling in but that should not be an issue, he has age on his side, DCL for example only took off last season. And of course, his options are not limited so he could find himself at a bigger club.

I haven't watched either much so this is not based on the eye test.

Asensio STAY 91?

Yes, he is still young and has earned leeway due to his ACL injury last year.

Mazraoui or Dumfries?

Hmm. I'd go Mazraoui because he has another rise left in him at Ajax, so should get you profit. Dumfries will need a move to a bigger league to get 90 (unless PSV win the league, even then I'm not too sure).

I think so. Should get 85 next review, maybe 86. Based on stats looks like he has played second most minutes for CBs at Ajax - Blind (930), Schurrs (805), Martinez (426) and Timber (155).

Stay at 91, rotation is massive for most teams in Europe. So I think his minutes are purely down to rotation with Hazard, Vinny Jr, Rodrygo etc.

Two consecutive posts of mine in two different threads have been hidden. Did this forum pick on me? Moderators, please help me! :)

I was about to do it but I believe it’s already been done, I will approve the one above just for a laugh 😀

It definitely seems like hidden posts come in pairs or you get a few at the same time.

Reckon you made right choice as manager? I thought Tommy Wright would have got job.

I think we did yeah, I know the results haven't been great under Ian, but the performances have been decent enough. A big problem for Ian is that, Stevie Davis our captain is now 35 , and his impact on matches is becoming less and less. His impact is greatly missed, as he ran matches for us. We also don't have many goals in our team.

It took O'Neill some time to get it right but as well as Davis I think you've got quite an old squad. Who do you see coming through currently that can make an impact?

Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions will become.

I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's

Spr-Sht-Pre-Premiership-Man-C-Livp1.png

Repeat, be careful of the RED BOXES, read warning in red above if u haven't already read it.

It's not a coincidence that most of the players that are top of these 2 tables are young, low rated and playing for elite clubs. SM don't often miss these types of players when reviewing and that's why they are safer bets. Doesn't mean they don't ever miss them but they statistically have these bigger safety ratings.

Just how badly Liverpool are suffering injuries, now Salah is out for a few weeks I hear just this afternoon?

Thanks for the interest and support for the Spreadsheet, which is greatly appreciated, Cheers Socca 😀

Taa? Even with injury? I know this is just the formula but wondering if the LPOOL players in high 90s will get rises (Salah mane et al)

henderson due a rise from previous review surely ? Thiughts

Will Joao Cancelo get downgrade? Idk, read somewhere that Pep doesn't rate him.

He is just get available in my GW. He will be starter for me but with the EPL reviews around the corner, I'm unsure.

Absolutely not, Pep plays him LB over Zinchenko and Mendy when Cancelo is a RB he’s also been playing well there for City.

Also if you look at his stats this season he’s been one of City’s best performers only behind Gabriel Jesus who has barely played.

Ratings top 3

Gabriel Jesus - 7.74

Joao Cancelo - 7.52

Kevin De Bruyne - 7.16
