I know Rahul has Bernardo down as a -1 and I must say that I’m slowly coming round to that too. It’s a shame I’d love to see the old Bernardo back when he was in his first year at City or when he played for Monaco.

Still chaotic. Today's review:

Stuttgart - pretty well done given there was so many changes needed

Gladbach - good review

Union Berlin - excellent review

Leipzig - only one change (a good one) - still waiting

Bayern - two changes, both deserved- still waiting

Leipzig - one change, excellent - still waiting

Dortmund - ??

Wolfsburg - ??

- Dortmund and Wolfsburg will surely be done, as they are some big rises due for youngsters in both teams

Can L. Jovic drop? Or is it like 50/50?

Possible but he is still only 23 (his birthday is today!)

Callejon -1 to 88? He is 90 currently, do you think he will get -2 to 88 then?

Ah, I'll change to 89 but -2 is possible given his age and Fiorentina's form.

Given Bernardo Silva's recent form I would do the swap deal.

SMS (25, 92) is still at his peak  as a footballer.

I reckon he'd be a great replacement for either the aging/declining Modric or the declined Pogba at their respective clubs. Ofcourse I would prefer if he signs for United, and gets enough gametime, unlike VDB.  🙂

I would rather we not spend big money on another midfielder - we have VDB now, looks like Moises Caicedo is signing. If we are spending it should be on a right-winger, CB, or DM.

Some real monkey paw stuff there. giving Boateng his deserved rise but removing his ability to play RB. Now hopefully they'll go back, review the rest of the teams they've missed and give Alaba a rise (I know I'm dreaming there).

I didn't notice that. Seeing as he last played RB in 2011/12, it's a good change.

They have given Niklas Sule RB instead after he played their last two games at RB.

Alaba is really unlikely - and I don't have a major issue with it now - he is surely moving on from Bayern now, and I think it depends where he moves to. At Liverpool, yes 94 is possible. At Real Madrid, possible but we have to see. At this version of Barca - unlikely.

The issue with him is he is demanding way too high wages. I believe he is asking Bayern for 400k pounds a week - they are 'only' willing to give 290k pounds a week. Those wages can only be offered by a handful of clubs.

Yeah, I think a drop to 92 will be fair and not that bad, because 92 is still a great rating. If you look at the City squad I don't see why Silva should be a rating point higher than everyone barring KDB, Aguero, Sterling and Ederson.

Could be a huge season for Noni Madueke

The game was at 1-1 before his arrival.

Noni Madueke (18) is having a great breakout season!

Assist leaders in all comps (under 19s)

🇧🇫 Lassina Traoré - 8
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Noni Madueke - 7
🇧🇷 Rodrygo - 6
🇺🇸 Gio Reyna - 6
🇧🇪 Jeremy Doku - 6
🇨🇿 Adam Hlozek - 6
🇩🇪 Florian Wirtz - 5
🇬🇪 K. Kvaratskhelia - 5
🇬🇷 Christos Tzolis - 5
🇪🇸 Ansu Fati - 4
🇳🇱 Ryan Gravenberch - 4
🇩🇪 Karim Adeyemi - 4

His season so far:

☑️ 6 starts
️ 6 goals
🅰️ 6 assists
🔥 Goal involvement every 67 min
💯 Unbeaten when he’s involved in a goal

I mentioned back in September that he could have a huge season and he’s proving just that 😊

Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions will become.

I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's

Have to accept, at the pace Sm is swinging thru BIG5 Reviews & my wrist being in "repetitive strain" I cannot keep up and have to prioritise the number of clubs I can do in the spreadsheet.

So from here on I will prioritise BIG clubs and "Interesting" clubs ie who might have perhaps a lot of risers. This won't effect the premiership as the "skeleton is already built / completed" and I can update a lot quicker than the rest of the League's which have to be "Re-Built almost completely". So I shall update the Premiership as much as I can & see what I else I can do, as SM Reviews may slow down for the Christmas break.

I will always post between appx 5pm and 6pm IF there is anything to post. I will try to get at least something every non football day ie where games are during the day like I suppose Boxing day and weekends.

Thanks for your interest and support it is really appreciated, Cheers Socca 😀

@Sir Rahul

Ahhh. I never think of the transfer in that way, as splashing the cash has never really been a problem for Manunited.

I guess SMS is better of at Madrid, especially now with this (quite talented, Pogba-Kante mix of a player) Moises Caicedo coming in.

Guehi and White comparisons in the Championship are difficult, as White was able to win the league. I don't think Guehi stands out as much and he isn't as flashy on the ball, but he doesn't make mistakes and it's his consistency that I think will be really suited to top flight football. I think he'll be in a similar position to White this time next season in terms of minutes, and who he's playing for.

The Olise and Eze comparison one is interesting, because it's who springs to mind when I think of Michael Olise as the most obvious comparison. Olise is three years younger than Eze, and I don't think is quite there in terms of development but definitely has at least as much potential. He's got more goal contributions already this season aged 19 (11), then Eze managed in the whole of 19/20 as a 20 year old (7) and could be on course to get the amount Eze managed last season (22) which earned him that Premier League move.

Is Unai Simon worth keeping? Thinking of trading him for Kasper Schmeichel who’s the only 90+ keeper available in my gameworld

I'd get Schmeichel. Simon has been struggling recently, Bilbao are not the force of old, and he is unlikely to move away in the next 3 years.

I'm looking to add a young goalkeeper. Which one of the following do you think has the most potential?

Florian Mueller, Djordje Petrovic, Schwengber Cleiton, Justin Bijlow, Aleksandr Maksimenko, Arnaud Bodart, Matvej Safonov

Muller - 86 may be his ceiling for now, max 87, didn't rise this review

Petrovic - just reviewed, Cukaricki are a mid-table Serbian club, there are better options

Cleiton - RB Brasil are lower mid-table, so maybe he gets a small rise to 84/85 next review but he needs a bigger move.

Bijlow - playing a fair bit this season, could get 86 in next review

Maksimenko - playing regularly, got 85 in Sept so Russian review is a long time away

Bodart - only 82 rated, regular at Liege, should get a good rise next review. So I'd go for him. I see he's scored a goal this season too!

Long-term potential, it is difficult to judge GKs honestly. One good move and regular football and their rating will fly up.

Theo H. or Bergwijn + B. Mendy

What Milanista said! Bergwijn's ceiling at Spurs is 90 (can't see him getting higher for some time), Mendy has peaked imo.
