Hi all, As you have seen, I have not really been active over the past few months other than updating my preds. It's just been me phasing out of the forum. Now that the reviews are done, I can say

Just noticed this thread has crossed 1 million views, 23k odd replies, 930 pages.  I know this is 3 and a half years old but I never intended for this to monopolise the forum back then (I would h

Upamecano - +1 (this is based off the bundesliga review so far which has been good)

Is Unai Simon worth keeping? Thinking of trading him for Kasper Schmeichel who’s the only 90+ keeper available in my gameworld

Schmeichel, he’s a solid keeper who won’t drop anytime soon and I struggle to see how Simon reaches his level at Bilbao.

Are any of these players worth a trading my PARTEY + KOVACIC for?

Both players are surplus in my squad. KOVACIC doesn't look like he is going to go much higher and with Arsenal's form, PARTEY seems only likely to go down.

I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's

Barella is currently at 91. In your spreadsheet says +1 to 91. So do you think he will stay or have a chance for +1 to 92?

Additional question for anyone. Is Partey 92 safe given poor Arsenal form?

Yeah I think he’s safe, struggled with injuries and would be harsh in my opinion for him to drop. On top of that he’s still adapting to a new league, team and country.

Given Bernardo Silva's recent form I would do the swap deal.

SMS (25, 92) is still at his peak  as a footballer.

I reckon he'd be a great replacement for either the aging/declining Modric or the declined Pogba at their respective clubs. Ofcourse I would prefer if he signs for United, and gets enough gametime, unlike VDB.  🙂

Sold. They even threw in 8 million with SMS 😎

Let's hope this pays off.

Does anyone know what country is next to be reviewed after Germany?

Cyprus 😂

In all honesty I’m not sure which of the big five. My guess would be the Premier League.

Leverkusen and Bayern ?

Yeah and I’m hoping SM have a day off tomorrow so I can buy Bailey 😂

Really hope Leipzig isn’t complete though I think Olmo and Adams deserved to rise. Especially Adams.

Rabiot? Very funny 🙄

Likely not a winter drop for PARTEY, but considering that Arsenal are now unlikely to qualify for Europa and people are talking about them possibly even being the relegation fight, I can't see him holding the 92 long term. There are already only 2x 92+ players in the Arsenal squad and how many players for EPL teams outside of Europa do you know of with 92+ ratings?

Arsenal being in relegation fight is an anomaly. Should not be read too much in to this.

Not like there’s 24 games left in the season. I know huge teams have been relegated but it’s premature to think that Arsenal are in a relegation fight.

Regarding Partey’s rating it is true what you are saying but I just think it would be harsh to drop him in the winter and who knows what will happen with him from now until the end of the season. Like I said before he’s still adjusting, the style of play is a huge difference. Under Simeone he was played as a very defensive minded player and now at Arsenal Arteta is expecting him to be an all singing all dancing midfielder.

Some of the best players struggle with adapting to a new league, just look at Werner who has openly come out and said that he didn’t realise how tough the Premier League was and he hasn’t struggled with injury.

Very good review for Dortmund all in all with Haaland a few days prior.

Giovanni Reyna - 80 -> 86

Maxence Lacroix - 78 -> 83

Jude Bellingham - 82 -> 86

Youssoufa Moukoko - 67 -> 75 (worth 2.2 million now 😳)

Lazar Samardzic - 73 -> 73

Hi all,

Nadiem Amiri (89) for Thorgan Hazard (90) & Anthony Gordon (78). Which side will you choose?

I would go for the duo.

Is it worth exchanging Djene for Buendia?

Is Buendia likely to move to a bigger club as I don't see him raising at Norwich.

There was talk about Buendia moving last summer but nothing materialised, not sure about January both Arsenal and Everton are said to be interested.

I would maybe keep Djene for the time being if you can and buy Buendia if he does make the switch from Norwich.
